Repair: Lazy Susan Gave Up!

- Tired of carrying too much weight, she let it down! My attempts to get this one back in the notch. Nothing is needed but a bit of patience, a Philips screwdriver, and some wood blocks.
In retrospect, the direct way to fix this would have been to loosen the bottom screw at each level only, then lift the shelves (together as a unit) upward along the shaft, leaving the endpiece adjustments alone. This would also be the case in the second Susan shown. A helper would really speed up the job and make it less of a hassle.

I have that same mini work light from Harbor Freight. Thanks for the tip. Still trying to figure out why my lazy Susan won't hold any weight. I thought it needed a dowel, but I noticed that none of these videos show dowels for support.

The top of mine keeps falling/rotating away from center. The plastic collar is basically the same size as the metal top, so there's not really any way to keep it completely vertical. Very frustrating.
The best way to adjust a lazy susan is just not to have one. They are poorly designed and cant handle any weight without falling out of adjustment. Its junk would be better to just have regular cabinets where the lazy susan is
I saw corner drawers that would take its place. The drawer front is corner-shaped but pulls out at a forty-five-degree angle and is extra long (deep) to take advantage of the space
Each to your own opinion. Pull out get in the way. Pull out doors also. This isn’t so bad. Had a cabinet years ago(very good quality ) corner had just doors. That was no good.
Made this video on my notebook while out of town, way too difficult! Mainly with VP malfunctioning in a loop, not stopping the playback preview even wihilst showing the button changed. Rendering was also at a glacial pace but succeded despite the computer falling asleep in the middle of the process.
Ok for telling us what raises the lazy Susan, but very vague. Doesn’t explain how to adjust the stop
That's the second screw on mine which are 40 yrs old. There are 2 together on each level and it's the one on the right. I don't understand why but it it worked!
I keep turning the thumbscrew and it does not raise or lower. Any advice?

why is there toilet paper near the lazy susan
The empty rolls by the fireplace? I was saving them to make an acoustic lens, long story, probably an abandoned project.
