A little tip... make a catch tank directly under the turbo and pump the oil from it, otherwise it's going to burn some oil and smoke alot every time you start it! 👍🏻🙂

Al (turbo Yoda)(theskidfactoy)made mini sumps for turbo for low mounts before, so has mike from (stanceworks) made one for the k20 308 and he had a breather on the little sump to stop it smoking

They said that’s why they installed the electric pump from the turbo, bc they didn’t have room to do that with the bottom mount

Legit, of all the cars (4 rotor included) this is probably my favorite of Adam's builds. There's so much going on and making it all work is a work of art. You guys are killing it. Mustaches included.

i cut a + into my turbo blanket installed over wastegate flange on turbo and spread blanket to get the wastegate installed. looks reasonably tidy.
I believe they make one already but for our location it didn't work

When we use an Oil Scavenge pump we just use a plain old turbo timer on just that circuit and set it for 10 seconds or so. We also use a check valve on the oil feed line to keep oil from draining and puddling in the CHRA, typically a 15lb check valve.

Random thought but has anyone thought of doing a stand alone oil system for the turbo that also has a water cooled intercooler system? Maybe run a thinner oil but keep it colder to help with cooling?

There is no room for it anywhere else and its very efficient at managing boost creep
