SpongeBob SquarePants is a very optimistic character, and because of that, he attracts positive experiences into his life. In this video, I take a look at the episode "Idiot Box" to see what positive messages we can get from it.
*The footage and images featured in this video are for commentary and education which are protected under the Fair Use laws of the United States Copyright Act of 1976.
Inspired by the Love of Jesus Christ
Verse of the Day (as related to the topic of this video):
"Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!" - Mark 9:23 (AMP)
A movie I highly recommend: The Gospel According to Matthew (starring a very animated and engaging acting performance by Bruce Marchiano, who plays Jesus). This is a word-for-word adaptation that has a unique take on the body language and charisma of Jesus, and also makes it easier to understand and quicker to read the story. I am hopeful that this movie gives you peace, love, hope, security, comfort, and answers, as it did me, and continues to do to this day. God bless you.

It's ok if all you did today was get up. Patterns (emotional or otherwise) can be hard to break loose from. After all, getting out of your norm isn't an easy task for any person. We seek what is familiar because there is less room for fear or the unexpected. I have been fighting depression, anxiety, and OCD for years and it is still an uphill battle. I may not know who you are or who needs to hear this but progress is progress no matter how small or big it is. If you finished something you needed to do, learned something new, or even just got through the day a little easier, give yourself some credit and just take it at your own pace.

I found that my self control came back more when the temptation was removed, as in, not purchased or replenished. The end of the video made me tear up a little because it was a reminder of all the things that I recently realized in my head. I’m currently embracing the concept of self-love, and focusing on myself since I put others first beforehand, which is good, but I’ll go back to that mindset until I recover my own self first.

2:54 to a certain extent I can see why, and wholeheartedly agree with this ideal. Without some kind of social standard we just simply cant interact properly. I say this as someone with autism, which means I have a harder time following these social rules. There was a time where I didnt even realize these rules were a thing, and so I wasnt following them, and honestly it made my life worse. Over time I found the rules, started to follow, somewhat internalize them, and now im at a point where I have a small but good social life. This of course should be a balance, if I was only obsessed about what I *should* be doing in any given interaction, I wouldnt be able to interact in that situation either, because im thinking too much about what I should be doing and not about the actual conversation at hand. Its not to black and white that having social standards is a robotic thing while not following the rules makes for free and "real" conversation. You need both in order to have something function with its full value.

There’s one episode from spongebob that I found similar to an episode that you’ve talked about before, What ever happened to Spongebob? and Have you seen this snail? to me are kind of the same plot. One episode from Spongebob that I think also teaches a good lesson is The Battle of Bikini Bottom episode

I was always told if you put your happiness on a limited or imperfect thing, your happiness will hardly be lasting, but in faith or imagination we can create that happiness, that true success that we define, not society.

This dude is one of the nicest youtubers, yet one of the smallest, as well. Says a lot about society, and how bad this world is. I’m just gonna go cry in a corner about how we live in a terrible place.

Hey, try Kikoriki. It's a famous cartoon in Russia full of philosophical themes and deep meanings. My favourite episode, for example, is simply called 'The Meaning of Life'

Just wanted to thank you. It's sometimes difficult to express your own emotions and/or to support someone else. These videos have helped me to communicate with someone with depression. BTW I have my degree in psychology and you've been a big help. Appreciated.

Fun theory about Songebob: Bikini Bottom is located on the Bikini Islands, where the US experimented by detonating nuclear bombs under water. The residents of Bikini Bottom are, in fact, mutants

I’m happy when I imagine things about superheroes, imagine things about transformers, imagine things about My Hero Academia, imagine things about Pokemon, Imagine things about Hazbin hotel, imagine about crossovers, think of things I like, when I’m hyped to something new I like or will do, rewatching an movie I really like, eat fruit with my family, see pretty much any thing related to babies, when a UA-camr has posted a video I know I will like, when I take a walk, when I read about something I like, coming up with things, going to bed, going home after school, Wednesdays, Fridays, when we eat scones on Fridays at my school, when I eat breakfast at my school, when I eat dishes I like, among my bed, making a sandwich, eating ice cream, being at cinema and so much more...

SpongeBob SquarePants could never exist without the power of imagination.🌈That's just one of many reasons why imagination and creativity are important to develop when you're a kid, and to keep when you mature.

I've been binging on your videos and I gotta say, these feel good videos really help me have a better outlook on life. I've been feeling down for a long time and just watching these videos keep me from going any lower.
I'm usually a more optimistic person but man is it hard to stay that way. Always feeling like you're alone, wondering if things will get better. Then on top of that, putting up a front that you're okay when really you're not. These feel good videos help. Keep making more.
