Nice way to retire. For me, I believe retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My wife and I has spent same number of years in the civil service, she is investing through a wealth manager and myself through the 401k. We both still earning towards having our retirement.

Insane, how did I even find this video. I'm literally here living in Tokyo, doubting myself, wondering if I'm strong enough to live my dreams. Thank you so much to this man and this channel, really needed to hear this.
It's great advice. When I believed myself and took it slow, I was able to create a tutoring company with over 100 kids and 3 locations in Guangzhou, China. It wasn't so much COVID that broke it, but letting my wife buy a house, knowing that it wouldn't bring us happiness. If I had seen this video earlier, perhaps I would have chosen happiness, which does indeed lead to lasting success.
Free speech: Age denial crap it’s just scapegoating the pain of older people Don’t smile don’t Hand me your politics. If you don’t validate my feelings I will lose my mind this year this is crap; people who are almost 60 are almost dead: Dont Downplay my pain and suffering don’t Trivialize my feelings and in my mid-50s I’ll be dead by 60 if the stress and political crap like this doesn’t shut up. Garbage. Sure 9-5 is faster death but don’t trivialize my health problems and severe Poverty, the Rich and the corporations
Personally, I'm sick of 'adding value to other people's lives' - I want (just for a change) for someone to add value to MY life but I'm nearly 70 and it's never happened. I've run myself ragged helping people, being there for people, comforting people and making other people's lives more happy and fulfilled but when my own life has fallen apart, not one person has been by my side, I'm left to cope alone. So I say "sod it" - now I've made myself No.1 because no-one ever has.
I hope karma does come back around and reward you for the efforts you put into others. I imagine they all remember you for that time you helped, unfortunately most people don't share their gratitude.
I could’ve typed your words word for word. Everyone of them is applicable to my current life. And just as you are doing, at the age of 56 , I’m finally putting myself first. I am minding my business and taking care of me. Your words were like a beautiful affirmation and I hope everything you’ve given out comes back to you tenfold!❤
Hope you didn’t take your choice to be that people pleaser person out on your children or your loved ones. It’s not their fault you chose to people please and then resented others for it
This video popped up on my screen for a reason. I am 60 soon to be 61. I had a failure after failure in relationship, business, finances, but I have never felt like giving up on myself. This yr I've been refocusing my mindset by doing exactly what he is saying. Self talk, journaling, and written a letter to my future self. I've listened all the motivational speakers of the past 30 yrs. I've also recently joined a travel club business that will allow me travel around the world for pennies on the dollar and earn an incredible income. I now feel this new chapter in my life will be exciting and for of joy. No longer to I hold on the past. 🙏🏾
This brings me comfort, life feels like it moves so fast, too fast, and I worry I may have missed a chance to have a good life. Work feels like it dominates so much of your life and leaves little time for anything else.
I came across your channel through this video-case studies are incredibly valuable, and I'm eager to see more in the future! Building wealth involves establishing routines, like consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for smart investments.
That sounds like a good plan. In the past two years, working closely with a financial market specialist, I've built a six-figure diversified stock portfolio. Now, I aim to diversify even more this year.
Talking about a financial market specialist, do you consider anyone worthy of recommendations? I have about 100k to test the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount... Thanks

Watching this captivating video stirs up painful memories of the recent end of my 4-year relationship. My beloved partner chose to depart, leaving me with an unyielding ache. Despite my relentless efforts to reconcile, I find myself grappling with frustration and an inability to envision a future without her. Despite attempts to purge her from my mind, I remain haunted by her absence, feeling compelled to express my longing here.
Releasing your grip on someone you deeply care about can be a formidable challenge. I found myself in a comparable predicament when my 5 year relationship came to an end. I exhausted every avenue to reunite with him, eventually turning to a spiritual advisor for guidance, whose intervention bring us back.

