I was abused until I was 13, watched my cousin get murdered in front of me, lost all my D1 scholarships my senior year due to concussions got on drugs bought a bike and ended watching a close friend die in my hands. I have ptsd ,severe anxiety, severe depression and to top it up I got back in football.. I went to a juco in Cali , and partied instead of focusing.. I left there and came to a college close to home.. Long story short I was kicked out for drinking in my dorm from stress and mental pain . I felt like giving up for good and taking my life. But I realized we have a choice to overcome this pain. I'm deciding to reinvent myself and finish what I started and motivate people on my way to my dreams. I will be a light to someone who has felt so much pain like me. You can do it, you can be great.. God bless you

This speech and Jim Carrey’s speech on life(which I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it already) are the only things left in this world, asides from my beautiful Christian mother, that have given me hope to continue life. I was a complete atheist since about 15 (I just turned 20) and recently have been overwhelmed by the existence of god. I don’t know why or how but on my last leg as I began to contemplate suicide I could feel him. I believe it’s because my mother would never stop praying for me. I recently flunked out of college, and began to feel hopeless until this video. I always said I’d never get a tattoo, but I’ve changed my mind and wish to get the words “Fall Forward” across my upper chest under my collar bone. This speech and Jim Carrey’s speech on life(which I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it already) are the only things left in this world, asides from my beautiful Christian mother, that have given me hope to continue life. I was a complete atheist since about 15 (I just turned 20) and recently have been overwhelmed by the existence of god. I don’t know why or how but on my last leg as I began to contemplate suicide I could feel him. I believe it’s because my mother would never stop praying for me. I recently flunked out of college, and began to feel hopeless until this video. I always said I’d never get a tattoo, but I’ve changed my mind and wish to get the words “Fall Forward” across my upper chest under my collar bone. May god bless you all, and don’t ever give up, I’m at the lowest point in my life, but I trust god to help me from here
