    Nice to watch this... it's very relaxing, I just got a c219 AMG and plan to carry out the same repairs.

    I saved up the doe and was gonna buy one of these. I love the shape and the fact its smaller than newer ml and gl 63's..ultimately I decided I was taking a risk I couldn't afford to take..the headbolts, air suspension, two turbo's and gas mileage steered me away..I love the SUV though, yours is beautiful..I had a 2003 ML 350 that drove over 216k and ran great so I ended up getting a newer 2015 ML 350 which was the last year of ML's.same motor as I had in 2003 so I trusted it..I only have a v6 but the gas mileage is good..I have a rear wheel drive ML..but yea I really wanted one of these, they are super fast and they look so aggressive.
    especially from the back with the dual dual exhaust and love the fender flares on your AMG also..Anyway, Take care. 😊

      You got everything right except these are the twin turbo ones. Mine is for sale right now, it’s been great for us but want to try something else. ML350 is a great choice for a plenty useful and good looking suv! Cheers!

      Having the same predicament now.. gle is only 40k and ml can be 25k but scared of the maintenance.. e63 2015 or 2016 still over 40..for the same m157 as the gle..

    This was a fun and very informative review to watch. Your enthusiasm is addictive. I'm thinking o buying one of these or the newer Bi Turbo version. Whats your opinion between the two? I've had E55 , 2007 E63 with this same motor and I do love the 6.2 normally aspirated grunt of this engine. I currently have an 03 CL65 cloned Cl600 with a Renntech tune and 20" Forgiato wheels. If you have a chance someday you must drive a twin turbo V12. Amazing engine and performance with the CL65 specs. Keep up the great channel..........

      Thank you very much, personally I prefer the naturally aspirated versions over the twin turbos just for ease of maintenance and reliability. Plus power numbers are not much different.
      I’m actually selling this one soon as much as we love it, have some other build plans and we love our ML55 too much to let it go, so someone will be getting a steal of a deal on this one.
      I’d love to try out the V12 bi turbo, those ones I think are fantastic, I’d love to manual swap one.
      Appreciate the support!!

    nice truck. i own a 2008 ml350. i like the handling but the power isn't there for the fuel it consumes. looking for a clean low mileage 550. if i'm gonna burn gas and high test at that i matter as well have the performance to go with it.

    I’m considering selling my w211 e55 AMG to buy the newest model year ML63 AMG I can find with lowest miles I can afford . Reason being is me & my girlfriend are thinking about moving out of California. Looking into states like Montana / Tennessee / Colorado . So I want to have a vehicle that’s much more practical in those states .the fact it’s AWD & higher off the ground since it’s an SUV . And I can drive it in all weather conditions or off road if needed. Unlike my e55 that I don’t even drive in the rain . sad to say this but I’ve had alot of fun with my E it’s just time .. I would say my w163 ML500 definitely has an impact on this idea because its a dream to drive off-road just as much on pavement for a non AMG Mercedes Benz . I also love ML55 & have looked into buying one of them but why not upgrade right to the ML63 because they are newer in age . The ml55 is oldie but a Goldie .

    How did you lower the car?

    Do you think the head bolts would’ve held up without replacing them and just keep the oil change at every 3k miles?

    • @ANDERZENAMG
      @ANDERZENAMG  11 місяців тому +1

      I think they would have for quite a while, it's not oil changes that affect them its coolant and driving the car regularly. Keep up on those and they should be fine if not already affected. that's the tough part, no way to know without pulling them.

    Hi from Perth Western Australia. Does it have paddles? If yes, Does it rev match on the manual down shifts. Cheers

      Hello there from Seattle! It doesn’t rev match but you can time it manually pretty decent

      @@ANDERZENAMG awesome, I will be in the market soon. Had 2015 srt8 , tuned etc , was fantastic. Always wanted a Wk1 but hard to find here and just not as nice in any way to the ML 63. So I will start the hunt soon for a ML. Cheers
