I live in Cincinnati, and was born in S. Carolina where my parents & grandparents born in the 1800’s were sharecroppers. We had a family garden approximately 3/4 of an acre when growing up, and things changed, however all of my siblings grow different things near or around their homes. My elder sister moved back to S. Carolina and has a wonderful garden, and is very knowledgeable. What do you feel one should do to become more proficient in the knowledge of gardening, and I do mean books because I’ll be doing the community garden.

I live in California and went online to order sour sop fruit. It’s like $130 for only four pieces of fruit. Do you know where people in California can benefit or purchase the fruit at a more reasonable price?
At that price you might as well take a trip to the tropics like Jamaica Panama even South Florida in South Florida bought them for 6 dollars a pound in Panama about 1 dollar a pound this time of year.
Better yet, if you are located in the southern part of the State, I encourage you to order Soursop seeds online and grow your own Soursop tree in your backyard. I grew up in the Caribbean Island, these fruit trees sprout out of the ground without even planting them. They will start producing fruit before you know it. God bless your efforts.
@@Serenity-iv2qh Excellent idea, unfortunately I’m up North in the foggy Bay Area coastline. I wish I could grow in this climate, but it’s not warm enough and we have no markets that sell tropical Island fruit. Online would be the only option, thanks and stay blessed!
In that case maybe ordering from Dr Bobby's tropical farm may work for you. I don't know if they deliver as far as Northern California, but you can always try to contact them online. Blessings.
