Hello Alice, I enjoyed your King's Peak video! Yes, I've been to all the Utah NPs many many times, and also the Escalante region and Dinosaur NM, which should be NPs. My two favorites are Canyonlands, especially the Needles section, and Capitol Reef. Zion is up there too, but it's always soooo crowded. Looking forward to the Arches video. Arches is absolutely amazing, but the other parks are so incredible I'd actually rank Arches in 5th place of Utah NPs. (It's also really crowded unfortunately.)
Hi alice. Yep. All 5 here too. Bryce and Zion in 2019, Arches, Capitol Reef and Canyonlands in 2022. All quite different, so hard to choose one favorite. Must say that Capitol Reef surprised me the most: particularly the dark sky: saw the milky way for the first time in my life. Absolutely not visible here in the Netherlands.
I’d likely get lost on that last hike, too. Tiny arrows and too many other sights to distract me. Big arrows would definitely ruin the aesthetic though. That shot at 8:46 through the Double O arch. Wow. The view through the large O is a perfect desert view, IMO. I’d like to see that out a window of my house. But, then a view of a forest and some snow capped mountains in the distance out another window. It’s a very disorienting house. Great video, Alice. Thank you
Thanks for the nice video. My wife and I visited most of Utah’s NPs. They are all spectacular. We loved Arches. Sunrise and sunsets were the best time for photography.
Totally awesome! Great views of the arches. Native American soundtrack would have been pleasant to hear in the background, a suggestion. As always, thanks for sharing. Keep them coming! 🥾😎
You weren't lost...you were adventuring! Good advice, tho', for those who are done adventuring and want to find their car and some more water. Haven't seen your Canyonlands video yet...hope you visited Dead Horse Point State Park, on the way. A must see!
That was fantastic. Thank you so much it was so well done Would you consider a video on the equipment you're carrying on your backpack? Mostly interested in that little orange or red thing, which is probably a GPS but, I've never seen one that small. Since the Rangers are so busy and the tours are limited, would you consider providing paid guided tours in small groups. I can see myself getting lost very quickly and then what would I do? Thanks
Thank you Mike, that is a little GPs device, I have a video on my backpacking gear from earlier this year but will maybe do another one for my daypack. Leading tours in National parks requires a lot of permitting and winning a lottery to be a guide I believe so it’s a bit difficult. But with a group this hike is a bit easier to follow the route. More eyes to see the arrows 🤣
Welp, now i need to knock this off the bucket list soon. another awesome video. Check out Dominguez canyon. it made for a very easy incredible hike in Western Colorado.
Really interesting vid. However, I'm trying to figure out what that red tech thing you have latched onto your pack back when you were hiking in the firery furnace.
Absolutely fantastic channel Alice. I just can't get enough of your amazing adventures, particularly the US Southwest as this is my fav region on the planet...please keep them coming!
Excellent videography Alice 😊 Stunning views of the arches and the canyons!! It appears to be so incredibly vast in size with a variety of landscape and terrain. This is definitely on the list to explore. Thank you for the amazing content on this one. Your time and energy invested photographing and editing certainly makes for a wonderful viewing experience! Very well done! Happy Trails Alice!
300 trips to arches as a local - you did a wonderful job here. You should get yourself a polarizing filter for some shots and definitely consider doing some timelapse stuff as well 😀
Happy to see u document Arches, it truly does blow me away at the entrance. I did Capitol Reef, Bryce and Natural Bridges Monument on my last trip to Utah and took the hiking tour of Fiery Furnace. Still Delicate Arch, rounding round the bend is kick ass. Loved the video!😊
Awesome land! Hope to get there one day. This should be on everyone's bucket list. Thanks for another great western NP video adventure and the great info! Thanks for keeping it real with showing how easy it is to sometimes get disoriented in nature's expanse. You Rock! 🐾 - Safe Travels
Good on you for not getting frustrated (when lost). It annoys the hell out of me when the tracks I hike aren't well marked and if I feel that I might be lost 😄 Good video as always!
I was up at Delicate Arch one night expecting to see the Milky Way to photograph. Instead we got a strong thunderstorm so me and a few other photographers ended up hiking back in open ground with the threat of lighting over us. Fun times. I go to Moab a few times a year.
Not illegal, this is a rule rollback that is somewhat complicated and I’ve spoken to NPS at length on this they are really trying to crack down on actual film productions where groups are displacing or interrupting the visits of other guests and to also make sure people are not disrespecting wildlife or natural sites within the National Parks. According to NPS they will not and are not going after social media creators especially individuals that are abiding by park rules. I’ve also taken the park safe pledge which was made in partnership with NPs and the Parks Project specifically for content creators.
I just finished a mighty 5 road trip. I did most of the arches in the park but only had one day. I would love to go back and do more of Devils Garden and Fiery Furnace!
My wife and I visited Arches. We enoyed Glacier National Park a little more. My wife really enoyed the "Going to the Sun Road" which we drove up 5 times (I may have mentioned this before).
10:35- interesting Rules and reasons for this soil has biological crust- insects, fungus bacterial, produces erosion n floods- important to stay on certain areas and not stepping on sand crusts. Thankyou
Have you been to any of Utah's National Parks? I have visited all 5!

