Which Stormtrooper Variant is you favorite? Which army's classes should we cover next?
Can you guys cover the separatist droid army variants next please 😊
Can you guys do separatist forces next. I think that they have a lot of interesting variants to cover.
Flame Troopers
What is with first order trooper ? I think you had no Video about that.
Special Forces Trooper
i wish we could see more of those elite stormtroopers, some of then are really menacing and makes the empire army sounds more effective
I never understood why getting rid of the clones was considered cost cutting when Palpatine literally had 2 Death Stars build aswell
More in the discussion of cutting costs of maintaining military units, not building superweapons
Tbf in Lucas' era the empire was mostly clones, when Disney took over they made it mostly human
It wasn't just for cost cutting. Palpatine wanted his empire to be more human-focused and centered, including in the military. For him, clones were no better than droids, not to mention their Mandalorian heritage.
There were multiple reasons
Relying on conscripts would reduce their reliance on clones, who aged fast and shared a genetic code, meaning that targeted viruses could be made against them. Clones would also reduce their reliance on Kamino, which meant a reliance on a potential weak point.
Using stormtoopers also made it so that civillian planets would be more involved in war, as many troops would come from local levies, meaning that the population would be partially complicit in any problematic issues.
Where do you think the saved funds went...
Crosshair didnt kill all of the elite squad troopers, one ended up surviving and escaping Kamino in that same episode.
Crosshair had on exacuted
yeah he left Crosshair behind and told the Star Destroyer that Crosshair betrayed them.
I like shore troopers. They look so cool.
So true!
They really do
Nah, i like death troopers more
Remember, stormtroopers are elite troops, the elite stormtroopers are the elite of the elite, the fact the stormtroopers sucks is due to the fact disney made their inaccuracy canon
Finally, someone understands! Personally, I don't consider Disney's Star Wars to be canonical.
@@JUMPTR00PERthe Disney side of Star Wars leads to many bad sequels that some consider… un-canonical
I'm surprised EVO troopers weren't mentioned from the Force Unleashed games. And who could forget the Beach Troopers from the Lego games
Nothing surprising, considering there 0 mentions of Legends stormtroopers variants.
Imperial commando are quite widely used in the past. The old rebellion game has them as a unit .
Pretty sure swamptroopers are technically imperial army, not stormtrooper corps. An underused military branch. And if you use them, you might also want to cover the imperial combat driver seen in rebels, walker crews and navy troopers.
I think it would be cool to do a mandalorian and or rebel one
Yes Mandalorian.
Yeah both of those ideas are good.
Mandalorians dont have enough stuff, unless you talk about something like "Neo-crusaders", "Mandalorian Protectors" and stuff from eu.
Yes, Ewoks too.
I thought every mando was elite no? I am not a big Star Wars guy so idk
It’s so unfair they give the bad guys all the cool looking gear.
This makes them more iconic and cool
@@user-te4vp6mj3b they can afford to do both sides
The GAR has cool armor
Ive always been a fan of the Shock Troopers personally, both with the Republic and Empire. Shoretroopers, Dark Troopers, and Death Troopers are a close second
Some of these are not Stormtroopers but Imperial Army or Imperial Navy. Some of these these are not even reqlly seperate trooper types but just different gear, the same trooper might be given different equipment depending on where they are deployed.
Imperial Seatroopers are important in the Planet Nur to patrol underwater
Death Troopers were also rumored to have undergone both genetic and cybernetic enhancements.
Shadow troopers are my favorite, too bad they’re not really being featured in modern content though.
Definitely, I'd love to see them come into canon media
Ikr i love the games trooper variants and want them in a canon setting
They were really cool, but sometimes annoying to deal with
The storm commandos hold a special place for me because they appeared in Rogue Squadron 3. That is still one of my favorite games to this day
I preferred the Purge troopers from the Force Unleashed. They were equipped with an energy blade and shield in their arms/wrists, had a shoulder mounted rocket launcher, magnetic tractor boots, and wore duranium armor enhanced with refined cortosis. Their main weakness were electric based attacks.
I believe in that story they were actually a sub variant of Dark Troopers rather than living Stormtroopers.
@@zaleostin the force unleashed the purge troopers were living people in heavily armored mech suits
@@zackjones8556 According to every description of them I've read, they're droids.
Honestly i like both it's my head canon that the Empire keeps the Purge troopers from TFU for when heavy weapons are desperately needed (in the mobile game commander they are phase 2 dark troopers but I like to weave Canon and Legends together so my head canon is slightly different)
Definitely battle droids next, most variants of any group by far
My favorite class (it wasn`t coverd in the Video) are the Nova Tropper. Nice Video
Just to say one of troopers under crosshairs command did actually survivor got on a shuttle with the rest of the TK troopers.
