Tap break, minimal steering, control the throttle so u don't put too much wheel spin. Get that 1 bar micro drifting, as you exit you get the three bar grip turn, ending up with 4 burst nos in total.
best video on explaining how to micro drift I've watch all these other videos about how to micro drifting & none of them explain how to micro drift all they do is just talk about it which dosent help me till now .
Great video as always. Microdrifting is so difficult to understand if you don't know how to do it and very easy to experiment with once you get the hang of it. I encourage every player to start practicing and don't be afraid to mess up because it's more than worth it.
I recently got a series Xbox and playing unbound for a month this video was probably the most helpful
Love the way ur showing the controller on screen
I just subscribed
You’re the shit!!! I’m beating people I never would have beat before. Micro drifting and Tron turns = success and speed.
These tutorials are great and they've improved my game a lot thanks man
WHAT A VIDEO! This will surely improve my microdrifting! Thank you!
@AlexCornnut Great, detailed description of this. . .Thank you bro, you are unequivocally an UNBOUND Legend.
Finally video came thanks a lot boi
Nice tutorial Alex, I think you explained it well.
I believe a great and helpful video would be to make a beginners first car loadout tutorial. As a beginner I made a mistake of trying to save up for only the meta cars for every class like Regera, F40, RSR, Skyline 2000 meanwhile I had a garage full of free cars which are already really good. Like B class Foxbody, A class Focus RS, A+ class M1 or 488 GTB, S class M4 GTS, S+ Murcielago. A beginner does not know which cars are good and they waste time grinding for only the top meta cars which are expensive or locked while they could cheaply build what they already have in the garage to make them get started. Just an idea.
💯
I think the old skyline is the only meta car you can't find a substitute for. You can easily win other s tier races with the murci. A tier exige is a good short track car too.
How to unlock free murcielago?
@@defnotatroll I believe you can win the murcielago in the very last week of story mode.
Thanks Alex this helps a lot i just gotta practice it all day
Great video, TY brother.
You just made me realise that since I use the Switch Pro controller on my PC to play NFS, I can't apply varying levels of force to the throttle/break as the pro controller doesn't have analogue triggers... I didn't realise this was a thing... I feel like such a noob.
TY again!
great guide, i understand everything perfectly but i prefer to hold my left stick then taping because i'm more use to it^^ keep the grind going🔥
I'm like you dude, I don't tap but ever so slightly push my left thumb stick... but I think it's a preference. But shoutout to Cornnut bc I've been trying to explain this to the other guys I race with and they don't get it and this video has been the best explanation I've seen. Great tutorial!
learning to do this now 💪🔥🎮
Great guide even though I already got the hang of it!
Concise, informative with examples and counter-examples... I mean the video is just great. Fantastic job !
Tnx useful
I did it almost first try with the one drift but I got the grip part at the end down pack
That should be teached at schools! 👍
I’d love to race you or your team so I can see how slow I really am. I’m killing people on Apex Predator with the 22 Porche Taycan Turbo in S+, but I’m nowhere near 4:30, that just tells me the people I’m racing suck.
Now with the tron turns and micro drifting I’m starting to really get better. This girl/player whooped me today in A+, both with your RSR build, and she just Tronned me to death. lol it was awesome. I friend requested her immediately after.
Am I correct in assuming we are using the Auxiliary Boost Drift and Auxiliary Boost Grip in the car build?
Yes that's correct
Thank you! You are a very good teacher . Can’t wait to practice your technique. Awesome!
Im assuming the brake to drift is active, or is it gas tap to drift
Brake to drift
Is this technique doable on a keyboard cuz I'm playing on pc
Yes it definitely can be done on keyboard. Lots of keyboard players use this all the time.
I spent all my money buying the cars you recommended this s### better work😂😂😂
Lol 😆
If it doesn't that is a skill issue. Not a car problem
oh thats harsh... but true :)@@alexcornnut
@@gam0t0 all love brother. Good luck 🤞
on point guide, great explanations paired with videos
One thing I'm not understanding is what grip/drift build you're using, what setting you have the the steering sensitivity at. That's like setting a lap record for said car, but won't reveal the build you made to trigger vehicle behavior like that which is wasting time. Need more info on that because i was utilizing throttle control like you were applying and recieved the total opposite. Tbh this game is borderline unplayable probably the worst in the series.
I already have a build for that car on the channel & I use this technique with all my race builds.
This is not some hidden magic.
@alexcornnut but the drifting is so on and off that car control is impossible. I tried doing micro drifting the 19' Ford Mustang GT 5.0 and didn't achieved the same results. Been at it for 5 hours and no results been around the map still can't achieve micro drifting due to terrible physics.
So I don't know if micro drifting only applies to the one that's showcased here or all cars.
@@capcomblue1994 Micro Drifting can be done in ANY CAR.
I have driven every car in the game and ALL of them will micro drift.
You must be doing it incorrectly.
I also know the 19' Mustang will microdrift no problem.
Gl doing that on keyboard heh
Okay, that's fine, but it's never done that precisely on the keyboard. This causes it to never be done. If anyone can do it, please teach :)
You need to use the tap to steer method if using keyboard.
It's more difficult but it can be done for sure. A few of the guys in the Cornnut Crew play on Keyboard and manage to microdrift just like everyone else
@@alexcornnut I know you don't play this game anymore so I won't ask any more questions. We are trying it with my brother, but it is a very difficult method. I will keep trying. thanks.
I'm guessing it's not possible for keyboard players
It's much more difficult, but not impossible
I assume lowering stearing on cars helps with that but im not sure tbh haha
