Haven't watched yet, but imma take Katalina, that group INV is so nice, I'll prob get creamed first till I learn the right moments to use it, but I think she'll perform well.
Vane (main), Percival, Lancelot, Siegfried. Very good synergy. Farm Proto Bahamut with three AI partners in 8-9 minutes. Only have Vane’s terminus weapon and one Supp damage IV+ and no war elemental after 100 hours of gameplay. Lots of fun
Yeah it’s frustrating for sure. I’ve gotten to a point in the last day or so to where I’m able to farm the last fight without some of the better sigils. It just would be nice to have them. At this rate I’ll have all the terminus weapons before I get a war elemental. I’ve got 6 of the weapons but the other 5 are for characters I don’t play.
For current content almost anything works just cap out your character potential before a fight, but for the upcoming raid boss I believe it is best your team have paralyze and slow utility, a failsave or saver type char like vane or kat and lastly enough dps to clear the objective on every damage check.
Lucilius will require dispel for his battle as he had a mechanic in the mobile that caused his attacks to become stronger unless you remove his stacks. They did implement his Labors into Relink.
Siegfried, Id, charlotta, Eugen. Serious dps. Debuff immunity, def bonuses, paralysis, heals, debuff enemy. Eugen probably the best dps healer hybrid. Probably can swap id and charlotta with Percival n Lancelot. Eugen can be swapped with Io. Dps will prob be lower.
I like running Eugen, Kat, and Lancelot with Ferry as my main. They do pretty well with paralyzing/freezing bosses. I've been debating if it's worth putting in Siegfried for one of them.
From my experience Lancelot and Katalina will occasionally overlap their freezes so I personally dislike having both on the same team. If you don't find yourself running into that issue then I'd say you're well prepared
in the beginning, how do you spend mastery? just focus one char and unlock all tree or spread them among other char or just pick skill that I want for companion and focus all point to my main? weapon upgrade too?
I'd say focus on getting one maxed or near max first so you can cruise through the game and then start branching into other characters. I initally spread out my masteries among 8 or 10characters but then I had a harder time once I hit the endgame and had to farm masteries for a bit
My team is build solely around Vane my main. I plan to buff his defense more by using damage cut skills from Charlotta and Captain, I also use Ferry for attack down stuff that her pets apply all the time. I might use Rosetta as well.
It seems like the performance of AI teammates differ from player to player. You said that Katalina doesn't make much use of skills for you, but she spams the heck out of Light Wall and Sacred Winds constantly for me.
I main Cag and use Rakam, Dancho and Lancelot as my party members. Pretty solid lineup, can probably swap Rakam with Eugen or Io for extra CC capabilities. Can't wait to GIVE PRAISE this march
One mechanic the Faa-san (Lucillius you might say) always had is, NEVER let him cast the 2nd Paradise Lost (probably his enrage like Proto Baha or Baha Versa) bcs you'll most likely getting wipe since he deals 99999 plain dmg (this mechanics is the same in the mobile version as well and the devs have told us too about these during their pre-release stream) Edit : and yes, all his skill attacks are hit like a truck, i wonder if we could cheese the fight by spamming Lancelot's cheese strat
Have they ever changed characters or sigils? I fear they might patch that interaction should they see that it breaks the game in a really boring way (probably capping the invincibility time to allow some hits to go through should you just mindlessly spam it)

It's hard to tell what the optimal team will be as we do not know the structure of the fight. If the dude is lvl 200, he'll have a lot of HP for sure, and probably will have some DPS Checks mechanics that will result in game over if not passed. Therefore, bringing too much defense/utility/survivability might not be necessary, especially if all party has guts + auto revive. My team will be 2 pure DPS (Zeta / Narmaya) one Tanky character (Siegfried) and one support with decent DPS. (The captain probably)
Def down is useless at endgame tho, since everyone would already be hitting dmg cap. Unless, they raise the def values of future content. My personal solo team is Eugen (me), Perceival, Lancelot and Rosetta. You can chain CC easily, Rosetta provides tons of survivability buffs and cleanse. The AI also uses these chars well. Compared to the rest. Edit: Crit rate buffs are useless too, as every endgame build will have 100% crit rate at max mastery with crit rate sigil + over mastery + wrightstone.
I've been running the following Djeeta Cag Katalina Eugen and if i'm running Cag as my main I just replace Cag with Ferry in her slot instead. For afk farms it doesn't matter who's lead but the team is X Rosetta Rackam Eugen Eugen is basically irreplaceable
Im tryna get Cap to do more dps. Cap just feels slow because of how his arts work. I’ll get it to 4 then spam all my abilities then wait for it all to cooldown while the awakened sigils lower it more as i build it up.
im treally sad that id has low dps it just doesn't make sense why they'd made him so cool and fun and make him look like he'll be dealing massive damage...when they didn't lol
It's hard to pinpoint the best characters for Lucilius as of now since he hasn't released yet and we have almost no information on how his fight is going to work.

