I try to live my live as close to Gods heart as possible. The 10 commandments & the Golden Rule. Treat others the way you want to be treat. Also all Gods commandments can be put Into 2. Love your God with all your heart, mind & Spirit . Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself. Thx for all the wisdom that you're uploading
"I just can't be doing it this way" this is the lesson of my life. I can't be forced or force myself to be what I, deep inside, don't approve. So whether I'm convinced it is really better than what I am now or I quit doing this... I loved him and his voice as the symbolic Red Irish figure which supports the protagonist to escape a destiny be didn't deserve by carefully making his own luck against all odds, in Shawshank Redemption. I was a movie that for a time a kept watching every time I needed to get some inspiration for working on upgrading my matrix. Morgan Freeman is always the right character for something that I believe he embodies even when he simply says:"Didn't you get the memo? " I wish him all the best. And thank you, Evan!
Nikki Bennett so true that’s the difference between having a successful life or having an average life. Successful people are not scared to take risks and if they fail, they try again until they make it.
I admire him as a human being who has a mind if his own and is very courageous. "The greatest mental freedom is truly not caring what anyone thinks of you". Be yourself and not allow others to force you into a cookie cutter anything.
Teresa Yeates Tough question. Some oppression & some psychological. Hopefully they can find the strength, courage & love to carry themselves out of that situation.
This man had me crying as he believed in himself enough to insist that Mrs. Lipton give him a chance to pursue acting. THEN this man has me crying with laughing so hard watching him on HELIUM(!) with JIMMY FALLON ... THAT'S an actor, THAT'S the man, ... THAT'S MORGAN FREEMAN ... and HE IS INSPIRATION
Morgan Freeman shows more discernment than anyone I can recall that's in the public eye. He is truly a great man! Thank you for the clip it's awesome!!!
That doesn't work. I've worked at employment agencies before. They don't care about anybody about themselves and making money, that's why they just give you any crappy job. You can work at an employment agency or temp. agency but if you aren't getting anywhere you need to after a while then look for your own job. You can still work for the employment agency or temp agency because you need to pay your bills, but keep looking. Don't depend on the agency.
What if I told you... what if I told you there were? All around you? They aren't famous, and may even be invisible to you. But they are there. Millions. They're not portrayed, and they aren't portrayed because they aren't interesting. They aren't portrayed because the narrative doesn't fit the desired message. But there are without a doubt millions of them.