I'd like to see a video covering battle droids or even Old Republic Troopers
My favorite stormtrooper variants are stormtroopers TK troopers purge troopers death troopers jump troopers snow troopers inferno squad
Pleaee add elite CIS droids next. Obviously ultra droids (B3s), magna guards, and commando droods should be on the list. I think crab droids, chameleon, jetpack SBDs, and dwarf spider droids should be mentioned as well.
If my understanding is right, Inferno Squad weren't just special forces, they were the black ops unit of the Empire.
Because of that status, they could do a lot of things standard troopers couldn't.
That includes having top secret clearance to access places normal troopers wouldn't be allowed.
Their status probably allowed them to take command of field units should the need arise.
Idk why but I've always loved the storm troopers and especially their helmets/armor outfit made them look cool and unique.
Awesome Video, I would like to see Battle Droids next, if possible please. Cheers
This is an awesome video, I appreciate you covering the lesser-known variants like the shadow trooper and the storm commando. Liked and subscribed! looking forward to more of your videos
My stormtrooper variant was the death troops because of they work and how they don’t fear death itself.
Great video. In standard Stormtroopers, what do the various coloured pauldrons denote and how often should they occur in an army (for example
are white or orange more/less common?)
Rank. Black for base troopers, White sergeant, orange commander.
White is for squad leaders who typically have the rank of corporal.
Black is for sergeant
Red/orange is for commanders
The pauldrons were a carry over from the Clone Wars when they were worn by ARC troopers and clone officers.
Pauldrons are HVRIs(High Visibility Rank Indicators),which are designed to let troops in the field know that there's an officer present.
Pauldrons were also used to designate specialist troops as well
@@jameshersom2536White is for squad leaders.
Black for sergeants
Orange/red for commanders
I base this on the fact that it was how the First Order did it and we all know how they borrowed heavily from the Empire.
As a member of the 501st legion I have worn the armor of both the classic stormtrooper and TIE pilot. Currently I am a part of the legion as an Imperial Stormtrooper officer (black uniform seen in ANH and ROTJ) and Imperial navy officer as seen in all of the original trilogy.
How does one become a member of the 501st
@@coonplatoon hi dude how are you
Those shadow troopers were really annoying in survival in battlefront. You didn’t see them and then all the sudden you get flashed while there are snipers and shock troopers attacking you
Feel like being a death trooper would be the coolest job in the imperial army
Ever since Rouge one and the mandolorian Death troopers are still my favorite troopers from the Empire
the death troopers are cool they had the balls to atack the Mandalorian with their fists
7:39 Imperial Seatroopers In The Bad Batch, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor The Mandalorian, Book Of Boba Fett and Ahsoka seasons 1-2-3 or 4
Storm commandos are from legends, Crix Madine led them before defecting to the rebellion, they were basically imperials trained in rebel tactics, kind of like inferno squad
Actually, their purpose was to acquire new tech for the Empire.
But they definitely were an elite black ops unit as evidenced by the fact that they had their own special ships
Just found this channel. I love it! Useful info we need for a mod.
You may as well have mentioned the rest of the Imperial army units considering you mentioned some non-stormtroopers, but oh well.
Thanks for answering the questions I've wondered many times
I do want to respectfully point out that you forgot one trooper that is the grey and white space troopers from Star Tours at the Disney Parks
8:07 Mimban in The Bad Batch, and Andor seasons 2-3
You should cover all Battle droids types?
The fact that the terrorist farmer filled rebels still beat the empire just shows how much plot armor and glazing they’ve been given throughout the years
storm commando appeared much more prominently in the EU
Can you do a in-depth video about task force 99
I thought swamp troopers were a part of imperial army instead of the stormtrooper core
They are indeed the Imperial Army.
LOOOOOVE TROOPERS! Thanks for the vid!
4:30 thats Coruscant Guard, shock troopers more like SWAT
To be fair about their Aim when it’s not a hero their shooting at they are basically marksman that are of olympian standards.
all the troopers from the AT AT pilot onward are my favorite. the Tie pilots and AT AT pilots were always my favorite growing up and the camo scout troopers being close behind
8:45
I watched the Star Wars series of Rebels and I remember that in one episode I saw Dark Troopers, in the show one of the characters called them as "Sentry Droids".
