The tiny Train Town reminds me of the movie 🍿- Dinner for Schmucks! I absolutely love anything that’s miniature! So clever, the people who construct these things! I can imagine how much imagination and creativity you would need just to make a little teensy tree 🌳 for example! There is also a tiny city train set-up in the series -Sopranos…in the final episodes featuring in a mob hit in a toy store! The models were all set up as if a train disaster was happening just as the victim fell on the set - up. He was buying a new caboose so as to entice his son to play with him, as they were growing apart! I love the way this author describes everything to a tee! Thanx for reading this, it makes time fly during housework. I barely notice I’m so busy as my head is right into the stories! 💖🇦🇺💕✌️🌷🌼
As to be expected from Philip K. Dick, another strange, unusual story. The Reader/ Narrator is ideal. Brilliant! I only wish he had been available to read the Librivox range of Harrison's "Stainless Steel Rat" novels. Including "Bill the Galactic Hero" of course!
Wow…that’s a blast from the past! I haven’t thought about the Stainless Steel Rat series for years (I read them about 25-30 years ago!). They were really good. Thanks hon…That’s bought a smile of reminiscence to my face. 🙂👍🏻💕
I just got really weirded out thinking about Gary Coleman showing his TV date his giant train set. May he rest in peace and be 6ft tall in the afterlife!
@babalon…I’m 54 and still love anything miniature! This narrator read this brilliant story sooo well, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Have a great week! 🤗 ✌️🇦🇺💕
Suzanne Ito It’s so weird. I personally loved the reader but I can understand everyone has different tastes. Honestly I usually don’t even think about the reader except when it’s a man doing a woman’s voice. Sounds stupid
I absolutely 💯 love the narrator, he’s expressive and very skilled! He also has sadly passed away. The story was interesting and detail in the writer’s story was amazing, like watching a movie 🍿 in my imagination as I potter around the house! I’m a bit funny as I find myself subconsciously looking at the screen as if it is a movie 🍿 hahahaaar😝🤪 Anyway , greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 I love ❤️ listening to stories still!!!😁
This is great. It is almost like a twilight zone episode. Philip K Dick was truly a genius.
@elder…ikr?
I just commented on the exceptional detail! I can envision every single thing in my head, like watching a movie 🍿 lol 🤓✌️🇦🇺

I’m absorbed into the story like the character was with his town! Is it so hard to get a woman for these stories?

Parched Dry mouth.
Wish I could listen to this, I like Philip Dick. To bad, I can't stand the reader.
Everyone's a critic.
User---no, she's a realist. I don't care for the narration either. Do you expect everyone to like this because you do?

Same. Unlistenable.
