Looks good to me. That 'fuel looking thingy' looks like a sight glass for the brake fluid reservoir. Don't let it run low. And although you don't have a fuel level the idea behind having a reserve is that when it cuts out on the main, you should hopefully have enough range on reserve to get you to a gas station. The owners manual should tell you how far it will go on reserve. Have fun guys.
I am gonna get one of those! in the 80s, I rode a Honda 200x and it had all the power I could use; as far as just putzin' the trails, and gas prices: this would get better mileage
Been riding atv's for 30 years. Now side by sides but I can tell you I owned 2 recons and 2 ranchers both electric shifts in the past and them machines are lifers. Changed oil, spark plugs. That's it. They top out around 44 46 mph. Rancher 420 tops 51. Buddy who rides w us has an 08 rancher 4x4.

Prop could of found a 420 rancher for that price ,, seems like a bit more then it should of been Covid pricing some might say,, But if you folks are happy with it none of that matters I suppose Congrats on the purchase hope it treats yah's well and brings alittle joy to life

Have a 98 Recon I bought new and had to replace a light bulb and clean the carb after sitting 4 years. Thats it!

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS do the 1st oil change depending how much you ride it In Jan Feb. That should carry you through next year. Every spring after that
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS air filter should a washable foam filter. There should also be a drain plug on the bottom of the air box for dirt, dust, or water.
