Tmal they buffed all the MW2 shotguns yesterday! (or on Monday). This tier list video might be outdated due to Sledgehammer making the MW2 shotguns more consistent in their first 2 one shot damage ranges and increasing the ranges. Just an FYI (Just finished the video, nvm lmao)
Ngl the funny thing is that the 890 was so overused in mw2 because it had the better reload time than the 800 and could hold 12 shells with the extended mag, not to mention you need a choke to tighten the pellet spread when ads-ing cuz that actually kinda fixes the inconsistency with ranged shots for shotguns as you want the pellet spread in general to be tight, and the mw2 chokes seem to fix the issue when I looked at the stats

i dont actually agree with your 890 ranking, because of the fact that it was supposed to be a more mobile version of the 800. it trades that damage range and oneshot potential of the 800 for better mobility and a magazine, which drastically increases its reload speed. build it for movement instead of range and you wont have trouble getting kills.
the the Bryson 800 really feels like the Luftwaffe drilling from cod ww2 at times with the amount hit markers it gets now. pretty good range for what it is but an absolute hit marker machine.
@Sonichero151 I vividly remember grinding the camos for the drilling. Never have I been as angry as I was grinding camos for that gun. Genuinely made me quit the game for 5 years, I only recently came back to the game to play zombies and I completed the camo challenges on the side, and that was only because I had help from 3 guys on the other team while doing it.
FYI, dragons breath halves damage. MX Guardian at base on semi is more effective. Shotguns were great, but they nerfed all the ammo types and nerfed all dmg just under base health
The broadside has out to be my favorite shotgun, so much so that it is in 3 of my load outs, 2 of em are battle rifle conversions though, which is my favorite. I just love battlerifle ak moments.
They had to nerf the shotguns cause some of these criers complained about them. "Oh, you're using a shotgun, learn to aim!" Maybe don't rush down the shotguns. Simple as that

I agree with this list aside from the Lockwood 680 being at C tier, I think it is solid enough to be a B. One of two shotguns I have the final weapon prestige camo on, but it can be frustrating sometimes so understandable
The reflaimer has a bug with the bolo rounds where the semi auto firing mode has the same pellet count as the buckshot. You can switch from pump bolo to semi buck on a whim.
i don't play mwiii but feel free to judge - Expedite M1014 = popo tier (shot spread kinda mess, damage is mid-low, not recommended to use unless you are camo grinder) - JAK Devastator = goat tier (either you play Trepang2 for 400+ hours and cosplay as Subject 106 or you are maniac who rampaging whole lobby with new patched dual shotgun, but goddamn that inspect animation is sick af those animators need a praise. Must obtained) - Bryson 890 = meh tier (inconsistent range damage, it's just bryson 800 but with mag fed and worse, not recommended) - KV Broadside = mid tier (kastovian brecci, gives bo3 player ptsd, better than haymaker/origin 12, recommended for close range combat) - Lockwood 680 = ok tier (range damage is weakened, have luck, probably recommended for close range combat) - Bryson 800 = meh tier (lockwood 680 but has worse range damage, you must close enough to one tap kill bozos) - Lockwood 300 = mid tier (725 but nerfed, you need attachment to get one shot kill and good aim, however it got nerfed so bad bc most lobbies are complaining so damn loud) - JAK Wardens = goat tier (your ptsd never recovered from this) - Haymaker/Origin 12 = mid tier (mid-close range monster, both broadside and haymaker are definitely monster, you only use it on Recon Juggernaut killstreak) - JAK Maglift = good tier (pre-fire this) - MX Guardian = ok tier (you need close enough to get kill) - Riveter = mid tier (use .410 gauge and you made it) - JAK Widemouth / Blunderbuss = good tier (close quarter beast, one shot one kill, this is 1850) - Reclaimer 18 / SPAS -12 = GOAT tier (JOSEFINA!, welcome back to 2009, subject 106 at the best, WE ARE SO BACK)

Yep. Despite its flaws I still have a 2.5 kd with it in mw3 and routinely drop 20 bombs with it in warzone

You swap the tactic for when you need it. Rapid fire for when you need to dump rounds and fire both for when you got a clean meatshot
