You can also, drag the Update:current layout to the side bar then assign it to a "Quick Link" command in the "Favorite" menu. For example, I have the "Ctrl + 2" shortcut to update my layout. Saves so much time.
@@logosbibletraining Agree, I love it this way because I am always adding, subtracting my layout during studies so when I finish, I have gotten use to clicking my Ctrl +2 buttons to save. Before, I was going down to my toolbar and with me fettered eyesight, found the save button. LOL
Lots of helpful tips here. I've been using Logos for less than a month and I've learned a lot thanks to videos like these. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Oh my goodness! That’s exactly why I’m doing these videos. I’m so glad you found this one helpful. I’ll keep them coming! Anything in particular you’d like to see demonstrated or dug into further?
I like they nested notes, I have been doing that for a while but I think of the highest level note as the Contents note. What would be good is if Logos would have a utility that would make a contents note from all the notes in a folder, using the titles, and place it at the top of the folder.

I’ve got it saved in my menu bar myself, but adding it as a Favorite is a great idea (if only I could remember to use my keyboard shortcuts).

Thanks Jayson! Always love having nerdy chats about the Bible and logos 🎉
This was a very enjoyable chat! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your Logos skills with me.
If you Click on Layouts you can drag update active layout from there onto the toolbar to create the Update Active Layout link
That’s the ticket right there! Thank you so much.
I need to interview you someday maybe? 🙃
@@logosbibletraining Probably not fella.
One can dream! 💭

Notes need rebuilt altogether, if you ask me… but there are a few simple ways that Notes could be improved!