For the new raid at the beginning i will most likely go a bit less dps and put some into defensive stats such as Stout Heart. And when im used to the boss i will go back full damage.
For all the people bringing Vane I hope you can actually block paradise lost and it won't just go through ramparts like skyfall does, for all my Vaseraga players just bring Undying and maybe netherwrath so your team doesn't insta-die to the Aoes or do what my friend group does and bring both and rotate your cooldowns so you can just sit inside the boss and emote when they do novas.
I'll be running Zeta (main), good ol Ferry as support, Lancelot to freeze...but instill dont know who to choose as last pick - cant decide between Vane and Sieg 😅 #help
I personally think SIeg is way better as an AI companion as I've never had my Vane put down his dome when the boss is doing mechanics, and you get some good buffs with Sieg
On the topic of Lucilius, I'm still currently holding back on unlocking characters I'm not planning to play. Because there is a really big chance that Lucilius will drop a new Weapon, even better than Terminus so players will have a reason to play his raid.
I run a team most probably not everyone will put together - Rosetta, Id, Eugen, Rackam. I built them exclusively and they've been carrying me to clear every single Proud quest. We've been through thick and thin haha. I used to main Id but now switched around as needed. Eugen is great to be main as well since I can see more area and deal good damage at a distance or close ranged. Rosetta always my MVP when she's AI and she's always the one running to help me when I'm down. Basically my AI team just carried me hard while I learn how to fight/dodge/guard and getting one shot KO almost every single time until I learn the boss mechanics. The reason why I really love this team is because of their unexpected funny dialogues exchanges during battles. Somehow the main characters that's in the story have better battle dialogues exchanges when fighting together as a team. I did put crewmate in their team but they didn't have those as much as when I put the main characters together. Everyone seems to go for which team is best for battles or meta highest damages etc, while me is enjoying the funny dialogues exchanges xD
@@You0nlyLiveonce I suggest you look at combo videos and learn some animation cancels and find the better strats for bosses etc He can definitely deal some insane burst dmg
@@You0nlyLiveonce honestly just use the usual good ai which are Eugen, Cag and another flex I guess The skills I usually go with unbound, scourge, never enough (you can replace for the projectile as it's a faster animation but I don't like that it can miss) and Ragnarok

Honestly unless something changes system wise... It really won't matter who you pick as long as you can dodge the attacks. Sure some characters like Vane circumvent mechanics in some forms... But I feel that it won't really matter too much in terms of utility since damage cap exists sadly. Maybe attack down would be helpful for this.. but if the boss is level 200 you will probably be one shot by anything he does regardless.
@@hutaosenpai Depends on the game. I am not a huge fan of "Screw up once, you die" end game design, but I have beaten all the available content in this game so far and now farm bahamut on auto pilot. In the end, I see WHY they design it this way, but it still feels lazy sometimes.

Slight correction. The Cag CPU never even casts her charged attack so never applies defense down on the boss, making her character sigil useless

Cagliostro Main, Vane, Gran, Katalina main team. 5th Percival sometimes. All DPS but with at least 1 of their cracked defensive buffs

True, but keep in mind Lucilius will be lv200. Def down WILL be useful.
u can also make it so ur characters cap on buffs/debuff and add rest of the stats to stun power and/or cooldown.

@@DeadlySon Except my 4 chars already have perfect builds, with max cooldowns secondary traits + guts and autorevive.
Def down is good for sba burst, it takes a lot of sigil farming to be completely damage capped

You can prevent him from entering another state by doing dodge cancels.
Yes, that's a very basic thing that I'm sure most understand. Yet the truth is he is sub par DPS because of his transformations
