Great Video ❤ My ML 63 AMG is a 2006 Model, bought it with 53’000km and has today 10th of March 2024 reached 366’600km without any significant issues. Driving from south of Switzerland 🇨🇭 weekly to northern Switzerland, pass roads, snow, ice, heavy rain and also a lot of German roads with up to 150mph. I will drive this c,ar, as long as my hard beats 😊 (I’m just 60). Beside this I have still my first brand new car I bought ever back in 1998 GMC Yukon, with 335’000km. This one I can’t destroy either 😅.
Ive had mine purchased 4 years back at 162,000 miles from Swiderski Auto up in Buffalo for 10k. The car essentially had new tires and brakes but zero maintenance done up under the hood. At a fuel up after purchase I noticed the front of the engine literally spilling out oil. I needed timing chain cover gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil filter housing gasket, rear SAM module but do water intrusion from taillights (keys wouldnt unlock doors and battery was discharging), and I had water intrusion through the grillslits in the hood which would spill onto the coils and kick out my Main ECU. I would say the most costly things were water related so I now keep her covered with a nice waterproof cover even though Ive fixed the intrusion issues. The Airpump just went out for the suspension that was a DIY for $140 so really not bad. Even if I have $5,000 in repairs for a total of $15,000, putting on another 10,000 miles. Its been actually treating me pretty well and is my go to winter vehicle with hitch and rear DVD options; its very adept. Starts every time, although with a rattle when cold because I believe the timing chain guides up front are loose. Im living with that may fix soon. I Love The over- engineering of the Truck and I have been learning and fixing alot of systems myself. I have an 07 Navigator L that I compare it to with more miles at 240,000 but same year truck. That engine never needed a single gasket at 240k miles just regular oil changes every 5k however, The Navigator has body rust eating away by the driver and rear passenger entry, power steering is gone, shocks are also down in the rear(just put in a new pump and thats not it likely ride height sensor). Also the transmission is going, overdrive gone but what can be expected at 240,000 miles. Build quality wise the German 2007 truck is hands down a winner with ZERO Rust Anywhere and no catastrophic issues. Lots of Little engine leaks sure, but a DAMN Good, Solid, Extremely Over Built, Extremely Fast, Daily SUV. The ML63 is worth about $12,000 currently and the Navigator about $4k in its current state. Navigator cost me $14,000 at 130,000 miles and Ive used it way more sure, only a few small repairs here and there. But Ive Lost $10,000 in Value in that truck where in the Mercedes, even with all the repairs, Ive only lost about $3,000 in value. Both really are great trucks, I appreciate the heck out of the engineering on both sides. But at some point the Navigator becomes a beater thats not worth investing into, while The Benz remains a Benz.
Just bought mine today. 2007 ML63 Amg for $10,400. 184000 kms. Your review is dead on. You can drive this truck like a grandpa.....or unleash it and have a never ending smile on your face.
@@illinoiscarter9279 I’m in the Middle East, got it for 17k $ . In the meantime not thinking of selling it but I highly recommend you buy one , you will love it
Just subbed. I daily drive a 2000 ML55 400+ miles/wk but looking into a ML63, 2007 to 2010 for a backup... was looking into an ml550 but the power and looks of the 63 are so stunning! Also have a 2005 Cayenne Turbo and 2015 Cayenne S is wife's daily. TC in Annapolis MD
The best vehicle I have ever had. Engine is a magically good, it roars so cool you just want to floor it. Sadly 6.2 is gone and they put Turbos in everything now.
somereal nope, im just a regular bloke, I didnt say its a best car i said its the best car I ever owned. If I was you Id start practicing reading before commenting about cars 😂😂😂
Great review! Thanks. I'm not sure what's up with those wheels but the tires look way too small and the back spacing on the wheels looks wrong. They are sucked into the car way too far...... I still want it.
I believe it's just because he has the optional 21-in rims which makes the tire profile even smaller than the "standard" 20-in AMG rims/tires. TC in Annapolis MD
S***, Johnson, audio video. The difference between that 550 and the 63. The 63. Is more aggressive and it has morewhat's power and the 550 is more recruiting type highway motor you know, to travel in vacation, especially if you got AGL 550. And I have a 2015 and that thing runs so smooth and nice. And then put you to sleep, maybe 1 day I'll trade in the Geo 515. Get a 63 right now. I don't see, that's happening. There's this fine $50. Great job and it has enough Horsepower for me. Over 469 horsepower. And it has the TV monitors for the kids. The coffee cups heating Chas dual son booth is unbelievable for s.U.V

Thank you for the review. How is the reliability of these cars compared to x5m e70?
Bmw less fuel consumption, and better feels wheel
More reliable than X5 m, the AMG engines and gears never dies … a Benz mechanic told me that
@@samsoum28 thank you
