I concur with your assessment. Voyager has similar firepower to a standard galaxy, but though its shields are more advanced they don't have as much endurance in battle. It's speed and maneuverability makes up for it though. Good battle!
Thank you. Makes sense though right? I have noticed in a lot of ST groups it is quite an argument. Sad that fans get ugly about it. But unfortunately both ST and SW have a large toxic fan base. Anyway, I have new content coming soon. Thanks for watching and hope to see you back in the comments section. :D
@@justwingitsa tell me about it. I even mention that an Intrepid class could be a heavy cruiser and people get so offended sometimes. Like nevermind it is bigger than a connie. Nevermind its near identical mission profile. Nevermind it is quite well armed for defense. Nope. It is a smaller ship that was commanded by a woman it couldn't possibly be. In addition to toxicity I have also noticed a strong undercurrent of sexism.
@@02ujtb00626 or could it be that in the actual show the Intrepid class was a deep space science vessel with only 50+ torpedoes. I'm not denying it's an awesome ship, and Janway was formidable, but the ship in the game is not the same as the ship in the show.
I have actually done the reverse before. Problem is, Voyager changes to the tri-cobalt devices... Which is an instant kill. I had disabled the tri-cobalt as well and although I did defeat Voyager, the Galaxy class was basically unsalavagable. Remember that the Enterprise D was never upgraded with anti-borg tech. And Voyagers warp core and computer system is far more advanced. Phaser banks are the same (although Voyager can boost theirs higher due to their warp core) and Voyager has the MKVII torpedoes as well. Voyager has more effective shields (watch how Voyager takes on a tactical cube vs how the Ent D took on a standard cube). I think in general people assume the Galaxy is far more powerful because of its size but they never take into consideration the tech differences between ships.

I think the A.I. was doing its usual rubbish job.
If you did that battle in reverse you would destroy the Intrepid class much faster.