there's a book called whispers of manifestation on borlest , and it talks about how using some secret tehniques you can attract almost everything in life it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal
I was able to do a lot at age 60. I was really active at age 70. Then it all went down hill. I'm now 75 and trying to claw my way back up to where I was. I don't have expectations that are unattainable, just realistic. I saw the same thing in my father. He was always a physical example but I saw what time and age can do. I have become my father.
We all have time and aging but it doesn’t mean we are anyone but humans. Balance… Human existence with spiritual existence and when your body fails you have a whole new level of existence to rely on and continue to build.
This gave me goosebumps & I watched a lot of interviews. Most people answer your questions & look at you, the floor or in the distance. He looked straight at the camera like he was talking to each of us. Powerful ❤
I am 78 and still have a lot of good health and energy fo life. There are friends who are 15 to 20 years younger but in thier mental and physical health are 20 years older than me. So much of life lies between you ears.
This is a good interview. I notice when I travel out of America whenever I meet Americans living in other countries they seem so much happier. I don’t even know of anyone near 60 in my neighborhood like this. Most are on medication, stare at the ground all day long and complain. Literally.
Isolation will lead to depression. I am moving abroad shortly, I had purchased a house a couple years ago, people do not have much. , but they are happier , you get hellos and smiles . Here in the US, are Not exactly friendly and happy. To much stress and loneliness.
What? 60 is young. I saw a comment that said everyone he knew that were in their 50s are taking meds. I was shocked!!! No!! My husband couldn’t get us pregnant 😢. No regrets. I left him because he had an addiction. He passed away a month ago from fentanyl.😢
This man’s mindset and viewpoint explains exactly what is wrong with some people. It’s their pessimistic MINDSET. He obviously has an optimistic view on life. Some people haven’t freed their minds from the pessimistic negatives in life(in general) instead of being optimistic, setting goals and working to achieve their goals. Too much negativity and focus on blaming others and having ‘but’ excuses. They CHOOSE to complain instead of taking an active role in their own lives to improve their future. There biggest problem is not anyone else except the person looking back at them in the mirror. A person’s pessimistic views on life is primarily what is holding them back from achieving their goals. Change your mindset, change your life. Why aren’t the pessimists not enjoying some successes in their lives? Let them tell us. This man found his passion and is happy having achieved his goals and is healthy for his age and living well. It’s like he found the key to personal happiness. Having an optimistic mindset while living in this world of all kinds of crazy can be challenging and intimidating but to achieve any worthy goals in life it’s necessary to be focused and determined to overcome challenges no matter what. An optimistic mindset is obviously key to obtaining any goals to being successful. A positive mindset is needed to achieve even what seems like far fetched dreams. How is your mindset? Pessimistic. Optimistic.❤️
@@planetwalker798 It was not my intention to get deeper than encouraging those with a pessimistic mindset to change it to an optimistic mindset to their own benefit. Obviously a person who has mentally and physically limitations may not be able to achieve certain goals and be a success. I understand that, nevertheless my commentary is simply to highlight what a great difference having a positive mindset can make in a person’s life in general. And if there is nothing to limit a person from achieving their goals in life but they themselves, oftentimes it’s mindset issue. Hence my reference to the person in the mirror. It’s in my nature to encourage and motivate people to have an optimistic view of the life they have and make something worthy of it.❤️
I left China last year after spending 12 years there as a teacher. I'm left to visit family after not seeing them for 5 years due to covid, and also to live in Sevilla, Spain. I'm now in Sevilla and while it's beautiful, the city in China is where I belong. I'm going back as soon as possible. I'm super grateful of this chance to come to Sevilla because I'm continuing my teaching career after a year out, so here's to a year in Sevilla before I return back to my old city. I can't wait for that, and to enjoy this next year in Spain! ❤❤❤ I can hold my head up high, proud I had the courage to try this.❤
I’m in Shanghai now teaching at a kindergarten. Let me tell you something, China is a stepping stone to earn money/get a degree to get you to where you want you be in life but it’s NOT the end goal. Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!

