As someone who does 3d printing and Injection molding for a living. Just a heads up PLA probably wouldn't be used for 3d printing gun parts by any sort of professional company, if it was 3d printed (and not injection molded) it would use something like Carbon Fiber, Nylon, or something of the sort, I also know people tend to use Annealable PLA's or HSPLA for gun parts. I think it would be extremely possible from a government funded production.
THe SVA seems to be more like a mix of AK-107, and Sagia MK-107 that feature the counter balencing recoil system, and have been quite popular in competition shooting circles in Europe. But then ingame performs like an AN-94.
i doubt the introduction of 3d printed parts would be realistic to the large calibre guns, as we still haven't reached that technology where PLA+/Pro, ABS etc, have that much shock strength/headroom
MWII also had different reloads for the Basilisk .500 Magnum revolver depending on how many rounds you’ve fired, so this isn’t the first time they’ve done that.

the shotgun 'tommie' gun with the side by side drums are probably based off of the aa12 that the us finalized around 2010 most of which were mounted guns used for intersection defense.
The “SVA 545” is definitely based on the French AN-94 but so loosely that I could only tell because of the two round hyperburst feature and the barrel. The mag is not canted, and the rest of the gun is cobbled together from the other AK knockoffs in the game.
9:16 The only other time I can think of this occurring for different reloads depending on how many rounds you've used, is in COD: Ghosts with the one shotgun. It's a nice attention to detail but it results in more animation work having to be done. It's a cool idea, but it's up to the developers to determine if the extra amount of time to pull it off is worth it.
It is so ironic that i was complaining of the "longbow" to my friends about this exact issue tonight. I hate how much guns will be OP in this game, despite the fact they're firing the same round.
Just a slight detail, I believe that the gun the KVD is based on is actually the Chuvakin SVCH. I believe it might be the western name, SVK, but I know that Battlefield 2042 called it SVK so I think that might be in Jonathan’s mind.
@@MitsurugiR Oh ok then. I apologise for the lack of attention I give these games anymore. Why are they completely different weapon? It feels like they could just have it as a hidden conversion in the gunsmith.

MW2 seemed to change a few things such as the P90 being given a different name and the the hand grips changed design. Playing MW3, so far I am yet to spot an accurate real world firearm that I recognize
Hey Dave, I've been thinking for a quite some time that it would be great if you add into the montage photos of real weapons Jonathan references sometimes - especially if he does not have or show real example.
Interesting point on the AN-94 I hadn't considered: if the magazine is canted to make feeding easier for the 2 round burst, would firing a single shot and then switching to burst cause that system to malfunction?
I'm surprised he didn't mention how the name for the SVA 545 is also incorrect considering there's another rifle that's in limited use called the A 545 which looks like an AK/H&K G3 Hybrid.
When you put the SVA 545 in "single-burst", it'll fire 2 rounds at a time, rather than 1. I wondered why, but then Jonathan said that about the magazine being able to queue up 2 rounds for the hyper-burst.
I would love to see him to look at the guns of PlanetSide 2. An older game, but it's really interesting because it has conventional cartridge weapons, gauss weapons, and energy weapons, with each category being distinct from each other.
Different types of lowers with on the same weapons system makes sense. Anyone can buy a 3d printer, and print one from a .stl file they got from a forum and at least in the US buy all the parts that aren’t legally a firearm. For sure wouldn’t use it for anything full auto or particularly high powered though.
I'm starting to feel that COD's legal department has increasingly more influence over their gun designs than the actual design department

