Thanks Ponchy this helped a lot 😊
Thanks for making this video! Very helpful
Glad to help!
Very Helpfull. THX a LOT!
Great Ponchy. I was struggling to change patterns with different kits. Thanks to your video now everything is clear. Btw no many videos about A4 MK2. Yours are the best tutorials.
Hi, I see you do some A4 videos which i appreciate. It would be great if you did a video on how to set up the A4 in Ableton. Adding all 4 tracks plus fx track and cv track???? Would probably be helpful to many. Cheers!!! Also show how to set it up in the ableton settings menu.
Perfect kit tutorial with real problems and solutions!!!
hey I appreciate that!
Very good tutorials! Thank you :)
Thank you! I appreciate that
On the small boxes (DT & ST) I make a new pattern and change the sounds, I assume they dont change across patterns but I could be wrong. How do I manage this on A4? I already made a pattern with sounds, if I want to make a new "song" do I have to open a new project?
Ponchyyyy yooo whats up bro!!!
yoooo what up man?!
I saw one track has kick and snare both on factory preset projcet.Could you please show how to do that?
Hmm not sure exactly what you mean. If you are talking about having a kick trig and snare trig on the same track then you simply hold down a trig and navigate to either the SRC menu by double pressing it and using UP/DOWN arrows to select a different sound OR going to the SMPL menu and selecting a different sample with encoder D and that way you would be able to put different sounds on the same track.
Let me know if that helps or not.
That’s real interesting, so I can flip from one pattern to the next and it would retain changes such as filters and effects? If so, this is awesome cuz my Syntakt and Digitakt always “clipped” the sounds when switching patterns then when I go to the previous pattern I was on before switching it doesn’t reset the sounds but picks it up from the changes I made. If that makes sense.
This kit thing is great and solves lots for my performances
Basically kits act to separate sounds from patterns which is great!
Yes indeed! One of many reasons why the Four is well worth it and better than the Syntakt and Digitakt. I still love my Syn/Digis but nothing will ever touch the Four.
@@Ponchy I just got the A4 and just learning but I feel it's a great pairing with the boxes. Syntakt provides the drums, I feel they'd be a great combo
Well I got the A4 and coming from the Digitakt I hate that thing so much.
A pattern is a pattern and should contain everything. Why septate it with kits and all that nonsense?
Anyways that’s my personal opinion, everyone gets their own I guess :)
Hi, Ponchy! Thanks for the neat info!
How do you deal with polyrythmic patterns? I'm not quite sure but I've got a situation where one of my tracks played 1:4 two times before going to 2:4 page. Is this possible?
I've came to this theme while dealing with "ratchets" on hats those can be done (as I see it) only by making tracks with settings of x2-x4 speed.
Oh, I wish that they will complete this part and just add a real ratchet feature like for Rytm and other devices. Who needs this stupid marketing approaches? IMHO it's not good for the company's reputation. Somebody already called it the "Apple" in the synth world.
For ratchets you wanna take advantage of retrigs and that way you can preserve the page size and retrigs only take up one trig.
@@Ponchy Strange... I've didn't noticed retrigs in Analog Four. I remember that these exists in Analog Rytm.
