I did the oatmeal last night. I woke up and looked at it. It was creamy and awesome!! I used my 1985 Crock-Pot I bought at Goodwill for ten bucks!!

Sophie, so happy you are now cooking oil free! I have been oil free for about 10 years now. I use organic arrowroot powder instead of tapioca to thicken! Great video!

Thanks for the awesome plant-based recipes and for saving me $66 on a 360 Slow Cooker! It makes me feel better that I’ll be using a slow cooker that’s 100% non-toxic and doesn’t leach any lead or chemicals into the food.

I had the same thought, because she didn't say, but they appeared pre-cooked/canned to me.

i have bee using a slow cooker for ages. before i used to only use it when i was in because i work during day & teach 2 eves a week to adults. Now that i am home working for day job i can use slow cooker and keep eye on vs away from home 12 hrs.. sometimes when i cook a meal like stew or hot pot after a while it tastes vinegary. i wondered if it was something i was doing? in cold months i don't put slow cooker meals in fridge. or is it a certain veg i use that ferments. Any ideas?

I don't understand why you start the onion on the hob when it is cooked in water - it would be just the same in the slow cooker, but would save energy. Regarding the porridge - 3 minutes in the microwave and 3 minutes sitting and you have the same effect - again saving energy.

I thought soy products are one of the top 10 GMO foods, at least here in America. Right up there with corn, baby.

I learned recently that of its organic soy it’s very good for you. As long as it’s organic😉
