Samsung dishwasher low flow repair

After trouble shooting this issue, I found it to be a faulty case break/over flow sensor. The over flow sensor was faulty on mine. If you have a similar issue where your dishwasher fills with water and then immediately drains out then try disconnecting the two wire connector and try running it again. If it works correctly then go ahead and replace the case break/ over flow assembly.

This was a big help, thank you In fact all I needed to do is take it off and flush it out with the hose and vacuum out all the lines to take out all the sludge.

i never guessed to bypass the sensor, mine washed and it was pretty obvious my sensor was bad

Before doing this, take the screen, 12 screws plus 2 for the wash arm, and the plastic part below out, thoroughly clean any crud. Put it back together and try again. This fixed my OE error code the last 4 times this has happened. Maybe 15 minutes total, and no need to take the machine out of the cubby hole.

Hook the two wires together and your dishwasher should work normally until you can replace the part.

You just blew my mind.. I’ve had this over flow problem for about a year. And just hand washed my dishes.. if I can bypass it… 😮 and eventually replace it. Will there be any consequences?

Everything will function if you bypass it. Only thing is if something else goes wrong you won't have the overflow protection which could cause it to overflow onto the floor. I bypassed mine, ordered the part and replaced it a couple of weeks later.

100 bucks for 10 bucks in plastic. No thanks. Ill just bypass it.
