I've been a photographer doing quinces and Weddings since 2008. Never would I tell a client to have low expectation for their photo shoot. My job is to plan the best shoot possible and have my client excited about the shoot. I get the best pictures when my client is an enthusiastic participant. It's all about communication. Don't just show up on the day off. You should be speaking to your client a few times before the event to get ready for the shoot, you should scout the location and pre-plan your poses. Planning is the key. Don't just show up and start shooting, plan out her prtincipal shoot, the party, the ceremonies, everything and you will always do a great job.
This was not a good expectation vs reality video. It seems like a video focused more on the company GDL. The host seemed to know more about what she was trying to say rather than the photog just repeating the same thing over and over again while trying to get more clients to reach out to him. Video title should be renamed to Why You Should Choose GDL Photo and Video
I love your videos they have been an amazing help because my mom is planning 8 months before the actual day of my Quince and it been so much fun going in to stores and seeing how we can do a bunch of DIY things because my mom is a very talented woman and knows how to do so much but anyways 😆I love your videos and thank you so much for posting them there are a huge help
Im having a quince in feburary and we just started planning it (we've been trying to plan it since July but we couldn't find a church and now I'm not even going to have a church even though I wanted one) and we already have a photographer but like most photographers he wants to do a photo shoot in my hair, make up, and dress (the way I would look on the day of my quince) at least 1 month before the actual day but my problem is that it will be in January when its really cold here (I live in NC).What should I do?! How can I do a photo shoot in the winter in my dress without freezing? Any advice?
Is a quince a ethnicity/cultural thing I’m turning 15 in a year and I wanted to know if a quince was the right idea because I’m Caribbean and I don’t want to cultural appropriate or get backlash.
@@vyonapierre2540 if you are from the Caribbean than it shouldn't be a problem because that is also part of their culture (I am from the Caribbean a.k.a Hispanic and Latin and everyone does it). Also even if you weren't it shouldn't be a problem. I think everyone should have the pleasure of having something so beautiful as a quince if they choose to do so. I don't see why non Latinos shouldn't be able to do it.
quinceaneraexpo awesome thanks! My wife and I just started not too long ago. We’re on Facebook and IG as Oceansun Media (had to put that plug in) lol thanks again
Sorry, I disagree. The photographer should be professional enough adapt to the customer needs or style, If a photographer has a very specific style it only means he is limiting himself to what he or she can do for their customers.
I disagree. Lots of photographers has a different style or taste because it's their brand, they're making a name for themselves and if they're doing something that they're not comfortable with or doesn't match with their style, it could look horrible, for example, if they have an Instagram page, and their photo edits are more warm and dreamy, and then having a bright and airy photo on their feed will screw it up. When customers choose a photographer, then they have to like their way of editing or they can choose someone else.
I just did a Quince young lady today and omg it was a lot harder than I imagined. The client wasnt happy either, but she liked two or three photos. I hope to get better with these tips 🥲 it was hard to not do well.
