Ponchy I like arpeggio synths btw what is the Tittle of the song?

I’m having a hard time trying to use the bounce fonction, in Logic pro, with the Big SIX. I just want to bounce my tracks through the G Comp - but I don’t want to print in Logic Pro first. I want to bounce out through the G Comp. And so far, only printing is working. Which is weird since I’m pretty sure I managed my routings correctly (using an aggregate and routing all my tracks to 15/16 outs, etc). Any idea, oh mighty Ponchy?

I've tried so many times to live sample with a mic and it just doesn't seem to work. Obviously via an audio interface. Any idea why that would be

i cant figure this out for the life of me, i watching this over and over and feel like im missing something, cuz when i try to hold down the scene, it just deactivates it and any changes i make are just there whether scene is active or not..

Till this day, I will never understand why they never just made a simple one press button record like other samples.....I never got my Octatrack to just do basic sampling in an intuitive way live.....my SP404 its simple...

Why waste tracks with thru machines? Just use the mixer.

What about bounces? How can you bounce easily through the BigSix without the output set to 1/2? And what about aggregate devices?

I am considering getting the ssl Big Six but the only thing that it's holding me back is that I am not so sure if it's going to give me the clean, open, studio quality sound, and not noisy because most of the gears that I have are top notch gears. Thank you for your video. It was very helpful to watch.

Hello, if you Unmute track 2/3/4 before change to pattern 2, if you going back to pattern 1 there is still 1/2/3 muted as programmed or it will be unmuted because we unmuted before to go to the patter 2 ? Thanks

Lemme take you up on these questions, cause I’m really interested in the BigSIX but still have a few questions I can’t seem to be able to answer properly : 1) Is it possible to bypass the SSL preamps at all? Or, at least, inserting your own preamps and bypassing the SuperAnalogue preamps? 2) Is it possible to mix, monitor and print (but not necessarily sum) a multitrack in Logic Pro? I’d like to know how hard/easy it is to actually bounce a track through the GComp and a master insert (a Fusion or something else). 3) Does the Main Insert is located before or after the GComp? Is there a way to move its position? 4) I’m still wondering about the main differences between the Main Outs and the Main Monitors. If you ever got the time to answer these, I owe you one. Cheers!

Why are you digital bussing instead of just bussing analog, digital bussing is a digital version of summing, keep the summing analog.

there are certain pluggins that dont get transfered through to the audio track so it ends up sounding completely different... any one know why ?

Great tip, Ponchy! Is there a way to transpose the A4 keyboard? Like have C on the mini keyboard act like an F if I need to? I know I can adjust the tuning of the Osc, but if I am working on an F track, would love to be able to just transpose the Mini keyboard

That big Six being unexpandable...is a huge DESIGN FLAW no ADAT in and out...... That should be at least 12 Mono Channels...with a at least 1 Stereo Channel A Full Featured G Comp and a Sweepable Mid on each channel.... those are the Main Mistaked they made on this......

Quick question can you make the SSD default as internal drive - reason being that my MPC thinks the internal drive is only 1gb (some error I can’t seem to get around) and can’t locate the internal sometimes when I want to install all the demos back in and recent/demo/template things…Or is it just like the SD, USB memory slots? When the Multi-Trig is on the Matriarch ignores the ties in the sequence and always triggers a new note, that's why you don't really hear the tie in the demo.

Ponchy do you like the MPC Live 2 better than the Elektron Analog Rytm MK2?

I have almost the same process except for the original MIDI track which I don't freeze: instead, 1º/ I deactivate all clips, then mute the track 2º/ deactivate all the device/plugin chain 3º/ mute it [for the last two steps I use MUDA Max4Live plugin from Noisemaker which deactivate the devices when "mute" button is on]. Any advantage in freezing the track vs deactivating everything on it? I guess that CPU-wise it's the same?

Id use a Midi Keyboard to lay down notes. No Velocity sensitivity with the provided keys on the A4. Also, if I remember correctly everything else Accent/Slide is recorded while you play... as long as you have a midi keyboard that provides. I may be wrong...
