You are such a treasure Eirin! I am twice your age and disabled. Your channel showed up on my feed this week at a time when I was feeling quite angry and bitter. After watching your video about how you became disabled, I was in tears. You reminded me of all that I have to be grateful for. It was a lesson in humility and love that I have needed for so long. Thank you for sharing your story! You have restored in me something that I had lost so long ago. I wish you all the love and beauty that life holds. You are truly one of God's angels on earth.

You’re very comfortable articulating your feelings, thoughts and real life. This makes it an absolute pleasure to listen to you.
My dear sister passed in August of 21. I miss her terribly every day. She was diagnosed with a brain tumour and needed surgery asap. The risks were much lower than actually having it. Sadly it wasn’t and she woke being a paraplegic, she couldn’t even move her head without assistance and she was mute. Her eyes were the only thing that let us know she was still in there.
Exactly nine weeks post op she closed her eyes and left us.
I was always in tune with others with special care but since then I have delved deeper and reach out to people who may need me.
I’m not sure if this makes any sense ❤

As a full-time caregiver for my husband, I know there are times that your husband may show a bit of impatience or frustration. IF you ever notice those behaviors from him, please know it comes from a place of fatigue, and is not an indication of regret or lack of love. ❤️

@@eirinceciliegjedrem I have to say Eirin you have the most accurate English captions/subtitles I have ever seen on UA-cam and I was actually wondering if you have them typed out for you or it may just be that you speak in such a relaxing calm manner that your captions are perfect, not a word missed. The auto generated captions can be quite the challenge on UA-cam lol but yours are perfect but thankyou for asking beautiful. I had cochlear implant surgery 2 years after I lost my hearing but strangely enough I love the silence now lol. The Lord works in mysterious ways 🙏 💛. I've always believed everything happens for a reason. I personally feel you would be a great motivational speaker with such a beautiful warm smile and your calm tone. If I can ever do anything to help you in anyway please never hesitate to ask. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend lovely 💛xx

Well hello there my friend! Love listening to your answers and thought process as you answer these questions. Interesting reading the comments too. This is lots of “food for thought”. I agree with you, so many are dealing with things in their lives… some that are not obvious by just looking at them. It saddens me that some don’t have the support and mental strength to deal with their struggles. I commend anyone who is out there sharing their lives with others without holding back, being truthful, and encouraging others to realize how important they are in the big picture. Having been a police officer (retired 2 years ago), I can confirm to you that there’s so much to be thankful for. Many need help, encouragement, to be heard, and shown kindness. Also, some people don’t take advice from their loved ones and just simply shut down… for this reason it’s important to hear what you need to hear from a complete stranger (often has more impact on them). Some have asked me “wow, you’ve been a cop for so long, you must of experienced and seen so many bad people?”… and to that I respond…”in my opinion, there are far more good people out there than bad”. I’m confident that just one person can change the lives of many. I think a channel like yours can allow some people to find themselves again and realize that they’re valuable… because everyone is absolutely valuable and can contribute in different areas of life. Keep on shedding “the light” 💡in your own way and we’ll be here to listen 🙂💕🇨🇦

Since I enjoy symphonic metal, I adore Floor Jansen and her chameleon voice ❤️ I like to listen to arias, as there’s rarely any operas to experience live where I live. 🙂

I enjoyed hearing you speak about your faith. I could relate to it. I believe that the so-called “meaning of Life” is to Love as He Loved. Simply Love. It seems for many humans, that is the hardest thing to do.
And it is nice to see someone else “bedridden” . I know that you can get into your wheelchair, too. I only get in mine for when I have to go to a doctor’s office. You are much younger than I!

@@eirinceciliegjedrem not too bad. Not long. I was a certified home health aide in California for years. I then went to a hospital setting. There I took care of different levels of care. Some pretty cool old folks to very young adults.

I identify myself as a born-again child of God. And if you are saved, and received YeshUa/Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then I will view you as my soul sister too. I think It was me who mentioned Joni Eareckson. (Oh yeah, she pronounces her name "Johnny", not "Joanie". I learned of her as a teenager back in 1980, right after I got saved in January. And her diving mistake actually happened back in 1967 (I can't believe i was only 2 years old). 😊 Where does all that time go?! 😅