" I refuse to take part in anything that will denigrate a people especially myself." - Morgan Freeman That was the quote that impacted me the most thank you for including it it shows a respect for himself and a universal respect for people which is excellent.
Wow! the elaboration on Rule 9: Hold on to your values when Mr. Freeman said "I refuse to take part in anything that will denigrate a people..." is one of the most profound things that I've heard recently. So very well said. I have been on my transformational path since 2014 and I spend a considerable amount of time watching these kinds of videos, but Rule No. 2: "Build word-of-mouth" is something new to me. It's nice to have yet another tool in my kit and so that would be my major learning from this video. Morgan Freeman is a great actor; and I can see from his guiding philosophies why this is so.
Morgan Freeman, is one pf those "few actors", that you can love the first time you see him perform. You can then love him more, when you hear him speak.
What I learned from this video (as asked at the very end of it): If you really want to figure out how to navigate through your life and make a rich, fulfilling experience, regardless of circumstances, 1. Be courageous: no easy way around that one. Sometimes it is required of you if you want to move on; 2. Define to yourself your values and hold to them: they are intrinsic to your well-being; 3. Observe, be open-minded, learn to think critically: develop these practices and they will de-dramatize situations, they will give you stability in your thinking, and you won't have to deal with a lot of self-generated mind garbage; 4. Have fun: this one brings it down to the level we all can profit from easily - seize the moment. So much more to the content than just this, but I'll keep it short. You will find your own take on the video. Thank you Morgan Freeman and the creators of this compilation - uplifting, thought-provoking material.
#1 Be who you are is my favorite because I’m still at 51 learning this. When you are being true to yourself dna then your dreams and goals become a reality!!
I too love Morgan Freeman he's a great Actor and a very special Human Being you can be a 100% sure when Morgan Freeman is in a Movie It's a good Movie!
I appreciate these clips of Morgan Freeman. He is amazing, his matter of fact mentality is what I love about him. Honestly I feel the same way he does. I ask questions no one wants to hear...yet I have the ear of management at my job. They ask me what I think needs changed. I have been working in my industry since I was a teen. I am now being embraced for my knowledge. It took awhile to get here, I'm glad I never gave up. Yes people can do anything they want too. Your want too needs to turn into a must-have. Refusal to stop till you get what you want/need/must-have add on hard work determination... Nothing can or will stop you if you make it undeniable that you will have what you shooting for 🔥💝💪🙏👑 (I listen to motivational speakers on a consistent basis. Especially while homeless) Thank you for your content 😊
Thank you. Morgan Freeman is one of my favourite inspirations. I love how he knows he came from disadvantages, but refuses to ruminate over them and just went for what he wanted. His attitude reminds me a lot of Les Brown. Different characters, but really great father figures and mentors.
Evan Carmichael , thank you for creating this video! I've always found Morgan Freeman to be a great role model, since I saw him on the Electric Company. My mom raised me alone, and I wished he was my dad. I am white! I thought he was the perfect combination of tough and fair, fun and loving and we'd be a happy family. Thanks for this bit of positiveness!
"I refuse to take part in anything that is going to denigrate a people. Especially me." Holding on to my values... in all aspect of life will allow you to make the biggest impact of your life your entire life. I love how he touched on this... I am building a lifestyle that is already present in so many different elements in our everyday lives: Love, Peace, Respect, Humbleness, Power, Selflessness, Honesty, Togetherness, everything that I value and that drives me to lift up other people. That power lies in myself and my willingness to not compromise who I am for a quick sale or a name to fame. I believe in revolution and the power of love, and more importantly in people. The potential to be great and believe in a life where who we are as individuals is good enough to manifest our own version of success. Thank you, Morgan Freeman.
I'm hoping to one day shake this great man's hand and just look straight deep into his eyes. That would make my day "If you can imagine it you can do it" How true
The main message I got was: he was very talented since age 8. That wins the race. The pep talk is nice to hear to keep yourself motivated in daily life and helping seeing things from another/better view.
Never give up on your dreams and stay true to yourself were the biggest lessons that resonated with me. Thank you for this encouraging message from Morgan Freeman
New Future Builder I hate it that some people to jump extra hoops to live in this life. So glad he became successful but the excess stress is not right.
Be courageous in life is my favourite rule of Morgan Freeman. It means you can achieve a lot in your life when you have courage to take a risk and to take what you want! God bless Morgan Freeman!❤️
MR Electric Company were Morgan Freeman got his start, doing children's educational shows What a good Man i love his values Morgan Freeman is a Man of independents
Remember he’s a professional actor. Will will never know the truth of how he actually started off. There is no such thing as rags to riches. All of the actors that are big come from the elite class, pharaohs, etc.
i love Morgan Freeman. through the years he's had his ups and downs but he's who he is today and in his niche, finely sculpted for all of us to enjoy his talent and wisdom. he's a national treasure
Morgan is a great man, a great mind, a great actor. Very constructive. I wish there were many many more people open-minded like him. I share his thoughts. Total respect!
Along with John Coltrane, he is among my heroes. I am now 62. I gave it my best shot, and I lost. There are those that do lose even though they gave their soul. Blessings to Mr. Freeman. As for me, that is the way of life...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience edo. I think what is important is that you've tried and you did your best and you stayed positive despite everything. #Believe #BTA486 Shine
The impact? Pride. Pride that I can say to the world that Mr. Freeman is an American like me, that for all the negative that has come from my country's past we have the capacity to create such wisdom, and that as Mr. Freeman has chosen to not let negatives define his character, as AMERICANS we have the power to choose our future. Thank you Mr Freeman.
Poignant for me: when Morgan disclosed that at the time of release of "The Shawshank Redemption," that the number one box office hit was "Dumb and Dumber." I love Morgan. He was a HUGE part of my childhood. I watched The Electric Company 5 days a week, along with Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, ZOOM, and 3 - 2 - 1: Contact! Every time I hear his voice I can clearly hear from memory, "Highteous, Righteous, Outta-sighteous!!" Thanks for this video. Mr. Freeman deserves the recognition.
Ever so good, Evan. Hats off for your succinct take on this great gentleman's views on life. Sincere thanks for this outstanding moment. Thank you for being here, Morgan Freeman!
I love this great human ---he is an asset to our world. I did a blog on him years ago and I have enjoyed all his movies. I am sorry he had to deal with racism in his early life. If I had been this I would have kicked anyone who hurt him. People should help each other not mistreat people. I cannot believe some people were raised to be a racist.
The problem with you is you think being raised racist makes people racist. It is, in the end, a choice. you think you would have done something different in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, or 1960s? NO. You would NOT have kicked anyone. As Freeman would say, "That's bullshit."
@@JohnLloydScharf I have no problem--- it is people that assume they know the hearts of others--when they open their opinionated mouths without knowledge and knowing someone. I don't normally comment to negative remarks. I do not comment on different races and how they feel in their hearts--I am sure their treatment from others are sometimes valid--and I am sorry humans can be so mean.
@@barbarapurvishunter7215 I was raised with racism, but I did not understand it. My parents reacted to "anti-racism." The laws invoked to "cure" it make it worse. It was my parents turned away from an African American family's home that threw me. The first African American I met was a genius in second grade. He was a "little person" and, even then, I towered above him. I thought he did not like me because I was not as intelligent with only a 125 IQ and poor reading skills. Then, my family got invited for a meal. Everyone apologized and we went home without even entering their door. I did not even know I was different than him , other than being tall, until his parents rejected us. Yes, he was darker than me, but his parents were not. I am dark with brown eyes. Mostly I am keltic Scots-Irish, but my paternal Y-DNA is true Caucasian from the mountains of the Caucasus. J1c3d. I have the brown eyes and dark skin of my father. He could have been in Turkey or Kurdistan without being noticed. So would I. What I found out in the USN was if people like me, I am their race. IF they do not, I am not. I tan easily and darkly. I once was told "you must be part 'nigger.'" I got it, quickly, that this person did not like me. At one point, 23AndMe reported me as 0.1% West African. Long before that the ID testing values the FBI uses showed me with a value only a Mandingo and I had in common in the research. So, I can see nothing scientific in dividing people by "race." It is all based on a handful of characteristics based on the language and culture we put around general collection of attributes. All declarations of "race" are racist. There is only one race. It is the human race and we are all different shades of ORANGE due to our blood, pigment, and carotene.
@@JohnLloydScharf Thanks for sharing and I will share this with you. The best job with the least pay I ever had was teaching Phonics and reading skills in a public school. I loved my children of every race you can name. I still hear from some of them today and that was years ago. I never understood how people could be so small minded about the color of someone's skin. It is the merit and character of the person that matters. Have a great month of August and stay safe.
What an inspiring video! Morgan Freeman stories of his experiences "Mrs. Lipton" and more.....are so real and inspiring! May we all rise to our dreams...
I'm glad that you're feeling inspired by our content, it means a lot. Thank you for sharing and thanks for watching! Much love. :) #BelieveNation #BTA766 Luka
Morgan Freeman is a good man. He earned his life the old fashioned way, hard work, commitment, perseverance, study, willingness to make mistakes, willingness to change, belief in one's self. Wow !
I enjoyed Morgan Freeman in a thriller--7-- where he was a detective that had seen too much gore and killing. He assumed the character so smoothly. There was a scene where he and another mature actor stood together in the distance surveying the landscape and considering how to handle a series of murders.
The entire video was impactful. My Favorite rule was Build Word of Mouth, that creates longevity, a solid reputation, and is the best from of advertisement that money will never give you(especially if you was in selling products and / or services). Great video Evan #Believenation #BTA28

