because Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the seventh main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV, and the fifteenth instalment overall. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based on Southern California, the single-player story follows three protagonists-retired bank robber Michael De Santa (Ned Luke), street gangster Franklin Clinton (Shawn Fonteno), and drug dealer and gunrunner Trevor Philips (Steven Ogg), and their attempts to commit heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful criminals. Players freely roam San Andreas's open world countryside and fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles.
This anti cheat works so well. Making legitimate players lose their entire computers privacy by it having kernel driver level access being able to read all CPU instructions and easy privileged escalation. And the cheaters being able to kick people for the reason "you have been banned by battle eye" (You don't actually get banned). Great job Rockstar you did it we are so proud of you, you've stopped cheating and we're here for you.

The cheat detection guides have improved significantly. Before 'Battleeye,' cheaters were present in 9 out of 10 sessions, but after its implementation, only in 2 out of 10 sessions. A significant improvement! Hold off on judgment for now.
Even from a cheater’s perspective, I don’t even see how this is from. And I do mean a cheater’s perspective. Admittedly I sometimes cheat in games. But this doesn’t look appealing at all. I genuinely feel kind of bad for legit players of this game. This is awful.
I’ve only played this on Xbox and out of hundreds of encounters only came across one player who seemed to be likely cheating (didn’t seem to take hardly any damage to heavy guns or explosives). PC definitely has it’s advantages when it comes to gaming, but thankfully cheating isn’t nearly as prevalent on consoles.
I hope GTA VI has dedicated servers and all of this crap ends. If R* is really taking there time for the next game , i hope it’s about making the online safe.
Yeah, I'm not surprised. If Rockstar still insists to stick to Peer-to-peer sessions, which allegedly they'd do the same with GTA 6, then I'm not holding my breath when it comes to security. If they won't bother spend a sliver of their income to host proper servers, no way are they gonna have proper protection.
I'd say it probably trimmed and deterred all the little kids and casual modders that don't want to get caught, but in turn tryhard modders and paid mod menus will rise.
Yes and no, it's better than before, not every lobby is filled with modders but the problem is still existing. I've also seen a modder getting banned life today, so there's definitely something going on. Hopefully the future brings more battleye updates and maybe some day, no more modders.
I used to have Flawless Widescreen. Being using it for 3 years and it doesn't work anymore. I have never been so sad lol. Cant even imagine how Linux and Steam Deck users feel.
This is the way I do it, console is for “legit” online gameplay (except for the zens and xims you can go drive off mount chilliad) and pc is for fiveM I will never trust some nasally sounding neckbeard in a pc online server unless you have a good VPN.
Well, y'know, I just wish for modders to kindly and gently limit themselves to singleplayer. Unless it's really appealing and fun for them to make other players' experience literal hell, which I guess is equal to being sociopath, but that's a different subject. I don't even know at this point if I should be happy they don't break into private lobbies, or be afraid to play GTA online, cuz one day they may find out the way to break into my friends only lobby and make me completely abandon the game :/ Not fun, guys, not fun at all. I understand bullying griefers, but casual players? Tch.
This shit is so hilarious to watch at but not when you're in the situation.. and yup the entire day had modders but not like it was before. Switch lobbies couple times and no modders were present.
All I (and alot of other people) did was chill out in solo or friend sessions with people we like using graphics mods and improving our quality of lives with the mod menu(s). Now its gone. The game is ugly as fvck, it has less performance becouse of BattlEye, innocent who did nothing dont just get banned (like before) they now get hardware banned, and the toxic modders are the only ones who stayed. Almost every passive and/or friendly modder is gone. Thanks Rockstar. you ruined everything good and made everything bad even worse.

Ha. Sometimes you want to have a piece of that chaos yourself. It's fun in its own way.
It will never end cheating is endless.
because Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.
R* has irritated modders. Now u can't survive public lobby for 3 secs.
Ever since this Battleye announcement. Every single modder said, "bet"
How long before modders find a back door to get players pc data is what I'd be concerned about
I was waiting for this type of video
Good work!!
At this point gta online cant be fixed!
Rockstar: have you tried changing lobby’s?😅
Battle Eye ❌ Blind Eye 🥴👍
"Did you do it?"
"Yes."
"What did it cost?"
"Linux."
Just a reply i made to some comment, though it might be interesting as a comment itself :
" dedicated servers would indeed not have such problems (ofcourse given that they validate client requests properly, i.e. drop requests that shouldn't be possible/permitted given a certain context), and so you would get rid of all these griefing cheats like teleporting players, god mode, money drops, spawning stuff, etc... . What you would still have, is stuff like wallhacks and aimbots (although it is still feasable to get rid of both, but it comes at a cost (more server-side computations) which rockstar clearly doesn't want). And so as mentioned, the only thing stopping rockstar from doing all this, is the huge cost that would come from all these server-side checks they would need to have, and from a business stand point, it's not worth doing, since the PC user base is negligible in size compared to the consoles and such a mechanism is unnecessary for consoles anyways, since the platforms themselves are trusted. Some other mechanisms can be implemented even with the current peer to peer infrastructure, but maybe rockstar hasn't thought of them yet ^_^ "
The cheat detection guides have improved significantly. Before 'Battleeye,' cheaters were present in 9 out of 10 sessions, but after its implementation, only in 2 out of 10 sessions. A significant improvement! Hold off on judgment for now.
linux and steam deck support died for this LMAO
This video made me laugh didn’t know about the very specific things modders do to other players to troll them
GTAO public lobby is still a cesspool since the fine year of 2013
Even from a cheater’s perspective, I don’t even see how this is from. And I do mean a cheater’s perspective. Admittedly I sometimes cheat in games. But this doesn’t look appealing at all. I genuinely feel kind of bad for legit players of this game. This is awful.
