- This little boy fills the heart with joy and laughter. He makes me laugh out loud XD. But he is still a little boy and needs a safe spot which he finds with Nemsi. Nemsi carries him around and he sleeps with her. It is lovely to see. Lots of questions about Kiango on the part of breastfeeding. Today during the feeding presentation it was told so I guess it is okay to share now. He is eating solid food very well and in the morning he gets formula powder on his food. They don't want to make him a bottle fed baby, so this is the perfect way to give him te nutrition he needs. He is also being weighed every day so they keep a close eye on him. And he still loves to play with the mangabeys! I hope to have answered a lot of the questions ;).

He is just a spirited little man! I just love to see him playing and having a good time. God Bless Nemsi! She has given That sweet boy a safe, loving new momma to hold on to. I am positive Gyasi is smiling down with love for her sister Nemsi for adopting her precious boy! Keep having fun little man! You are awesome!

Nemesi is so wonderful to adopt this baby. She is a magnificent example of motherhood. It's not about who gives birth, it's about who loves and cares for the baby.
Looks like both Mandji and Nemsi are looking out for the little one... he's so active and adorable.
So thankful for Nemsi💕💕 little Kiango cuddling up to her is just the sweetest. Its like a sigh of relief every time i see him and hes doing ok💕

Brave little silverback in the making. I laughed when he drummed his chest and stomped his feet just like a silverback. Kiango still has some personality traits of his mother. Look at Tayari, she is mischievous as well.
Look at Jabali. He is a very naughty boy. I think that they get a lot of personality traits from their mothers. Ringo on the other hand is very chilled out just like Iriki

Delightful video❣️ Kiango is developing a mean left hook - I especially love how he turns around and shows the mangabey his bottom - the final insult! It’s so wonderful to see him with Nemsi. That little pot-belly he has developed is just the cutest thing ever. 🥰

我希望那些奶粉足夠補足他這年紀該有的營養. 在還需要喝奶的年紀若沒有補足奶水, 以人類來說, 有可能造成小朋友鈣質不足, 牙齒及骨骼的發育都會受影響. 不明白為什麼不讓他喝瓶瓶奶, 泡成奶水讓他像喝水一般喝也好啊!
@@janetliu5854 我相信保育員們一定會全力照顧好小Kiango ，他們是以猩猩這些靈長類動物為主的動物園，再加上Kiango 身付寶寶來自野外血統的新血脈，特別的珍貴，拼命要把他照顧的無微不至！野外的猩猩也沒有奶瓶可以拿著喝，何必為了滿足我們的“擔心”給他人類發明的東西，園方也給他奶粉補充營養，版大也是因為園方有“保母講古”的時候回覆了這個喝奶的問題才覺得自己可以公開把這個狀況跟大家說明，所以我們就支持園方，看著Kiango 幫他加油，要打贏猴子們！（誤？）哈哈哈～
最近看發現kiango肚子大的有點誇張，不知道有沒有生病
我小時候住鄉下，記得有配送奶粉給小孩吃，我們就直接吃大人也不管，沒喝水結果就很嚴重的便秘，Kiango 如果沒喝足夠的水，大便無法排出肚子會越來越大造成宿便影響健康

I love how gorillas have in their genes both the urge to dominate and the tendency for gentleness. Kiango just held the branch in the air as if he was going to hit with it, but didn't. He just waited the monkey to back away.

It's so good to see that Kiango has playmates his own size. It seems that he's dealing very well with the loss of his mom. Towards the end of the video, there is a gorilla lady who looks a lot like Gyasi. I love this troop!!!!
When I saw Kiango's big belly in the previous video, I thought maybe the zoo is feeding him more solid food and it turns out I was correct! 🙂He seems to be thriving!! Good job zoo and Nemsi! And thanks for the lovely video, Lieke!!

小傢伙好幾次用手敲打著胸，威嚇猴子，比寶寶老大還威呢～ 哈哈哈！看到以前小Kiango跟猴子打架，難敵2猴進逼而躲到媽媽身邊時，Gyasi她還會站起身飭退猴子們，雖然沒動手，但是媽媽一付“夠了噢！”護著小K，不過度保護，難怪小Kiango這麼小就自信滿滿，很有自己一套的！跟Tayari 一樣鬼靈精怪，超可愛！

I think Kiango is not to the age to wean, but Nemsi doesn't have milk for him... so the zookeeper gives him bottle milk instead?
I have read somewhere that when little gorilla's beat their chest it means they want to play.
In the intro of the video you can read how they take care of Kiango.
Young Gorilla's beat they're chest out of playfulness. So it's just playful. When they're adult it is to scare off. About the bottle question, I've written down something about it in the description. He doesn't get a bottle but he does get the formula and water. ;)

🇨🇦 omg I just love, LOVE Kiango! I love Gorillas sooo much. I watch everything with Gorillas involved! They are such Beautiful intelligent animals. Although I know they are so well cared for where they are but honestly these beautiful Gorillas shouldn't be in cage/fenced areas. They are a wild animal that belongs in mountains free to roam to where ever! 😩 It breaks my heart to see them locked in.

A very healthy baby ;). He eats more solid food than others so that could be the reason for the difference with other buddies with the same age
To: Cathy H - The 'bloating' can come and go. A large part of it is due to the gases produced by digestion. Eating large amounts of vegetation will do this.
Ha ha! I've seen several comments on videos where viewers have noticed emissions of such, from the posterior.

Do they know what Gyasi passed away from?
All we were told it was a bacterial infection. Extremely heartbreaking. His mother Gyasi was a legend at Apenheul and also the mother of Tayari from the D’Jeeco troop. Aunt Nemsi is also related to Iriki from the D’Jeeco troop they’re 1/2 sisters.

I hope that the milk powder is enough to supplement the nutrition that he should have at his age. If there is no supplementary milk at the age when he still needs to drink milk, in human terms, it may cause the child's calcium deficiency, and the development of teeth and bones will be affected. I don't understand Why don't they let him drink a bottle of milk. Soak the milk powder in water, put it in a bowl, and let him drink like water!

She passed last month I think from an infection
