- I bought a wrecked BMW M3 Competition to rebuild!! But the build was a lot harder than i first thought! Here's every single episode I filmed rebuilding the BMW in one full video. Enjoy.

I like when you put your personal touch on your builds. I understand the concept. It's your car, do what ever you want with it, you want to stand out against what comes from the factory. In my opinion, that's what real cars guys do. Car snobs can go kick rocks. Keep rockn to your music.

I know you usually don’t work on Hondas or Toyotas but a Honda s2000 build or a Toyota Supra build or old JDM cars would give a nostalgic vibe… cheers to all you do bruv

I'll go with the Fords. Especially the Cosworth, I can even work with the Supra, but a Honda S2000? Unless you put an obscene amount of money into it, You'll never get it even to the point of taking on my Opel Astra... YES! I drive an Astra. You British guys would probably rather associate that with Vauxhall, But no. Mine is an Opel. The least talked about German brand. Yet. I am still waiting for the Golf G.T.I that can take me. Oh, and did I mention she's 24 years old? Your Golf doesn't need to be, though. She eats 2023 G.T.I's for breakfast. In fact. There's still some G.T.I stuck in her teeth from the last race. And I will admit. Had that car a driver that knew what he was doing, he could have murdered me. Sometimes having a fast car is not all it takes.

Hey Mat! Modern headlights often contain some intelligence within their electronic circuits to control and monitor various functions. These are known as control units.
During the vehicle's initialization, the headlight control unit and other modules register on a communication bus (CAN) to exchange messages, receive commands, etc. This is an addressed communication bus, which is likely why swapping the modules resolved the issue. If the new one has an address that is already taken or not registered by the master system, it won't be recognized and can't function properly. :)

Love the channel and the bmw builds . Had similar with my 330d basically did what you did and just removed damage and welded in new simple . I will never own an M3 or 5 but thank you for the great videos ✌️✌️

I just replaced a front fender myself that my neighbor smashed into and it wasn't that bad but lining everything up perfectly is proving to be a pain. But after seeing this rear quarter being replaced I have no complaints. It really turned out right and did not look easy at all.
I want to say that the job on this one was eggcellent. However I wanted to give you a tip on the 1/4 panel install. Insurance companies require a 3 inch piece of metal to bridge where the jamb and roof line meet to support the unusual marrying of the outer metal. You spray the piece that goes underneath with weld through primer then weld it in. I hope this helps you.
