Yup this was a perfect album ....my first listen I was in my kitchen cooking and I heard THIS! I SHUT OFF THE STOVE! ran into our music room and asked my hubby WHOSE THIS!!!!??? Man. I grabbed a bottle of blush zinfandel wine my blounts, shut the door, stayed in there until we listened to it over n over..... I wanted to be Stevie Nicks! Blew my mind. Lyrics are most important to my music appreciation... These are probably when of the best I've heard ... Soul searching.... Deepest .... Captures our bodies and minds. So true..... She's magic!!
Yup, Lindsey plays and sings. If you want to see him do a similar performance live, "Big Love" from their 1997 concert is great to check out. You shan't be disappointed. 😁
Flip out. That's Lindsey Buckingham both singing and playing guitar on Never Going Back. I hate it when people say he''s underrated coz I don't think anyone thinks he's anything other than a magic guitarist.
It's pretty cool in 2024 to see someone for the first time listen and be awestruck of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors" album like I was in 1977 when it came out!
Thanks mate, enjoyed your reaction to this classic album. It's great to listen/watch with someone who appreciates brilliant music. The only recommendation I'd make is to put a little more distance between you and the mic. For those of us who like the volume up with awesome music like this, your voice comes through very loud. All you need to do is push the mic out a bit further so the volume is similar to that of the music to preserve our eardrums 😉👍
Christine (keyboards and vocals) is a female; Lindsey (lead guitar and vocals) is a male; Stevie Nicks (vocals) is a female.; John McVie (pronounced Mac-Vee) is a male; Mick Fleetwood (drums) is a male.
No synths....mostly Lindsey's guitar and a bit from Christine's keys. Fleetwood just used guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals 3 different lead singers and writers.
Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables is an album you need to react to. The musicianship is amazing. You have East Bay Ray’s crazy guitar with surf and rockabilly influences, Klaus Flouride’s groovy and difficult bass lines, Ted’s creative and skilled drumming (albeit DH Pelligro is better) and Jello Biafra’s vocals that sound like an asylum and his lyrics which have amazing political commentary and dark humor. They were one of the best (if not the best) hardcore punk band and were big inspirations for Green Day.

Rumors is one the few albums that's gone Double Diamond, this means they have sold 20 million in US alone and over 40 million worldwide.
Always been the perfect album.......even to this day!
