When she said "Yes, we mean every trooper!" at the beginning, I was expecting them to go:
"This right here, that's Steve. He has a wife and two kids..."
That got a chuckle out of me. 😂
He's served the empire faithfully, and has only 3 weeks before retirement...

It took me a minute to get what you meant

They don't mean the legends one tho, which are they coolest.
Cant forget Gary the Stormtrooper!
Gud Mane 😂😂😂
For a moment I thought it might be just that... and I kinda wish it was!
I love how they sound like people bullshitting their way through a wine tasting by using the same descriptors.
Right..... every storm trooper vaguely described visually, plus bonus weak anecdotes!

Simplicity is often the most effective choice.
Sith Trooper had more screen time in this video than the Rise of Skywalker
such a cool design, should've been seen more tbh
Captain Phasma, what a waste of an incredible design on a character that added 0 to the story.
We should throw her into the Trash compactor.
Captain Phasma looks like a droid 😆
They Boba Fett’d her so hard
Welcome to #Disney's 'contribution'
@@samlewis3555 At least they're making his story more badass with The Mandalorian. The new trilogy made all the villains super weak. They killed off Snoke like it was nothing, made Kylo an emo that eventually becomes the good guy (I think? I honestly can't remember) and kill off Captain Phasma the first time she battles.
They never take any time to show how badass the villains are in order to make you feel like it'll be tough/impossible to beat them. This is especially beneficial, since it gives more gravity and impact when the good guy succeeds.

She works for Disney. No other way you can mistake that unless you just care
Yes its the famous @-@ Pilot who doesn't know them?
It was soposed to be said like that but people said a t a t
Cinema Wins says @-@
That’s what my family has always called them since we were kids: “At At.”
For every single one: "the cool and unique thing about this trooper is that it's specially suited for its environment"
“Red denotes captain”
Captain Rex: I can explain
All of Anakin's troop were blue. Captain Rex also still had the Captains marking just in Anakin's signature blue.
In Phase 1 designs the clones weren't really affiliated with individual legions, just the plane basic, but as new legions were made with their synthetic colours, such as Anakin's 501st Legion with the blue, the ranks weren't really shown.
Red is Commander in the Empire.
Red denoted captain during phase I, phase II is different when it comes to divisions.
FrostBreath Captain Rex still has his officer Shoulder pad that signified his rank
How the heck did they forget about the LEGO Star Wars swimsuit troopers
Beats me
This should be classified as crimes against humanity
they did say live action films
No dignity
I remember them being called beach troopers, which have sadly been replaced by the troopers in rouge one. Rip speedo trooper
I think we can all agree that the stormtrooper design is still to this day some of the coolest costuming in Cinema history.
Guys I think the troopers were designed to fit the environment

well at-least it isn't Commieflage...(sorry poor capitalism vs communism joke.... although socialism really is a good fair balance since everyone ends up in debt to a few people if the capitalism is allowed to turn into pure chaos)
even atop a walking murder machine camouflage has its purpose if people are busy shooting at the metal death walkers and not the pilot, its a win win for the pilot until he can hide or get out or flat out win the combat lol, ideally avoided the inevitable horrors of getting shot and leaving a pilot-less vehicle just sitting their like a tempting target to hijack or knock over like cow tipping with death machines for lawls
Lol
ARF troopers but yes
I always thought the red guards were supposed to invoke thoughts of the Cardinals surrounding the Pope

My brain: Imperial guards dressed in red because of red being historically an imperial/royal color...
-Actually due to George's love for hot rods
Okay then!
Well Purple historically in europe was the most royal/imperial colour before you get industrialisation due to it being one of the rarest and most expensive dyes.
Would of liked to see some dark purple designs at some point
Marcus McCabe
But red makes more sense due to the connection to the Sith.
Screenrant?
Marcus McCabe I think red still makes more sense given George’s affinity for samurai culture and movies, considering red is the definitive color of the empire in China.

What's really funny is how Obi Wan remarked at the sandcrawler that "Only Imperial Stormtroopers are this precise." and then the Stormtroopers spend the rest of the movie not being able to hit the broad side of a barn.
On tantive 4 they have a kill ratio of 5 to 1
The rest of the film they're shooting at the 3 main cast members.
They slaughtered the rebels on the Tantive IV. Then in TESB they defeated the rebels on Hoth. The rest of the film they were shooting at the main cast.
No excuse for being slaughtered by teddy bears in ROTJ though.
They were pretty good at killing no name rebels in Rogue One too. No Rebel survivors in that one.
Sadly The Mandalorian made them a complete joke.
Stormtroopers are an elite imperial force. They had advanced training and could easily wipe out any rebels they found.

Yea, I mean look at those stormtrooper variations in Solo, they look amazing! Would’ve been cool to see those thrown into the crowd of Shore and Normal troopers we see in the Mandolorian to show the empire was truly on their last legs!
Also Personally I think the sequel special troopers (Riot, Electro, etc) (excluding Jet, Snow and Sith, those are amazing designs that deserved more screen time ): ) should be a bit more distinctive, but they’re cool either way, wish we got to see more of those melee weapons D:

3:38 says AT AT instead of A T A T
Star Wars fandom: so you have chosen... death
why? that the first way they were called..
She does say A T A T at 4:00
She says ad ad
@@chrisyeomans5547 yeah she's american you know
That is the correct way to say it
When she said “AT AT” instead of “A-T A-T”
it's actually canon that it's pronounced At-At, not ay tee ay tee.
"Lucasfilm PR confirmed back in 2010 the proper way of saying it as how it’s spelled: “AT-AT.”

That costume was definitely based on space balls.

I always thought the first order flametrooper was the most intimidating of the first order troops. A harkening back to a dark period of world history. As for all the troops outright, the death trooper was always my favorite.
so many idea`s and designs. my favourit will always be the classic stormtrooper. tho i like the patrol trooper, sith trooper, death trooper.jet troopers. it was hard for me to ajust to the new concept of starwars. but im realy into designing futuristic stuff. i do it in basicly every game where i can build my own things. so my love for starwars is still there and im a huge fan! i hope the starwars spirit never dies and that we may enjoy more movies or series in the future.
George: alright guys, we need a new troopers
Designer: let's give them another colour
More like Kat Kennedy: We need new toys to sell...
Genius! You're promoted to merchandise supervisor.
Are you talking about clones or the imperial/first order stormtroopers because the clones differing in colors is just to differentiate between different battalions/legions (that's why I don't understand why they went through all of the different colored ones because they are mostly the same thing except for the AT-RT driver, paratrooper, etc
@@cidballcidball8030 I was mostly speaking about the new red troopers of the new first order
Ruben Vermaat oh yeah they made the first order kind of boring in terms of trooper design
Storm Troopers: *wear helmets and armor
Also storm troopers : *get knocked out after ONE shot
i know you're joking, but the armor actually did protect them. When you see them blasted onscreen, they are 99% of the time just knocked down or knocked out, not actually dead, similar to if you were wearing a bulletproof vest.
@@khoo5996 well it makes more sense, doesn't it
@@unclearsector4266 Yes, and when Darth Vader chokes a guy out, he is just being a good boss and providing a restful "timeout" for that employee.
@@TexMex421 choking an officer with the Force and getting shot in armour are very different things

This lady’s favorite scene in tlj was the throne room? I bet she havent paid much attention on the choreography lmao
👍🆙!
fave feature about the death trooper is how much bigger their codpieces look because of the slimmed down design of every other part of their armor