And my favorite Galactic Empire trooper are the "Death Troopers" (9:47)
Please do the First/Final Order types/variants please 😲
In that a century from Return of the Jedi, I swear I saw at least one snowtrooper
I'd have to say mandalorian I just think it would make sense because they're the next I wouldn't say threat but they're one of the big armies
Good vid bro
favourite has to be purge trooper then jugganaut trooper
I love the design of the Purge trooper when they still had the clone para trooper armor
Having seen 7 episodes of S3 Bad Batch at this point + where that seems to be going , plus the way this video was edited surrounding the Death Trooper segment ; I can't shake the thought that the Death Troopers might be clones of Crosshair or Tech.
He forgor about Rick the door technician
Ok jokes aside, my favourite are probably the death troopers and dark troopers
12:09 ah man i want to play star wars force arena game again😢.
Please do battle droid
please do all attack droid types
I've heard that the troops seen in the Solo movie were Imperial Army soldiers and considered a step below StormTrooper command?
Do the legends variants too
do these videos include legends and canon? if so well done. I prefer if they're all included
I love Shadow troopers and sand troopers, not a real reason, just think they're cool
THANKS FOR DOING THiS
\
Are you going to do Warhammer 40k factions too
Redel Trooper next!
Do a video about stats of Star Wars animals
The swamptroopers are called Mudtroopers.
At 3.
39 you said there was 2 scout trooper varieties but there's one more the commander one from Jedi survivor
Fun yet disturbing fact: As part of their training, Death Troopers were brainwashed into serving their commanders without question.
I think we need the cis
I think that mud troopers are completely underated and in my opinion they are the best
You missed the sith trooper that appeared in The Rise Of Skywalker, you mentioned a Crimson Trooper which I’m guessing is that trooper but just in case I’m commenting this.
You should most definitely do Mandalorian class next 😊
My favourite varient, the "Liva Trooper"
My favorite Storm Trooper has to be a legends trooper known has the Navy Commandos very underrated and VERY rare!
I think my favourite might be the shore trooper just because I love the design.
Who ever decided that those were the roles of a shock trooper (or to call them shock troopers) doesn't know what a shock trooper did/does
If they existed at the time, would the Emperor have sent Death Troopers in Ep VI to ambush Han and the Rebels on the Moon of Endor?
Death Troopers were mostly used by the Tarkin Initiative and other imperial officers, while only Vader's personal forces and a meagre Endor garrison were on Endor. The whole point was to fool the Rebels into thinking that the defences were relatively weak. Had the Empire sent in more forces, the Rebels would have figured them out.
Honestly the real reason is simply that they hadn't been written in to the story at the time. Given that they were already able to hide a whole legion on Endor to surprise the rebels when they attacked it doesn't feel like too much of a stretch that they could bring along a few Death Trooper Squads. Although thinking about it, it does make me wonder what the point in the special forces squads were if the Empire already had the Death Troopers.
@@zaleost To be clear, the Empire didn't 'hide' the legion. The Rebels knew that the 501st had been dragged around by Vader ever since he happened upon them in 0BBY, and that is precisely why they were trying to go through the back door bunker of the Imperial generator rather than the front door.
Recalling their first appearance in Rogue One, imagine how their first appearance would’ve been taken by the audience of the original trilogy’s premiering days.
Awesome video!🤘
740th like!👍
All of them, they are awesome 🤩🤩🤩
TIE Pilots are badass
Is this video in line with Jedi Survivor?
I think mandalorians, could you also add both legends and Canon mandos?
The Purge Trooper seems to be a much more powerful version than the Dark Trooper from Star Wars Dark Forces.
you made about the clone trooper and stormtrooper make about the First order trooper next
I'd say after mandalorian cuz that's one of the main armies of the clone wars than first order but second still pretty good on my list cuz the droids just suck at their job
You didn't mention the lunch troopers 😂
Stormtroopers are iconic. But fuckin hell they've been clowned on for too long by Disney 🤦♂️
Purge Trooper and Death Troopers are my Empire unit.
All First Order trooper next?
There was also a snow version of the scout trooper I belive they were on hoth
What about the shadow troopers seen in in Jedi Outcast?
In A New Hope, the stormtroopers were intentionally missing their shots
Range troopers with the heavy armour and fur
12:09 that picture is from a mobile Star Wars game I use to play, does anyone know the name of it?
Um the camo scout troopers are the 41st elite corps right?
I’m guessing that the storm trooper armor is as reliable to the empire as B-1 units for the separatists because it is cheap, effective enough, and heavily customizable
