The Narada was powerful enough in the 2380s to abuse the Enterprise E, according to the "official" Countdown Comic Book, put out by JJ as the prequel to the film. That said, nothing JJ has ever done made any sense if one thought about it for more than five seconds.
This is just one of many issues I had with the JJ verse. The damn thing was a mining vessel and should not have been able to inflict that much damage against a starship.
I honestly believe that the Enterprise D should be able to take the Narada in a 1 vs 1 without too much trouble. My reasoning is that there is no way in hell that a Romulan mining ship could be more powerful than a D'Deridex, let alone a Valdore or Scimitar, even with Borg enhanced weaponry (even 29th century Borg enhancements couldn't make Voyager a match for a 24th century Sphere). The Galaxy was capable of dealing with a D'Deridex, although 2 warbirds got Jean Luc worried.
I laughed when it showed the TOS E crashing into the Enterprise-F and causing the game to crash. Yeah the Narada is really weak compared to other ships. The only way it was able to take out a Federation fleet at Vulcan was because it was from the late 24th Century so yeah... I also laughed when you collided with another ship lol.
I get that a mining vessel of the 24th century would be able to defeat a starship from the 23rd century given the technological gap. But it would definitely be no match for the Enterprise F. Why would it ever make sense for a mining ship to defeat a Federation battleship? I love these videos but the unbalancing in this game can be ridiculous at times.
"The game crashed"; yeah, after you did =p Also, does the Narada look weirdly Vorlon in the thumbnail? (And AFAIK, the Narada was a mining ship that essentially slapped on some Borg tech (borrowed the Artifact?); I mean, pretty sure Romulan mining ships don't look like spikey death metal mollusks the size of a starbase.)
Well I think the romulans should get rid of there war birds and just make mining ships lol. Realistically the enterprise E should have made romulan ale out of her by herself.....buts thats just my humble HUUUMON opinion 😅🖖
I wonder if you rammed a cloaked Enterprise-G at the end there. As there was a suspicious cloaking sound in there as well. Also New head canon as to why the game crashed. When the OG Enterprise rammed into the F, and destroyed itself, It didn't yet have the Legacy that would have had it's registry carried on. causing all the other ones to cease to exist.
@@DanBen07 in I think a prequel comic the spikes were the results of borg tech being put into the ship with the oringal ship being like a third of the size
Nice...buggy(?) Showcase😅 Every Canon Enterprose? No JJprise, no Disco Enterprise? (I'd ask where the Declaration Class Enterprise was (from ST TMP), but...well, her BC version has no weapons...😅) (Also, a mining ship heavily updated with Borg Influenced Tech, lol)😂
The only ship that feels like Star Trek since the Constitution class is the USS Vengeance Dreadnought class. I can't make sense of making ships look aerodynamic in space.
I was wondering why in the beginning you said it was "an absolute beast." It's well established that the Narada is a mining vessel. For that reason, this video gets a thumbs down.
What was the Narada made of? 50% plot armor and another 50% lens flare...
And it was powered by a plot device. 😉
🤣🤣🤣

1:10 since the USS Enterprise C has been implicated, Retro Badger is hereby ordered to report to temporal investigations on the double.
Original Connie rams the F, and the F was like...wtf was that.
The Narada started out as nothing more than a mining vessel but it was given stolen Borg assimilation technology which turned it into the ship we saw

“Don’t tell them you (crashed into the Enterprise-F), you’ll never live it down!” The Narada’s ugly as sin.
Worf be like: “prepare for ramming speed!”

Thought Nero's ship would be bigger, but wow results.
Pit the Narada against Dominion forces.

Neither result was a surprise to me. It's a Mining vessel.

sheeeeeeeeet I think the G alone would be enough, hell, probably even the D. The F should completely mop the floor in universe wise.
Plot Armor, the Narada is made out of plot armor.
Would love to see the replicator ship vs the Narada.
A Romulan ship immediately going for the C? Typical.
have you done the battle of proceon 5
The E alone should be able to stomp a mudhole in a "simple mining vessel". The JJverse has no sense of scale and putting that to power.
The Narada have in the normal Bridge Commander?,Remaster is have too weak ships i hope one day you recreate the Vulcan Battle
I am working on WC's JJ Fleet to be updated with their original weapons for BC RE, so this might be doable sooner than later.😅
Request, always wanted to see The Nerada vs The Scimitar!
Kirk dranked too much of that Romulan Ale and rammed into the Enterprise F.
"a simple mining vessel" Enterprise C and up should've been more than a match for it imo

Could you use tractor beams to make it more difficult to hit you with that beast weapon
I liked that movie but they *could* have used a borgy D'Deridex..
Not sure what behind the scenes plot reasoning was given, but a mining vessel from the 24th century shouldn’t be that powerful. A fun movie though
There definitly wasnt any behind the scenes plot reasoning lol
Question, are the JJ Connie’s cannon? And was the new Enterprise G in this?
Can you make a video where you put this up against vorlon or shadow vessels from Babylon 5.

The Kelvin verse Enterprise was able to no-sell those torpedoes by shooting them all down with their excellent point defences.
yeah remastered dosnt like animated textures very much lol
a mining ship shouldnt even be able to take on the enterprise d
Gotta remember that it’s the Romulans they’re dealing with. I’m not surprised at all that it was packing hundreds of torpedoes.

Daaamn! That thing is waaay too strong for a mining ship. Even the Romulan warships aren't THAT strong.
It's from 2387 after dominion war, right after Romulus was destroyed. In normal dimension not jjverse. Also borg enhanced.
we need the Narada vs every Sci-FI because NOBODY wants that FUGLY ship in their show LOL.
I feel bad for the original enterprise. :(

The Narada was from 2387
do the same for the Scimitar, please
The Narada has very weak torpedoes.
It should have been enterpise e or f Era. No way a mining ship would even be close to a warship. I would think anything c and up should own it.
The borg tech I get making it on par with some cruisers but not the level of the galaxy atleast
