For those struggling to make it work... Search for the "Overbridge control panel" software on your computer. (NOT the Overbridge Engine).. Open it and turn on the individual drum sounds on the green top row switches...Then press apply...

Ok, just to verify, we are talking about the outputs from Logic sent by USB back into the BigSix, right? So when listening to playback of tracks that we have set to different outputs, like a summing situation, what are we doing with Logic's outputs that feed the master output? Are we losing 2 channels of output that we can't get back to go into summing? Is the best thing to do is setup an aggregate device that always gets fed Logic's stereo outputs and rename the I/O's to the proper SSL outs? And in doing so, would we losing any aspects of tracking w/ the BigSix? I suppose you couldn't monitor the stereo outs with the BIgSix's monitoring section during playback if you kept it that way during tracking. Should we have a separate template for tracking and summing/mixing and load tracks or stems into the summing template for mixing? I don't know if I have this all straight in my mind or if I making it harder than it is...

I've got a weird thing happening tho: I have some sounds that I programmed on pad 7 - 8, can load them from the sound manager menu and they are added to the pool, but when I try to load them from the pool in the sound browser, i've got a "no match for MT/HT" on the screen and that's it... would you know where does that come from or what I missed there? Great video anyway!

what i do is to set the roland as a midi client, so it can be quantised launched and sampling with ot starts and finishes in sync.

no possibility to catch exactly quant. the first key hit on your roland. Thats will lead to various tries and errors and repitions, so i see this not as a quick method.

Octatrack is crazy, it lets you build your own workflow. I hope to be exploring mine for many more years. My only worry is the buttons' eventual sticky demise.

How do you like the synth on th XY compare to like A4. Everything I hear from XY sound like elevator music. Just empty, flat . . . might be good for ambient but nothing punchy.

Was reviewing the info in this video and noticed logic 11.1.1 has a setting called "mirroring" in the audio panel. You can set the outputs to 15& 16 and then uncheck the mirroring setting to get the stereo output to go to just 15 & 16 (without going to 1&2). If you enable mirroring it goes to 1& 2 and 15& 16...am I wrong?

Hi, thanks for the video. I just received my push standalone and tried it over ADAT with RME Fireface UC. I get some crackles despite I set sample rate the same in push and RME. Then I’ve seen that I should send the clock to my interface, however I’m not sure how to do it. Maybe you have any tips for understanding the topic ?

The sound goes from Logic to Overbridge but the hardware doesnt respond.
