Gerbing Heat Troller Controls on a Harley Davidson motorcycle can be a challenge when looking for a good spot to mount. We take the guess work out of it and show where and how to install the controls in the cleanest way possible.
If you ever wanted to add heated controls to your motorcycle, check out this video, it is the cleanest way ever IMO.
Heated Gear is essential for colder weather Riding your motorcycle, and you don't want a lot of wires flopping around scratching your paint.
We add heated gear control knobs beside the button cluster at the ignition and bulk heads onto the heat shields just under the leg.

I am glad you found that controller. Last year, they were difficult to locate .

Watched your video, very impressed with the undertaking. Not sure I would go through all that effort to mount the switches, but you definitely gave me some insight on how to perform that on my 17 Road Glide in the future if need be. Well thought out. Maybe an 8 beer day, 12 would definitely screw things up!
Hahahha..thats an awesome comment on the beers... its probably easier than u may think. Time consuming yes. We did another video putting the controls on the heat Shields under the seat if u care to look it up...

great video exactly what I needed to see for mounting on my 18 Road Glide Ultra. I need to get those nuts you had leftover from your warm and safe setup, I looked at all the hardware stores in my area and no joy. Do you know if Warm and Safe sells those separately? thanks!!

Has anyone found a source for the metal collars that raises the threads above the mounting surface? Or what they are called?

LOVE those 12 beer installs. Cheers! How well does the setup work? Do you have issues getting to the knobs with the heated gloves? Looked pretty tight in there.
Great video! I'm trying to figure out how to do something similar with a Road King, but I don't want the plastic knobs showing. Do you know if the dual zone controller knobs can be replaced with a chrome style? Trying to figure out how to keep everything concealed, yet be able to easily control. Having everything stuffed in my jacket liner is a hassle!
i have never seen chrome knobs... i also hated the controller in my pocket.. good luck
