[Quick number correction, Spiral Rose makes the roses themselves hit 5 times while Rosetta hits 10 times. So 25 total hits from spiral rose + (10 x (number of roses) x (number of targets)) = 145 hits assuming 3 grenades and the target. However, this still doesn't account for 2x Eugens not impacting damage much if at all. It's just speculation on my part, but the grenades might be getting hit significantly more than I thought (per frame?) and there's just a hit cap.

I first encountered the bug/interaction against Tayu'itar with 2 Vaseragas and an Eugen. I was curious about it, but didn't understand enough about the characters to know if they were the cause or if it was a bug. My second encounter with the bug had Eugen in the party which prompted me to find the missing link: his grenades.
Enjoy this short, low-budget guide to melting small bosses and pushing phases on large ones that requires a little coordination.
**Do NOT ask random pub Eugens to do this for you, they have to actively stop playing the game in order for this to work. Please let them enjoy the game normally.

This is HUGE for me since I'm actually working towards becoming a VA! This channel is mostly just for me to dump twitch vods and the occasional dumb thing but it looks like this one in particular popped off.
You've got a great voice for this style of video on top of the nice editing and presentation. Not that it's a long one to begin with but it helped getting me invested from start to finish lol

Admittedly I haven't gotten to looking at other characters yet but this would totally make sense. Any on-hit effect that doesn't apply direct damage probably goes crazy with this, it's just that Rosetta's is by far the flashiest and most impactful.
Honestly never really teamed with an Eugen since I normally play with friends but this interaction definitely makes me want to consider it in the future LOL

And some people say rosetta is bottom tier for not putting out damage lol. Thanks for this, been a rosetta main since I started the story and have her fully upgraded now including her terminus weapon!
Without this she is actually kinda low tho. main rosetta here, with almost maxed sigils (war elem, cap etc, only need minmaxing cd reduc). Yet i struggle to overcome percival (due to his bug), and io most of the time
Edit: not to mention how bad she is fighting against fast moving boss. If this patched up, she is done for 😂 (meh buff, meh dps, no cc, what the heck is she excel at in the first place). She is really fun to play tho ngl thats why i still play her occasionally

Just tested it with a couple friends - 2 Eugens didn't seem to increase the damage at all. I don't have many Rosetta friends so I can't test 3+ Rosettas, but my Rosetta friend was also landing hits on Protobaha so multiple Rosettas might be the way to go if you really want to push this to the limit. If it doesn't work at the same time, it can still work one after another!
I also wouldn't be surprised if someone went through the game with a REALLY fine toothed comb and learned that the math doesn't even apply and instead it hits the grenades per-frame. I did notice that the grenades can be whipped and it appears to give the same effect but for a much shorter time.
I can't really test it now but if people want to do the science, be my guest!

For some reason a lot of big body boss tend to eat up his nade hitbox making him unable to detonate them with normal shot

We'd need someone to take a deeper look into the interaction. After further investigation I'm under the impression that the grenades are actually getting hit far more than I assumed but at a capped rate. Got 2 Eugen friends against Tayu'itar and didn't notice an increase in damage.

Wait so if rosette has supplementary dmg then her dmg will go 20% more but her flower will get 100% more. That sounds crazy good.
Unfortunately Rosetta's roses don't benefit from on-hit effects like Supplementary damage 😔

question, sorry i'm kinda new to this game, what does rosetta hitting the grenades do? what does it change if she hits them or not?
Her buff grants an extra hit for her roses for every attack.
Every attack = every target hit
So hitting 4 targets trigger the extra hit 4x. So you get an obscene amount of extra hits with the grenades as an extra target.

iron maiden = 40
total = 70
with grenades as base 6
spiral =60
iron maiden = 60
yourself = 40 (10 from vines yourself + 30 from grenades)
160?
Spiral: 10 + 10x3 Roses
Iron Maiden: 10x3 Roses
Total 70
Add grenades:
Spiral hits 3 grenades 10x each
3 Roses attack 10x each for each grenade, adds 90 hits.

It can, but you really need to hope the AI works in your favor. I tried and watched Rosetta fumble around with rose positioning/skills.

@@vierparissThe cpu usually does a good job of shooting their own grenades. If the combo manages to go off, it's usually only for a brief moment.
@@dr.successful quick update, i was farming the firewyrm today and accidentally triggered this senior discount with my AI eugen. HP went down from 60 down to 45%. Its crazy good. Wish we could have the option of selecting AI actions.

No
It can be done with ai ros, but it’s not consistent. Not like you can tell your ai to hold the buff till dps phase so that’s why it wouldn’t be consistent, could still happen though
It is possible but random, i had this happen yesterday while farming proto offline but i don't think it was 3 grenade anyway.
