Yes! I've been waiting for this for a while. Thank you so much, Pastor Tanner! Great explanations and examples to help people grasp how the feature can be used. Looking forward to more of your videos and also thank you for making them even in the busyness of life. Blessings to you my friend!
This is a great video. I’m really sloppy about how I use the Notes feature and looking for ideas about how to use it better. I like the color coding suggestion and the way you described anchoring and unanchored notes. Kudos, PT!
Great video! I would love to see a walk through of how you use each notebook. I see you have lots there and am just getting organized using notes in Logos.
Love this PT!! I just got Logos last week and have been absorbing as much as possible since then! Your videos have been immensely helpful to me! Minor suggestion: Looks like you use OBS (or some variant), and so it would be easy/trivial to move your camera overlay to the other side of the screen as needed when you are demonstrating something that is blocked by your camera.
Hello @Pastor Tanner - do you have any idea how i can share a Logos note to another Logos user? When i click on the global share button (the share button in individual notes level is missing at all) just a empty window without content opens. Is this function broken?
The Notes tool is my very favorite feature, and I have Gold. But I adore connecting passages together and taking all kinds of notes on passages all the time. My question is, if I recommend Logos to others (most won’t be pastors or Bible scholars), what is the least expensive package that Notes are included in? I think it might be the free, but that seems too good to be true! Thank you!
Hey brother! Could you do a video on your method for sorting through your highlights in the visual filters? For example, with workflows you have so many notes that appear anchored to a text, so I'm curious if there is an easy way to turn these on and off without having to go find the workflow for each one.
I appreciate your videos so much!! I'm new to Logos, I watch at least 1 of your videos everyday to help me to try to get the best use from my Platinum Logos that I just purchased. I'm wondering about 2 things and if you have videos about them. 1, What are the general differences with the Academic, Counseling and different Verbum packages? 2, What do you suggest as best use for someone who can't seem to find a place to land for an organized belief system? I'm trying earnestly and I'm sure I'm not Catholic and not Calvinist but leaning toward somewhat Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian or something along those lines. I appreciate your feedback!
Awesome, Melissa! Thanks for the encouragement, and thanks for reaching out. 1. Verbum packages are all based around Roman Catholic resources. I actually have some full Verbum packages myself from prior iterations. Academic and Counseling packages are focused on giving you the resources you need to focus on those disciplines. If you are looking to supplement L10 Platinum, then you already have all of the features that Academic and Counseling offer, so it is purely based on the resources that are available for each step. I would bring up each package you are interested in on the website using the 'compare packages' page and look at your dynamic price relative to the resources on offer. That should tell you if each are worth. I personally own the max academic and counseling package. The academic packages in particular are pretty strong offerings. 2. As for 'finding your theological home,' if you are just talking about base package supplemental purchases, I give no consideration to the actual names of the packages themselves. For me, it is all about the resources on offer. Have you seen my buying guides? If you want to supplement with a Gold package for example and are unsure if it should be the Baptist or Wesleyan one, watch the gold buying guide and skip to those sections. Also skip to the end where I give my best-buy and runner-up. Again, these are resource based decisions, so open up the compare packages section and ask yourself if those resources are worth your dynamic price. If instead you are talking about finding your own bearings in terms of your spiritual journey, I would ask which theological positions are most important to you. Is eschatology very important to you? How about the issue of baptism? These leanings will determine where you feel like you resonate most within God's church more broadly. How would I create a hyperlink to a verse in the LXX? Not an anchor. I want create a link that when you mouseover it does the pop up with the text and if you click it then it opens up the verse in the LXX Bible that I've tied it to. By default Logos wants to link only to the MT.
I believe this probably has to do with your Bible prioritization, at least the second half. If you prioritize the LXX above the MT in bibles, I believe hotlinks will go there first. As for the first half of what you are asking, I believe that highlights or notes would work best. I may have to fiddle around with this more to get you the best answer.
I have a question. How can i Sync My notes across all my bibles and books? For instance i create a note or Highline in A Biblie how can the same note be applied automaticaly for all bibles? Sorry for any mistake in writting
You need to 'add anchor' and this anchor needs to be tied to the reference itself, not the translation. Once you go to make a note you can click the triple dot menu (the internal one in the note itself) and add a reference as an anchor.
I don't believe so, as I think that workflows exist in a different system. Although, I bet you could export a workflow and copy and paste it somehow. I'll need to look into this one.
Hi brother. I wanted to know if I have questions i.e. on Notes, about anchoring notes would you be able to answer them? I would of coarse would contribute you through your platforms. Edit : That didn't come out right lol. I like your teaching on Logos 10, I am contributing because I want to contribute to your content you're putting out on L10. Thx.
No need to contribute, Michael. I will be happy to try and answer any questions to the best of my abilities. If you get into our Discord and add me as a friend it will be easier to message me regularly.

@@morganfrmn If you have one of the commentaries like the Ancient Christian Commentary you can simply look it up there. Or if you have many of the works of the early church fathers (like Schaff) you can open the passage guide, then search the passage itself and scroll down to the 'ancient literature' section.
