I told her that the boy she was dating was not good enough for her before they started dating but she had to find out for herself. Ahh the teen drama! HA! I am also a WFPB high-protein teacher! I teach middle school social studies. Love the lunch ideas. I am also eating more processed food to get the protein in. Once I’m at goal in about 4 months, I’ll go back to the way I was eating before also.

To blah yogurt, smoothies, etc, I found adding 1-2 drops (start with 1 drop) of Whole Foods 365 French Vanilla Stevia Liquid, or Now Better Stevia Coconut (liquid), sweetens the flavor perfectly without the gross stevia zing that some brands have ... no gross stevia aftertaste.
You are such an inspiration to me!!! Your recipes are delicious! You mentioned not eating curries in an earlier video. Sauce Stache posted a high protein curry that does not have coconut in it. His version uses olive oil but you don’t need it! Water sauté the veggies. The cream is just blended silken tofu with lime juice. It’s a game changer! I ate it for four days of lunches. I enjoy batch cooking too! You are doing a great job! Keep it up!!!! 💪
Agree that unfortunately the Kite Hill tastes horrible. I recommended Siggi's plant based. May have a few less grams of protein - 10-11g per 3/4 cup but is actually good.
For sandwiches I love using smoked tofu, sliced thinly and pan *fried*, I use a non-stick so I don't need to use oil, until it's crispy. Place on toast with tomato and lettuce for a BLT inspired sandwich. I've made tofu scramble then added in a little mayo for a tofu salad sandwich. It's really good. I know some who make that without cooking the tofu. Cheap Lazy Vegan, here on youtube has lots of great high protein vegan recipes.

Don’t forget about grilled tofu sandwiches. There are some pulled “pork” jack fruit on buns options. On another note, I am thinking we need to develop a vegan tamale pie. TVP for “ground beef”? Or vegetarian chili topped with cornbread.

Then late summer grape season rolls around and I indulge in grapes from the Grapery (their gumdrops are the best!) Also, I have to say as someone who didn’t have parents I could talk to as a teen, ESPECIALLY about dating, it’s amazing to see how your students respect and trust you.
We love our protein pancakes too ❤. We like to use a mix of wheat gluten and wheat pastry flour, so yummy. My hubby likes the PB powder / maple syrup mix too. I like just a little date syrup on mine or just plain 😊
Tip: take regular vegan yogurt and add protien powder... You can do just plain pea protein or whatever, or flavoured! Probably cheaper and tastier than that kite hill stuff...
As always, your meals look amazing! In your pasta dish, what if you chopped the mushrooms really small? Almost like TVP shape where it might blend into the sauce more and the texture might not be as noticeable.

If you hadn't mentioned that blue dress shirt...never would wonder if it's the only one. My father wore plain dress shirts (with a tie) every day he was in the classroom. Like a 'uniform' one could say. To him, clothes made the man. Of course, that was in the 50s & 60s up through mid 80s when he retired. But, still when he took a part-time position at our FL owned grocery, he wore a short sleeved dress shirt to work also. So, the point is, he maintained a constant appearance. Don't apologize if folks think you might be wearing the same shirt every single day. As far as we know, you could have 15 or 20 hanging in the closet. 🙃 Yeah, we know you tend to wear tee shirts. 👍
How big are your containers? When you see them from the camera angle, they look decent sized, but then when you show them overhead, they look not much bigger than your eating utensils- which in my eyes, is a small container. Cameras are hard to judge. Btw, you look great!

Wife here. I stopped using the Products with monk fruit with erythritol as came out linked to stroke, heart attack, blood clotting . Check into it . I’m also Whole Food Plant Based No oil.
