Moises, this was a job I said I would never ever do. Well it happened and I could not have done it without this video. Super presentation. Thanks so much!
Thank you for your clear and easy to understand video. I needed to replace my dash turn signal lights. I went to an auto parts store and found replacement bulbs. They are Sylvania 2721 12V 1.2 watt bulbs and they were just under $8 for 2. Thanks again for your video.
This was an excellent presentation Moises. My panel had all lights out so I replaced all of my bulbs with OEM bulbs. However, not all lights came on. I was able to use alcohol and cotton swabs to clean the contacts and I purposely did not turn the light bulb all the way [I turned them about 90%] . When I did this, good contact was made and all lights came on. The panel is bright. Thanks for your help.
Thank you so much. These steps were so easy to follow. Replaced all of the bulbs with LED Monster 10 pack from Amazon. Oh, and the tweezers is definitely the way to go, to ensure a snug fit.
Excellent instructions. Doesn't address my problem, but very clear and every thing you need to know. I like the tool, parts and gloves shots featured, as well.
@@MrMoises27 The climate control array, radio/clock, and gear indicator in the dash do not light when the headlights are turned on. Other dash lights are ok. It's a used 2004 CRV. Someone messed with the electrical before I bought it; there was another problem we fixed. There may be a work around, but the cluster part is nearly $1200 from Honda and not a good one to buy used. Thanks for asking. Got other problems, too, lol.
Thank you Moises, I have a 2006 Honda CRV and my daughter was driving it at night and she told me that nearly the entire dashboard cluster (temp, fuel, speed, tach, etc,) stop working for a short will and then came back on, This occurred on a long trip after the vehicle had been sitting outside long enough that the battery needed to be recharged, Surprisingly, it has not reoccurred. I'm nervous about taking it on a long drive, do you have any suggestions or opinions about what happened?
Jose, in Amazon you can get different colors, the ones I got are original from lightbulbs from Honda. But I would suggest get only from Honda dealership, they will last longer.
I thought the same replacement on a 1998 volvo v70 was easy and simple (before I bought my 05 honda crv). Well the crv makes most jobs even more simple!

Hi, well you might be right, but I was told by the dealer advisor to avoid touching the light bulbs with my bare hands since fingerprints may damage the light bulb. It is hard to grab the light bulb with gloves but I did it just to make sure I won't have to replace it later. Thanks for your comment.
Still not sure how you got the bulb you ordered to fit inside the cluster on your car. The correct part number for your instrument cluster is 35505-SA5-003. At this point, what difference does it make.
You can get a whole pack of LEDs replace all of the bulbs for less than $20 for that single bulb
Thanks for the great video

Can you place LED BULBS instead of the OEM Honda ones? Thanks.
Yes, you can. I actually did it last month. It is not perfect but looks way better than before. I choose white LED lights instead of orange color.

Good question, not sure.
These are not halogen high intensity lamps, touching them with your fingers won't affect the life of the lamp.

Well I got the light bulb from Honda dealership, also they showed me the picture where it shows the part number and still working fine.
Also Dorman 539002
Always a critic. I put the same bulb in that he put in. Just like he said...dealer showed me the diagram as his. Worked with no problem. 2 years now.
