Great stuff Thomann! These videos are really good and educational! Keep on doing these!
Yeah it’s nice to hear a human speaking like a person
Timely as always Felix. Thanks.
Need to have one ❤
Great video!
NGL I bought this specifically for the cool animations lol
What about ZOIA the Ultimate FX unit? Thanks
The Zoo's is AMAZING ... but it's a hard hard nut to crack , ... To memorize all those POSSIBILLITIES , and keep track of the signalflows is ....just HARD ! 🤯
But the sound Q is another level
Can you control all the parameters with MIDI CC? Seems a shame not to have the Elektron parameter lock flow on some of these!
Very nice, but very pricey. Sound is awesome, want one. :)
When will you start the giveaway, I want this unit so bad.
does it offer sidechain?
the warning mark on the level meter is peak clip. doesn’t care?
Reverb is ok, rest is meehh
I hope a lot of people buy one now so that in a couple years they’ll flood the used market and I can get one for what they’re actually worth lol
That noise degradation / low resolution is very simple and boring across all the presets. There is a good reverb but the rest is just meh. I agree thesed o soundnot very ibasic and are very primitive. I would opt for dedicated fx pedals/ plug ins. The Heat part is still strong and good.
Want 🤩
I really like the Heat+FX but as I said on IG, probably have to sell a kidney for it..
If this didn't say elektron on it, it would be a $299 guitar pedal
That's very probable indeed
Chroma console offers basically the same kind of options for half the price
@@aikighostwith program changes, good saturation, modulatable fx, analog filters?
@@Tapepusher chroma console has most of that (-analog fiters) but add much extra & is half the price and the quality of the CC FX is top notch.
As much as I love most Elektron boxes, this looks and feels like an OK guitar pedal with LFOs thrown in for good measure.
I might have been ready to buy it if it were half the price Elektron is asking for it.
Unfortunately digital elektron fxs turns everything into lo fi due to average algos and poor convertion, which is elektrons tradition. Hope they will fix it someday.
@@AlexandNeville do you record in with 24 bit depth? I’ve never understood the octa sound quality hate
Would it not be easier for you to just use something else?
@@AlexandNevillecompletely agree and actually just sold my OT because of the weak fx and often complicated hoops you need to jump through for even basic things. I’m giving Drambo a shot to see if I can scratch the same itch in software, but if Elektron ever does come out with an MK3 I’ll definitely scoop it up.
I’ve found that Elektron gear has a particular sonic palette that you either love or you don’t.
Techno and Acid of course, 90’s Warp records releases, Boards of Canada style scratchy retro. It wouldn’t hurt if they offered a few more modern FX so long as they keep those classics though.
If the quality of Elektron products is good enough for all those professional artists using it on stage, it’s definitely good enough for most of us.