I've only been to Zion and Bryce so far and couldn't get enough of either park!
Been to Bryce and Zion. Need to visit Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef next.
I have been to all 5 several times over the years. My favorite area to hike & photography is the Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument.
Great video. Thank you! I'm going soon!
I’m a Utah native and I just love seeing other people enjoy the incredible beauty of the state, Arches really is breathtaking, and just plain cool!
It is such an amazing area that’s for sure.

Oh yes that Double O arch was such an incredible view. I loved it! Thanks so much for watching the video
Exceptional narration. Excellent vlog and advice.
Thank you kindly!
Absolutely Brilliantly WOW.
Thank you 🙏
Great video!
Thank you

Oh yes one night I stayed at the windows watching sunset then the lightning it was pretty awesome
Totally awesome! Great views of the arches. Native American soundtrack would have been pleasant to hear in the background, a suggestion. As always, thanks for sharing. Keep them coming! 🥾😎
Thanks Radisson few more videos to come from this area so I’ll see what I can find
Great video and enjoy this NP. I suspect your N Reach didn’t pick up satellite in the canyon. I use one also for off trail hiking.
Thank you Dave I actually didn’t try to send any messages in the canyon but I suspect you’re right

Great video Alice definitely not where you want to be tied to the car
Certainly not
Welp, now i need to knock this off the bucket list soon. another awesome video. Check out Dominguez canyon. it made for a very easy incredible hike in Western Colorado.
Thank you for the suggestion
Really interesting vid. However, I'm trying to figure out what that red tech thing you have latched onto your pack back when you were hiking in the firery furnace.
The red thing on the front is a GPS device and the paper on the back is my permit
Nice. Thank you. Suggestion, tech is important and potentially live saving out there. Maybe you should do a video on must have safety tech. TY!
@@Kliffy123 thank you you’re the second person to request this so I’ll definitely think about it

Thanks so much Zach, this park is actually quite small in size but certainly packs a lot into the smaller area.
Incredible. I may just have to go and check it out! 🥰😀

Thank you so much. I have a polarizer but didn’t have one for my long lens during this trip. And yes to more Timelapse’s
Thanks!
Alice have you ever been to glenwood city Wisconsin?
I have not
Another amazing video and great cinematography!
Thank you so much
Great video. Amazing place and landscape.
Thank you so much
That stuntwoman agility !
Dear Alice, I always enjoy watching your videos! It's nice to hear your wonderful voice and sweet smile 🥰 💖💖💖 Hugging you ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Was there for the first time 2 weeks ago! Fantastic! Can't wait to go back!
That’s great!
@@AliceFordAdventures great video!
Ahhh Arches...while I've been there half a dozen times, alway's nice to see it from your lens.
Welcome back! thank you I’ve been there many times as well
Well presented & informational for anyone trying to explore the West, keep exploring, Thank you Alice
Thank you so much
Wow, your dark skies photos are fantastic. Thanks for the tour.
Glad you like them!
Excellent video! Very informative. I love your clear and interesting presentations. Made me feel like I was there.
Thank you very much
This going to be great.... can't wait....thanks
Wow! Unbelievably beautiful scenery!

Yes that last bend the gradual incline definitely gets you. I did that loop but didn’t have time to visit natural bridges. Next time!
Arches is an awesome park for sure. The Delicate Arch trail in particular is super rewarding.
Totally agree!
can't wait to see it ....again!
Thanks so much. I agree! And oh yes anyone can get lost in an area like that, good to keep calm 😁
Awesome and stunning views but the background music needs more cowbell.😅
Curious if the arches were formed by wind or water.
Both actually wind, water, ice and erosion. Super fascinating
I love Arches. I've been there and Canyonlands. And I need to go back, and to the other 3 National Parks!
Thanks Alice I did not know about this park. This would be a great place to make a western cowboy movie.
It really is!
Good on you for not getting frustrated (when lost).
It annoys the hell out of me when the tracks I hike aren't well marked and if I feel that I might be lost 😄
Good video as always!
Do try to avoid night driving Aice?
Yes most of the time and I start so early in the morning it’s hard to stay up too late
Thank you Alice 🙂Appreciate you my friend 🙏

I thought it was illegal to film and monetize videos in National Parks? Has that changed? Also, great video.
When were you there? It doesn't look that crowded from the video.
I’m very good at hiding the crowds ;) I was there end of August

You’re very welcome it’s the lifeblood for plants in the desert
Your last name is Ford, but you drive a Jeep
o|||||||o
Yes it’s true. Well if I got free Ford Trucks I’d drive something different haha
Hi there. Hope you're doing well. If you need a video editor for your videos then I am available.
Thanks I do not at this time
@@AliceFordAdventures Ok no problem. Anyway thanks for your time ❣️