When everyone gets teleported to the beach it’s funny the first 2 times but like that shit gets annoying real quick
it is annoying how modders teleported you but it's so funny at the same time.
BattlEye was and still is failure in every game I played.
Battle eye more like wasted eye
You forgot modders crashing your game or kicking you of the server in the best of the cases... Man this is sad.
Me: *Selling Acid*
*Battle Eye requires an update*
I hope GTA VI has dedicated servers and all of this crap ends.
If R* is really taking there time for the next game , i hope it’s about making the online safe.
Lets see if they add some monthly payment for users to play online
Its crazy how much power the mod menus have, i havent met a single one this powerful tho
I bet it is gonna punish way more regular players than actual cheaters. And they'll still be an issue
7:44 I thought you got away at that moment 😂😂😂
yeah, I was almost starting to relax lol
Another comment THE TP TO PLAY GOLF AND YOU WENT ALONG WITH IT GOT ME DEAD
Yes and no, it's better than before, not every lobby is filled with modders but the problem is still existing. I've also seen a modder getting banned life today, so there's definitely something going on. Hopefully the future brings more battleye updates and maybe some day, no more modders.
you know the anticheat is non-existent when modders have this much controll over the game
I used to have Flawless Widescreen. Being using it for 3 years and it doesn't work anymore. I have never been so sad lol. Cant even imagine how Linux and Steam Deck users feel.
We feel like shit. Those fucker didn’t even give us a heads up. I couldn’t even sell the cargos
5:52 agent 4: okay how about we run? smoke appears: current objective:R U N
This is the way I do it, console is for “legit” online gameplay (except for the zens and xims you can go drive off mount chilliad) and pc is for fiveM I will never trust some nasally sounding neckbeard in a pc online server unless you have a good VPN.
i had a sharp feeling as soon as everyone spawned at the beach a huge purge would unfold. my gut feeling was right.
I have a feeling that cheaters will be even more aggressive just to give R* a middle finger
Nope lol you got that answer
yeah... seems like battleye didn't fix it lol
Didn't they already bypass battleye?
yep, turned the video from "look how it used to be" to "look how bad it still is" [sad lol]
@@whatever57010 lmao. What a great fiasco once again.
And people say we lie about the anti cheat not working and oh still calls us Linux users cheaters
It would be better if they just removed the anticheat, like it brings only problems and little to no solutions
I died when the whole session spawn at the beach
Lost my ability to play, but modders get let in free.
Rockstar's online games are going from bad to worse in terms of quality...
It's really pitiful that people keep playing this game.
The whole lobby was there LMAO
Even though this is for PC users, I'm glad I'm on console and I just go into invite only sessions so I can do my businesses without this bs happening.
Seems like it will never be
the more important question is "will GTA 6 online be safe?"
@@whatever57010 this was a testing ground for gta 6 for sure
@@madhunter6420 then this failure makes me worried
@@whatever57010Never.
Havent ya played since from 2009?
GTA 4 mp was like this.
Anti-cheat doesn't work as it should and PC players are treated to disaster.
Tch.
I haven’t played gta for while but the situation got worse from what im seeing
Those are not hackers, it's just the Rockstar Vision®
I'm sad that I still want to play because I really enjoy GTA, but it's discouraging every single day
this happened when modders have Menyoo trainer or rampage trainer
We paid Rockstar $8.6 billion USD and all we got is lowered FPS and lobbies filled with AIDS😐
This shit is so hilarious to watch at but not when you're in the situation.. and yup the entire day had modders but not like it was before. Switch lobbies couple times and no modders were present.
For some reason i rarely meet hackers on gta online
Still playing this is what's crazy
All I (and alot of other people) did was chill out in solo or friend sessions with people we like using graphics mods and improving our quality of lives with the mod menu(s). Now its gone.
The game is ugly as fvck, it has less performance becouse of BattlEye, innocent who did nothing dont just get banned (like before) they now get hardware banned, and the toxic modders are the only ones who stayed. Almost every passive and/or friendly modder is gone.
Thanks Rockstar. you ruined everything good and made everything bad even worse.
End of cheating, nah. End of linux+steamdeck gtas? Yes
This anti-cheat program should work on all consoles every year. Everyone else who were affected by cheaters will be safe from now on.
3:28 Let's play golf ⛳️
You're on PC so, I'm not surprised.
I think me and my buddy are the only two lagit players in GTA online for PC. I'd be hard pressed to believe anyone that would try to convince me otherwise.
I would like an offline mode for Online. So I can play the Online Story DLCs
I want that too
@@whatever57010 We'll never get that. So no trying to well hope G for one so.
You ain't getting it untill Gta 6 multiplayer releases. But after that i think they will abandon the original GTA online.
there is some way to play on public but without users, I guess it was a program that change some settings for pc, its the guardian
I'm seriously starting to believe that battleye is a front for laundering money. You know how much fucking money they charge to let you put it in your game? And it doesnt even work.
i miss the windmill that was spawned
Glad so see it’s been completely and totally fixed. 😢
losers cheat in gta