I never did meet Morgan Freeman, but watching this gives me the feeling he could be my family. I know he is not but a calm voice a great actor, a great teacher and he would be a great brother. Morgan Freeman from my soul You are the best actor, producer, and narrator.and without that I ever have met you I am sure you are also a great Friend I respect you and love the movies. But most of all I love you as a person that is just what I feel if I watch and listen to you, thank you to make my life better if I see you on the screen I salute you:)
I love Morgan Freeman! I didn't learn anything new, because the strength of his character comes across in the characters he portrays. I did however, feel inspired by seeing this collection of clips. He is always inspiring.
Mr. Freeman hit it right on the nose. I was a clinical instructor for students in a particular healthcare field of study. One day a student approached me while I was working in the ICU. She was scheduled to take her registry test that following Monday morning and confided in me that she feared she was not going to pass her registry test. She told me she was going to fail the test. I responded. "Yes, you are". She flipped and asked me how could I say that and speak to her in that manner. After she got that out her system. I explained to her why she was going to fail the test. my answer was simple. You believe and you have convinced yourself that you are going to fail. How can you possibly expect any other outcome. Walking into that testing site and taking the test "Hoping" to pass when you are going in to the test site believing and having convinced yourself you will fail. I learned the power of a positive mindset cognitively. As a young man who was a competitive high diver in high school. I was terrified of heights. However, I was a fearless young man when it came to my abilities and the knowledge that there is nothing I cannot do if I put my mind to it. I mean in anything, I choose to do. All I have to do is truly believe I can do it and go at it with that mind set. That is the secret. "Believe". in diving. I would climb the ladder of a 3 meter diving board never looking over because that interrupted the intense concentration I required knowing if I pictured myself going through the dive in my mind. My body would automatically follow through, do it. If I stopped, paused for a nano second and thought about busting my ass. Then that was the outcome. The point here is. If you can think it, You CAN do it. But you must believe in self . A Positive Mindset. Semper Fi.
Inspiring clips. I loved the 9th, and must say to all aspiring actors, if any tutor/coah and I mean ANY, no matter how carismatic they may be, advise you about çompromising your values by whatever stupid reason(like: "being ethnic and thus should settle for less"), just chuck them away and find one that respects your sense of truthfully legitimit principals. And in the end if nothing out there that does, go and make your own staff. That's what I am doing right now and little doubt I had just vanished after this clip. Thank you for sharing this