I really needed this. I enjoyed life in my 20s, but worked extremely hard so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor by 35. Year 35 started out with me traveling to several new countries, enjoying the fruits of my labor, and being in the best physical shape I've even been in. Less than a year later, my mental health took a very weird turn that I didn't see coming. Outside of a bad relationship, I didn't experience any real trauma. This mental health decline paused my travel goals (Brazil, Europe) for 2024, but thank GOD for therapy, mountain biking, and being around better people I am ready to hit the skies again in 2025. Ironically, Japan is my bucket list place to see, and I can't wait! I'm back playing again and just learning to live more in the present, and only focusing on having positive people around me.
I’m 14 years younger but I can relate to the sudden mental health crisis. I developed very bad OCD this summer which threw a lot of plans into doubt. I wasn’t even sure I would be able to get back to college, but I am back!

No wrinkles on his spirit-that's a youthful spirit. A youthful appearance is one aspect, but the core of his youthfulness is his youthful mindset! Bravo.
This man's story resonated with me. My path to a life of freedom had some similarities, but the main difference was I had a rather late start. I didn't begin my career until I was 32. I didn't begin achieving goals, short and long term, until my late 30s - early 40s. I left my cushy six figures career last year at the age of 44. The only other time I felt this liberated was when I left the military at the age of 22 with an honorable discharge. However, this ecstatic feeling of liberation was more intense when I left my job last year. I'm in the process of moving overseas for new adventures while I still have energy. This man is a great example to strive to be similar to.
At 47, I took retirement claims for SSA for 16.3 years and got my Masters degree from a Law school, and I am here to tell you that we’ve all been duped and fear in adulthood is the killer.
Thank you for this interview! At 59, I smile because I feel exactly like Winz. I have slowed everthing down. I breathe, meditate and I do what I desire. Life is a game, not a battle. So I PLAY with it. LIfe is a moment by moment experience so I I breath in each moment and exhale all that is not my desire. I am grateful.
*Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing"* drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 85,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. One thing I learned about life is that whenever I used the WORD, “Later” as a reminder that I will finish later usually wound up being a task never completed! I have changed to taking on task’s that seemed insurmountable as 1 thing at a time until I look back later and see my progress! My progression through task’s at this point are happening so fast that it leaves others in awe asking, “How Did He Do This When I Have Worked All Of My Life?” This is the Awsome Power of not looking at the Top Of The Mountain In Awe, but removing it as an obstacle one pebble at a time!
I think he's very inspiring and has the right attitude, but something tells me he doesn't have many other responsibilities other than himself. It's a lot harder to take that leap when you have a wife and kids. You often sacrifice your original dreams to create another dream with your family. You can manage your feelings and direction by taking that attitude, but your priorities become not one of me, but we.
@@nerigarcia7116 I hear you. I raised 3 kids as single Mom. Now, almost 70 taking care of my Mom. I can't leave her to even take a 15 minute walk. So to soothe my loss I eat ice cream, and mourn. Recently, I reminded myself why I chose this path! I love my Mom!! I didn't quit living my dreams because I was tied down. I quit enjoying the dream I was living! To walk through these years of her life, of my life together! What a blessing! So many things I have learned, ways that I have grown on this path! I am grateful to be here! Whatever else, that I could be doing... will never hold a candle to the love I share with my Mama! Thank you Lord for your love and patience with me! And thank you for being able to live in a house with 2 sets of stairs for me to climb!! God is good! Just because there's "more" out there, doesn't mean that the best isn't right here!!
Was thinking the same thing, would be interesting to know if he has any other responsibilities besides himself, like elderly parents to see about etc...I imagine I could be very positive and happy everyday if I, me and myself was my only thought 🤔
What an amazing video to come across at 6am in the morning whilst I’m sitting in bed having a cuppa tea🙏 I turned 53 this year. My 4 kids have grown up and my partner and I broke up this year. I now live on my own with my dog. Some days feel so strange and sad as I have never been on my own. I was a very young mother at the age of 18 so I’ve always taken care of children, a husband and then a partner. This video has helped me feel alive this morning. Makes me want to get out of bed and start living my life with a joy and an abundant mindset…thank you I really needed to hear this message today 🙌🙌🙌
I really appreciate this channel. It's so full of positivity and there's so much wisdom being shared here. Learning from older people means a lot because they have gone through a lot in life, and hopefully, we can benefit from their experiences too
I'm 65 and agree wholy with this man. Since retiring in Feb I walk slower, think slower because nothing is usually urgent, eat well, exercise and know 'all is well' in my world. Lifes good 😊
I think people don't know how to really enjoy the life. Working, Eating, sleeping and playing phone posting selfies to look important to imaginary friends on Facebook or TikTok. I think that is one sad, boring life. It's not about survival, it's about experience. How much it costs to observe the sunrise? It used to be a standard routine not so long ago. Everybody was healthier, energetic and full of life.
This is a good interview. A testament to how following your passion keeps you young and energetic. It's not for everyone though. Most people want a relationship, family, and security when they're older. That really isn't compatible with living abroad and going wherever the wind blows. You can definitely learn something from the mindset though. He would be an interesting person to sit and have a coffee with for an hour or two. Of all the people featured on this channel, this guy would near the top of the list. But you know who would definitely be at the top of the list? It's you Will. I think you're just as fascinating as any guest you've ever interviewed.
My experience is that you get a period of good success every so many years (not sure the time span). You will have times that will have you so very close to giving up, but as long as you stay at it, you will reach the next success phase. Capitalizing and preparing for the next downtime is the key to having less stress in between and building on the last phase.
An extremely insightful video ! Actually, mind-boggling. Two things so very true: Later never comes, and yes, sadly, dreams DO die. Don't fold. Your "comfort zone" systematically diminishes you.
Here are mine: Keep company with people who are happy and bring joy to your life Don’t worry about other people’s jobs, homes, cars Live everyday like it’s the last Wake up early and get your body moving Make personal to do/goals/travel lists Have something in life that you can call your own Be aware of what you put in your body Do something you love because you will be good at what you love Trust your intuition always

