Dear GM Suleymenov: congratultions on your wonderful and beautful victory over GM Carlsen!
It was not a big thing. Magnus just didn't perform well and he said why. So ... in my opinion nothing to be proud of.
he’s definitely going to see this comment
@@raidri_conchobair gonna cry? carlsen is one of the greatest chess player its just normal for people to be proud if they beat him. im pretty sure you will never beat magnus even if he can't concentrate on the game. you're just salty someone beats your daddy magnus in a game pathetic.
@@raidri_conchobair😂
@@ammarbenvrt6931 It's a fact ö.ö
Carlsen spent the night playing video games, arrived tired and clearly grumpy, accuses the other player cheating. Classic.
Where did he accuse him of cheating? Carlsen clarified Suleymenov played amazing and it wasn't cheating or anything. This is the problem with the chess world and the world in general, probably didn't even read the tweets Carlsen wrote people probably just concluded that cause of clickbait headlines
We don’t see magnus lose like this every day 😅😅😅
What a game !!!!!!!!!
I've never seen Magnus lose like this in a classical game ever.
I think the random guy was using vibrating anal beads to beat Magnus.
You will if you watch this video every 24 hours.
well at least this time Magnus didn't mentally boom with a cheating accusation lmao
He was literally turned into a noob
If magnus wins, ppl say just another tuesday for magnus
If magnus loses, ppl say opponent cheated.
Comeon guys give due respect to the other guy as well.
Because it’s not easy to win against magnus
Few people only defeated Magnus, and he has joined the ranks of Hikaru and Wesley So who had moments when they defeated Magnus.
How can you cheat in chess?
@@al_chargedupWhen you're pretty much above even 2300 even with hint that there is winning idea the player would find it very quickly and 2500 GM especially. There was no broadcast delay. The problem is, watches aren't allowed also there were people in the room with smartphones even some taking pictures (which is not ok). You don't really need to be told specific move at that level, just to know it exists is enough.
@@bgmaster8557everything you said is right but in this case it doesn't apply because every move in the game is not hard to find. I'm 1900 USCF and I would play almost every move the same except Ng5. I would miss that one.
The last time magnus got crushed like this, someone filed a 100 Million lawsuit 😂😂
What?
I think he talks about Hans Niemann.
Hans didn't crush him. It was a poor game with a lot of mistakes by both sides
Nieman barely won up a pawn
Nope, this is worst.

This shock defeat is Carlsen's worst loss in rating terms in 15 years, to a 327-point-lower-rated Suleymenov
in which event and against whom was his previous worst loss?
Vokhidov (back when he was 2300) beat him at a blitz world championship.
Vohkidov also beat Hans a couple months back.

Extremely comforting that even Magnus has a bad day like this from time to time. This is what I love about chess. You can observe these giants in real life. Happy when they win, suffer in defeat.
Bad day for him is he got cheated lol
Same in every sport, not only chess!
@@LarryKnipfing you are right, but chess is the only sport that I can relate to :-)
@@xpact83escuses. Its a mere speculation, there is no proof.
Magnus is playing other Grandmasters. They are all very strong, experienced players and if you take them lightly or get a passive, poor position against them then they are very capable of smokin' you just like happened here. A bad day at the office for Magnus - nothing more, nothing less. Magnus now knows he is not above a whuppin' !!
😂
GM does not egual GM. A 2800 rated GM plays in a different league than a 2500 rated GM. its the same ability dominance as if you are 1800 rated and you play against 2400 rated players. this one was a huge loss and a strong abnormally.
@TheGrandmasterMan Thank you for saying this! Yes, there is a 250+ rating point gap, but the guy playing the white pieces still has the letters GM before his name for a reason. Chess Don't Lie. If you play sub optimal moves, even if you're a World Champion, you can lose. It speaks to Carlsen's greatness that most of the time he can outplay world class GMs from dead even positions. Congratulations to GM Alisher Suleymenov on a well played game! 👍
@@expat_adventuresin terms of game performance there's much more difference between 1800 and 2400 than between 2500 and 2800.
I don't think that Suleymenov cheated - But chess tournaments still need to improve the security for the sake of the game.

he did look pretty suspicious and at the end of the day how hard is it to take off a watch?

Problems for Magnus starting at 7:22, should have moved the other knight to g6.
Now white has a crushing attack after putting his knight on g5 and then the brilliant pawn push to e5.

While it's not totally abnormal for Carlsen to have a bad day, this is completely without precedent, he has never lost to someone 300+ points beneath his rating since as far back as I can remember.
20 years.
He almost never plays someone with that rating outside the World Cup. How many open tournaments has he played in the last 10 years.
Magnus's body language near the end says it all
Nxf7, Rxd5 and Nh6 all nice moves however, Nxf7 is like engine moves positional sacrifice
If Magnus had any reservations about his opponent’s watch or spectators he could have raised his concerns with the arbiter at start of game. Otherwise he just looks like he is whining every time he loses to someone he feels he shouldnt. The Nf7 sac is thematic and any young GM would go for it.
He did actually talk to arbiter but they incorrectly (according to FIDE rules) said that watches were allowed as long as they weren’t digital
He did wear a shirt stating Mission Zero!

Good boy Alisher
Alisher Suleymenov made a breathtaking longterm-sacrifice at move #17 Nxf7!! Kxf7
forcing Black to resign on move #31.
Next time Hans plays Magnus he should pull his sleeves down to reveal like 10 watches.
The biggest mistake of Magnus was several weeks before. He should have agreed to play tournaments only with conditions securing game without any gadget on players and in the playing hall. For this tournament anti-chrating measures on the scale 1 to 10 were -3. Listen for example what is GM Shimanov sayin on Levitov chess (in Russian) about anti-cheating measures in this tournament.
A ring, a watch and a band…sneaky
yeah, adjusting that watch at 0:29 was important.

Honestly, I don't want to take credit away from this kid but for this tournament to allow players to wear wrist watches, rings, bracelets, and also have spectators walking by only a few feet away is pretty ridiculous...
Well, Magnus should not complain after the fact. If he finds the watch or ring suspicious, then he should take action beforehand.