That power lies in myself and my willingness to not compromise who I am for a quick sale or a name to fame. I believe in revolution and the power of love, and more importantly in people. The potential to be great and believe in a life where who we are as individuals is good enough to manifest our own version of success. Thank you, Morgan Freeman.
my favorite ones always do your best and learn from others.

That would make my day
"If you can imagine it you can do it" How true
Who knows, maybe someday. #Believe :) #BTA1655 Veljko
The main message I got was: he was very talented since age 8. That wins the race. The pep talk is nice to hear to keep yourself motivated in daily life and helping seeing things from another/better view.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching Justin. :) #BTA248 Shine
Don't let the "results" deter you.
Still become? That's why he became successful. You can't fake and try to like something
New Future Builder I hate it that some people to jump extra hoops to live in this life. So glad he became successful but the excess stress is not right.
Yea but he said at times it was really hard, because he struggled so much.
Be courageous in life is my favourite rule of Morgan Freeman. It means you can achieve a lot in your life when you have courage to take a risk and to take what you want! God bless Morgan Freeman!❤️
Totally agree with that, #Believing you can. 💪😊 - Feb
MR Electric Company were Morgan Freeman got his start, doing children's educational shows
What a good Man i love his values
Morgan Freeman is a Man of independents
#Believe :) #BTA1641 Veljko
Yes I remember him on the Electric Company children's show..."Hey You Guys......!"
Remember he’s a professional actor. Will will never know the truth of how he actually started off. There is no such thing as rags to riches. All of the actors that are big come from the elite class, pharaohs, etc.
Agreed
Haha, HE IS ZZZZZ DRACULA!!!!!!
i love Morgan Freeman. through the years he's had his ups and downs but he's who he is today and in his niche, finely sculpted for all of us to enjoy his talent and wisdom. he's a national treasure

His confidence and his intelligence is amazing ♥️🤗

Great video! Be courageous. We have the power within us to change our lives.
Glad you liked it. :) Thanks for the comment and for watching. #BelieveNation #BTA247 Shine
Every time I hear his voice I can clearly hear from memory, "Highteous, Righteous, Outta-sighteous!!"
Thanks for this video. Mr. Freeman deserves the recognition.
Thanks for watching #Believe :) #BTA1643 Veljko

"It's always a learning experience", but only if you are LISTENING and HEARING, and in LEARNING mode. Hard to find these days.
Shawshank redemption was translated into hebrew as:"walls of hope".

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Barbara #Believe :) #BTA1643 Veljko
#3 "Everybody can" that's it man.

Man the day I open the news and read that something has happened to this national treasure, I will weep like a baby. Same thing with Stephen Fry....

I absolutely love Morgan Freeman.. He is such a talent and a smart man that I wish more of were like him...
#Believe :) #BTA1655 Veljko
I enjoyed Morgan Freeman in a thriller--7-- where he was a detective that had seen too much gore and killing. He assumed the character so smoothly. There was a scene where he and another mature actor stood together in the distance surveying the landscape and considering how to handle a series of murders.
Thanks for watching #Believe :) #BTA1656 Veljko
This is what wisdom looks and sounds like.
The entire video was impactful. My Favorite rule was Build Word of Mouth, that creates longevity, a solid reputation, and is the best from of advertisement that money will never give you(especially if you was in selling products and / or services). Great video Evan #Believenation #BTA28

Hi Evan,
I love the top ten rules for success videos. I watch them everyday. I was wondering if you could please make one for Kerri Washington from the show "Scandal." Thank you!

Semper Fi.
Thanks for sharing your story, indeed, always #Believe. :) #BTA1637 Veljko