You,ve got this bro 💪
You totally got this. You're there for a reason, step into yourself. Because you are everything and anything.
You've got it! You know that, right? Sanding all the love from Poland to you! Keep it up and do not give up!
Don’t give up, you can do it
This man’s mindset is brilliant. Resonates. 〰️

This guy should definitely be a teacher. What an inspiration!
If he wanted to, he would have already. That's his point!
From this day forward God will shine His Face On You! May you get everything you want with joy In Jesus Christ Name!
yes, same hers.
I like to know what travel club business you joined. Sounds great, something I would be interested in.
Good luck on your dreams and business 🙏🏾
@llemons9812 could you please share what this travel club is you mention here? Sounds like something right up my alley! Also in my 50s. TIA 🙏🏻
This was genius! Train yourself to default to the positive not negative. So much wisdom here. Thank you ❤
This brings me comfort, life feels like it moves so fast, too fast, and I worry I may have missed a chance to have a good life.

Intriguing! I'm curious, how did you find a spiritual counselor, and what's the most effective way for me to reach her?

I was able to do a lot at age 60. I was really active at age 70. Then it all went down hill. I'm now 75 and trying to claw my way back up to where I was. I don't have expectations that are unattainable, just realistic.
I saw the same thing in my father. He was always a physical example but I saw what time and age can do. I have become my father.

Exactly!

Love the way you worded what many of us “know” but get tripped up on this plane (Earth) rather than having a more holistic view. 🙏🏽
It’s in my nature to encourage and motivate people to have an optimistic view of the life they have and make something worthy of it.❤️
Exactly 🧡
He’s right! Right!! RIGHT!!!

I needed to hear this. He has so many messages that resonate with me right now.

I'm almost sixty, too. I've done England, Singapore, Japan and I now live in Thailand. So I am sorta qualified to second that.
From bako myself! This community needs to hear from more people like this.
God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me

What a gem. Thanks for sharing! Found me right in time 🙏🏽
One thing I learned about life is that whenever I used the WORD, “Later” as a reminder that I will finish later usually wound up being a task never completed!
Besides, I'm only almost 70! I have at least another 30 years or so to do other stuff!!

One of the most eye opening and influential interviews out there. THANK YOU!!!
Thanks so much. You can actually have a coffee with Winz virtually if you join our community! And myself! The link is in our description :)
I moved abroad and started a family. You can go where the wind blows. You're doing it anyway.
This is encouraging, thank you. 🫶