There are so many changes to MWIII from the beta, Three examples being the "Longbow", "Striker", and "SVA 545".
The least noticeable difference is the SVA as it was just the damage that got tweaked.
The Longbow and Striker were most noticeable, the Longbow in the beta was chambered in .224 valkyrie instead of 7.62X39MM,the striker in the beta had the LWRC bolt and charging handle but now it has the UMP 45 bolt and charging handle.
wish he went into more detail with the bullpup PKP, interesting gun
14:57 looks like a ‘modernized’, cursed version of ‘The Patriot’ from Metal Gear Solid 3 (and 4)
The second to last Skin is a Reactive. The more kills your get makes the gun skin evolve. Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, and mw2 have reactive Mastercraft Skins.
That Bullpup PKP is actually a thing, though is actually used in the frontline? Probably not but it IS a variant of the PKP
There actually are a few printed receivers, notably the orca is an almost fully 3d printed AR15 including the upper and lower receiver.
Apart from The Order 1886 which I suspect is next week you should do Killzone Series and Deus Ex Series both the OG Deus and the more recent Human Revolution and Mankind Divided
Bolt-action AKs were (or are) actually in service in the Armenian military. They are called K-11 and K-8 chambered in 5.45x39 and 7.62x54R respectively
One thing that was glanced over is how the revolver would actually work since the barrel sits below where the hammer would strike the cartridge.
And here I thought we were going to do The Order this week, it looked like that from the preview last week.
Thanks for the video Dr. House.
There are so many different variants of real life guns lol there’s even half AK half AR rifles out there, there’s also a lot of newer version of older guns! People are always complaining lol
Would love to see Jonathan, try out the weapons from Isonzo. No cursed or mashed up guns in that game, as I remember. Just what Jonathan needs to see sometimes :)
I love the idea of the aftermarket parts though.
Love Jonathan,s T-Shirt, wonder where he got that from.....
(would love to see a collab with C&Rsenal
I would watch/listen to a podcast of Jonathan and Dave talking about video games and guns. Or guns and video games.
What Jonathan doesn't know is that the HS.50 in the game is actually the M1 Variant as it has a 5 round detachable magazine on the side.
Dayum. Steyr HS .50. A beautiful anti-material Raifu- I mean, rifle, for sure.
The concept of putting an underbarrel shotgun on a shotgun gives me WH40K Orc vibes yk? Like, by doing that, now I have 200% gun on my gun, sounds awesome.
Dude, I remember seeing you do this since way back in PUBG days. Keep on rocking, dude.
ok next, firearms expert reacts to the guns and firearms in just cause 3, cus I really really want to see his reaction to the eden spark, (also known as a lightning gun) and other quite weird guns in that game
Love this series and it’s always an instant watch for me but I’ve got to say that Jonathan’s camera frame drops were really jarring
the shotgun 'tommie' gun with the side by side drums are probably based off of the aa12 that the us finalized around 2010 most of which were mounted guns used for intersection defense.
It's a 9mm sub gun in the game
The “SVA 545” is definitely based on the French AN-94 but so loosely that I could only tell because of the two round hyperburst feature and the barrel. The mag is not canted, and the rest of the gun is cobbled together from the other AK knockoffs in the game.
One thing about a Revolver having a foregrip is the camber gap... was there a gas guard on that carbine?
...or just an asbestos gauntlet for the the shooter's support hand?
9:16 The only other time I can think of this occurring for different reloads depending on how many rounds you've used, is in COD: Ghosts with the one shotgun. It's a nice attention to detail but it results in more animation work having to be done. It's a cool idea, but it's up to the developers to determine if the extra amount of time to pull it off is worth it.
Nice to see that C&Rsenal T-shirt
It is so ironic that i was complaining of the "longbow" to my friends about this exact issue tonight. I hate how much guns will be OP in this game, despite the fact they're firing the same round.
The focus on Jonathan's camera makes me feel like I'm taking an eye exam.
What is with the hammer off set???? 10:00
Just a slight detail, I believe that the gun the KVD is based on is actually the Chuvakin SVCH. I believe it might be the western name, SVK, but I know that Battlefield 2042 called it SVK so I think that might be in Jonathan’s mind.
Johnathan was correct, the Enforcer is the Kalashnikov SVK, and the Inhibitor is the SVCH.
SVCh is based on SVK
Chukavin, not Chuvakin
SVK was the name KC launched it under in 2016.
@@MitsurugiR Oh ok then. I apologise for the lack of attention I give these games anymore. Why are they completely different weapon? It feels like they could just have it as a hidden conversion in the gunsmith.
God I wanted to see the AMR9 on this
Modern warfare games (classic & 2019) were very accurate with their weapons, they looked correct and also had the real world names. MW2 seemed to change a few things such as the P90 being given a different name and the the hand grips changed design. Playing MW3, so far I am yet to spot an accurate real world firearm that I recognize
Jon reacting to cursed guns will never get old.
The Martini Henry shirt is so cool
Hey Dave, I've been thinking for a quite some time that it would be great if you add into the montage photos of real weapons Jonathan references sometimes - especially if he does not have or show real example.
I would love to see John take a look at Call of Duty Black ops 2 and 3 and how practical they would be.
I am once again asking for your support in getting Jonathan to review the weapons of the Killzone series.
Cool to see he got the new martini henry C&Rsenal shirt from their recent fundraising campaign
Free Larry Vickers!
Interesting point on the AN-94 I hadn't considered: if the magazine is canted to make feeding easier for the 2 round burst, would firing a single shot and then switching to burst cause that system to malfunction?
For the TYR, it magically converts from shooting from the top of the cylinder to shooting to the bottom in the cursed form
I'm surprised he didn't mention how the name for the SVA 545 is also incorrect considering there's another rifle that's in limited use called the A 545 which looks like an AK/H&K G3 Hybrid.
It didn’t go into service under that name it’s military designation is the 6P67 and 6P68 depending on calliber
When you put the SVA 545 in "single-burst", it'll fire 2 rounds at a time, rather than 1.
I wondered why, but then Jonathan said that about the magazine being able to queue up 2 rounds for the hyper-burst.
Ian Mccollum on Forgotten Weapons tore down an AN-94 to get a look at how this works, take a look over there.
for a lot of the video the camera was focused on jonathan's background, not jonathan
Love the t-shirt, looking forward to when mine arrives!
My continuing quest to have Jonathan react to the frankenweapons from Resistance:Fall of Man.
I would love to see him to look at the guns of PlanetSide 2. An older game, but it's really interesting because it has conventional cartridge weapons, gauss weapons, and energy weapons, with each category being distinct from each other.
I know it's old but as someone who played the first one, I feel ancient
Different types of lowers with on the same weapons system makes sense. Anyone can buy a 3d printer, and print one from a .stl file they got from a forum and at least in the US buy all the parts that aren’t legally a firearm. For sure wouldn’t use it for anything full auto or particularly high powered though.
