    Great video. Question….. my Samsung is giving me the 4C code but the code only occurs about 30 min each time. Typically when the washer is going into its second cycle. I tested the water Inlet valve by taking it out and wiring it into an extension cord and plugging it in to my wall outlet. I get the same amount of water flowing through it in 60 seconds as I do when I just run the water from the plumbing line for 60 seconds. I wonder if the circuit board uses different relays to activate the water inlet valve for the second cycle as the first ? Any other suggestions? I did strip the wires to the overflow case break and crossed them to test that and it gives me the OC code. So I don’t believe it’s the overflow. That must be working.

    Thanks for this video! Im having issues with mine. After doing a little reaserch, I replaced the sump and motor when it was filling with water but the arms weren't spinning. Not sure if that's what it needed, but it's what I found to do.
    Anyway, once I got it all reconnected, powered on, and water turned back on, it started throwing the 4C error code. I made sure water is on, there are no kinks, water pressure and temp are good. Life is busy right now, so I haven't had time to do anything else. Any ideas? Thank you!

      Hmmm since those parts were replaced I’d turn the power off and make sure there aren’t any loose connections underneath. There’s a sensor in this video that can come loose and cause that error. Could possibly be that. Do the arms spin now at all? Also check out my video on diagnostic test mode as you may get a different error that may give more clues.

      It's not going far enough in the cycle for the arms to spin (I think). It drains cycles to start, starts filling with water, and then errors out pretty quickly. I can see water coming into the case break. I'm not seeing any drips anywhere (dishwasher or water line).
      I did the diagnostic test (thank you) and it came up with 4C again when it started the second cycle.

    I've got an interesting one for you! I have been battling this 4C error on and off for a month now. Sometimes it will run, sometimes it'll error out right as it start putting water in, sometimes it waits 30 minutes to throw the 4C error.
    I've tried EVERYTHING I could think of and then I came across your video. Water pressure is good, if not on the high end. Cleaned out the water inlet valve. Hose isn't kinked behind the dishwasher. Here is the weird part. I went and disconnected the overflow sensor from the case break and ran the diagnostic/test mode. No error - weird, right?
    So now I'm in the midst of running an Express60 cycle as a test while keeping a close eye on it for leaks, overflows, etc. Am I wrong or should it not be running with that overflow sensor disconnected?

      Some of these errors are so hard to diagnose lol you’d think it shouldn’t be running without that sensor in place. You didn’t get that error when you did test mode? What model do you have? Let me know how the express cycle does. Curious if maybe that sensor is what’s causing your issues.

      I guess I got a little bit ahead of myself. The Express 60 ran just fine. I then went to run a Normal cycle and it 4C'd me after a few seconds of adding water through the case break. Cleared the error, drained it, then ran another Express 60 without an issue. Have kept the sensor unplugged the whole time. I'm back to being completely lost 😔

      @danzschokke7064 you mentioned water pressure but what about water temp? Is it between 120-149F consistently? Run the hot water for about 30 seconds then immediately start a normal cycle and see what happens

      @@BreakFixRepair I'm getting 155F from the sink, but this is shortly after running the Express 60 and a family member took a shower, I'll test tomorrow after a refill of the hot water heater. I haven't touched the hot water heater temp dial in over a year though.

    My dishwasher is giving me headaches. We had error code LC for weeks. Now we have error code 4c. Inside the dishwasher is water that doesn't get pumped out. We have that problem constantly.

    • @BreakFixRepair
      @BreakFixRepair  6 місяців тому

      Sorry for the delay. Been a longgg day. if the water isn’t getting pumped out it could be causing the error 4c from the overfill switch depending on the model. Sometimes it’s OE. is it hooked up to a garbage disposal? I’d check the case break for buildup as well as the drain pump could have gunk built up inside or in the hose leading to the case break or the hose leading from the case break to the sewer / septic hookup under your sink. Be sure there’s a high loop just before the drain ends so that there’s optimal siphoning. Also be sure to clean the filter and run dishwasher cleaner through monthly to help prevent buildup. Hope this helps.

      You could also try running the drain line to a large bucket to see if it drains. Sometimes lines get frozen or partially frozen in winter months (if cold enough). Not sure what region you’re located. lots of things to check for but let me know what you find!
