exact thing happened with my ex husband. I stopped complaining about things he did and let everything he did slide. he stupidly read it as he was in control and I was letting him do him. in fact I did everything Derrick said a woman does when she's fed up and he still did not get it. I finally walked out one day when he least expected because I knew I could do better. I did not settle and now I'm with an amazing man who values family and moral.

Being irritable in a relationship don't talk to me, touch me or look at me. Everything he does makes me ill. Plotting,planning and waiting. We not even engaging in pleasantries. His feelings no longer matter, does not even fuss about things she used to.
I've checked out. He can do things that always made me upset or angry, ... and I don't care. Don't talk, and don't want to be touched. I also am relieved as hell when he leaves the house. Even do a happy dance when the door shuts

I stopped talking to him. Stopped sharing my stories. He’d ask how my day went and I’d always say it was good even if it wasn’t. Things he’d do, I wouldn’t even argue with anymore. Yup! All of this. Once I was fed up I stopped arguing with my ex. I didn't care anymore and I didn't want to put my energy into something I felt wasn't going to work or change. Anything he said I responded with "... Ok". I got to the point were I would unconsciously avoid his touch (he pointed it out to me one day). I got so tired of being bothered that I told him since nothing is going to change we might as well go our separate ways. I'd rather be alone and in peace then be with someone who thinks arguments are a form or foreplay.
