I am hooked on Gladius. The Regicide game was interesting. But Im more interested in an actual table top simulator. It probably wont come out but is still do board game simulations on table top rpg sits to practice with army lists and run tournament scenarios.
didnt played many 40k games but Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command on PSP was amazing, I will pick space marines. Now i wonder is chaos gate is similar to squad comand?
So you can play Chaos Gate on the Steam Deck, but it does run poorly. If you lower the FPS to 30 and put it on medium low (or if you lower the resolution you can get medium), it runs well. The only consistent issue is when the game does a zoomed in action shot and it tanks the FPS to like 15 for like 2-5 secs. Basically the more particles on screen, the worst it gets. Eventually you do get used to it, so it is playable, just not great on the SD. But on average, do expect to see lower than 30 fps. But since its a turn based game, it doesn't affect the quality as much as other games imo
I put 40 hours in rogue trader but stopped playing because I missed picking up a space marine to put in my party and I refuse to go through that level again. That game needs A LOT of polish and it would be great.
Best explanation of the Warhammer 40K series. Starting to get burned out on GalCiv4, and looks like Gladius might be the ticket. (But I'm curious about BattleSector.)
Smack Down! LTG nail the numbers again … on the money as far as I am concerned and I’m itching to head into the GRIM darkness with the LTG battle boys riding shotgun … NICE work …. Don’t you boys ever rest?
Most welcome! I really wanted to highlight just howe much fun ive had with it! Chaos Gate also....and i'm currently back hooked on the Space Hulk games.
I love this list! Slytherine games are amazing! Armageddon and battlesector are my favorites! Dawn of War 2 was the game that introduced me to Warhammer
I haven’t tried it yet, but checking on the Steam Deck subreddit, people are saying “Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters” is playable on Steam Deck. Was surprised “WH40K: Rogue Trader” wasn’t on this list! It’s great if you are into CRPG’s like “Baldur’s Gate 3”. Planning on purchasing “Battle Sector” when I finish it actually.
@@richguev the campaign and story are not the strong point of the game, but as a motivation to immerse yourself in the atmosphere, it is quite justified.
You forgot DAWN OF WAR, and i am not talking about 2 and 3, but about first one, and the best one. Dawn of war 2 is just straight forward, not a strategy like first one. It shouldn't be called dawm of war 2 and 3, they should have made it completly diffwrent game because they are played totally different. But having some RPG WH40K would be great. Something made similar to skyrim for example. And players playing as Acolytes for one of the Ordos of Inquisition and leveling up as one of the classes, not space marines, but humans. Level up, advance qs Assassins or tech priest for example. To transfer Dark heresy to PC would be incredible. And being able to play in COOP with 3 or 4 friends. 😊
@LTGamingUA-cam Oh okay. I wasn't thinking about how it works on more modern PCs because i have no problem playing it at my Gigabyte G5 KF laptop. About all other games here there are some that i haven't seen before and i am probably going to give them a try one day. It's nice overview of these games.
@@LTGamingUA-cam I'll check it out for sure. Space marine 2 is probably one of the games that i can't wait to come out, same as Cavill's WH40K series haha
It would have been if they added a map to the game. It gets real confusing and i spend most my time trying to figure out where to go instead of enjoying an action game.
I never ever ever ever will ever enjoy turn based strategy games. If I wanted that I'd play board games. I want the one thing games can give me that everything else cant.
I love WH. Battlesector is immense
Problem with Battle Sector is you can only play Blood Angels. I would like to be able to play other chapters and even customize my only chapter
What about DLC's? ;-)
I am hooked on Gladius. The Regicide game was interesting. But Im more interested in an actual table top simulator. It probably wont come out but is still do board game simulations on table top rpg sits to practice with army lists and run tournament scenarios.
Yeah I am in love with Gladius it’s just done so right, it’s easy to get sucked into 5 hr matches of it
Love this list bro! Dawn of War 1 & 2 were sooooo good. I have never played Battlesector though!
You need too! Really good game :)
Thank you for putting Battlesector on my radar! I'll be sure to give it a try
A really excellent game and provides a stern challenge to the player!
Have you tried it yet c do you like it
Thank you for the info! Love the 40K universe but would rather play a video game than the table top.... for now!
been trying to get into warhammer so this list helps

Good.
I need to get into Warhammer, and the way I know how is video games!
I’d definitely recommend gladius mate, got me into warhammer lore and now I’m hooked
@@dazzab8351 Wish the DLC was less pricey... but it IS really good!
I like Gladius, but I do agree that it has a lot of DLC. The faction packs I can get behind, but the unit packs were a little overpriced IMO

We are 110% on this channel haha!
_Vermintide_ made me physically sick. Why the hell they thought to make a FPS with a fisheye camera is beyond a bad idea.
Was the FOV bad I cant remember?!
As someone with over 200 hours of Vermintide 2 I can’t say that I had this problem
@@milesgreenaway6008 I was too absorbed with slaughtering giant rats to notice this. I also did not have this issue.
Too fast paced
Sounds like a you problem
games like battlesector and gladius having a host seat mode are what carry them to next level amazing for me!
I play chaos gate on my deck, its not high fps but being turn based it plays fine, and thats docked 1080p :)
Does it work? I might try it later
@@LTGamingUA-cam works fine for me :)
@@matthewoconnell4700 amazing I'm on the Steam Deck a lot this week. Amazed how many games that aren't verified to work...actually work 🤣
@@LTGamingUA-cam yeah I don't pay any attention to the verified thing lol
I would actually really recommend rogue trader. It’s surprisingly very good.
It's on the expanded list we did. UA-cam only shows this one for some reason!
Great list, while there have been some terrible Warhammer video games there are also some very good ones, as you pointed out. Thanks!
There really has been! - Luke
I am really loving Sanctus Reach, just got it and working on it now and its a very good TBS game with a great board game feel to it.
I so want Battle Sector on console. Would work completely fine.
It's a great experience on Steam Deck so it would work fine agreed 🚀
@@LTGamingUA-cam I just saw it exist on Xbox! One cannot search for Warhammer. You have to write Battlesector. Im so glad!🥳😅
It is on console. Or at least it is for Xbox
Are Chaosbane and Inquisitor good? Especially the special editions for $15? 😬
Battlesector is SO GOOD! The multiplayer is endlessly fun. Thank you for highlighting it, and so many other great games!

Dawn of War didn't make this list because of the 2024 element and the fact it runs pretty poorly on modern screens. No doubting its class though!

Chaos gate Daemonhunter for me also

Does Warhammer have single player?
Lol what? Most of the games on this list are only single player.
