These recipes came at the perfect time. Picking cukes and tomatoes from my garden, along with having recently harvested onions. I can’t wait to make all three recipes!
The last one is exactly Korean style . I am Korean and we Koreans season just like what you did. If you like sesame oil, you can do sesame oil instead of olive oil. Thanks for sharing .😊
My Mom would make the "creamy cucumber" salad, with sour cream instead of the mayo. She thinned out the sour cream with a little vinegar and then also used a little sugar. SO good! The 3 you made all look great too! Thanks for sharing!
That marinated salad is what I make all summer long with my garden produce. Sooo good! I like your idea of peeling only some of the cucumber. It looks cool, so I'll have to remember to do that next time.
Oh my goodness, I can't wait to make that last recipe. Being from the south, I make a lot of the other 2 recipes during the summer when my gardens in full swing. I'm not sure if I can find the Korean chili flakes in my local grocery stores, but I'm on the hunt. Girl, you're so much fun to watch. You're not just showing us how to make a recipe but you entertain us as well. At least for me, you do. You're not a bit pretentious. It's ok to show your mess ups. I love your playfulness & that you don't care if you aren't prefct. You just keep on rolling... So keep doing what you do best. I thank you for the many hours involved in making all of your amazing recipes. God bless & wish you have an amazing day.. 💜 😊 💜
Can be bought on Amazon and eBay. I'm British, independent health store retailers popped up. I'm sure they'd be loads of similar retailers in the US. Their Scoville levels can greatly vary, from very mild to quite hot.🤗
In the creamy cucumber salad process, I always add the item to the bowl with the dressing. That way you don’t lose any like you do when you try to rake it into the bowl with the item. Cucumbers or otherwise. I love your videos. Keep putting out content. I’ll keep eating.
Looks fabulous!👌🏼😋🥒 In my creamy cucumber salad I use baby English Cukes, yellow onion, s&p, sour cream, dill, garlic powder & onion powder & it is the absolute BEST, refreshing summer salad! I eat it all summer!💚😊
They all look amazing!!! The Asian one is new for me… However, the Cucumber/Tomato/Onion salad is a staple on my table and I have been seeing this one my whole life… Except My Gram used Balsamic with hers… Now she would do a Cucumber Salad with just Onions and Cuccs with white vinegar and water, pinch of sugar, and Salt n Pepper, then let it soak in the fridge for a couple hours, then longer the better… nothing cooled us off better on a hot summers day… 👊🏼💯🇺🇸💙😎
Creamy easy dish. Use stor bought dip vegetable dip cucumbers and onions and fresh dill...super easy. If you dice the onion and cucumber very finely it makes a great dip for veggies or party rye bread
The salt aids in helping the cuke from repeating on u. But we would soak them in salted cold water for 10-15 mins then drain them. I learn d this from my mom years ago. We all worked on a green house/veggie farm. So we would get as many free veggies as we wanted. So we would preserve them and use them in many ways. That was over 45+ yrs ago
Where is the written recipe? Allrecipes UA-cam videos used to have a written recipe in the description, but now it's gone. It's been a while since I visited this channel, and this channel changed a lot.
Nicole, on the Asian salad. The recipe card says two garlic cloves, but it is not in the video. Is the two garlic cloves a typo on the written recipe please advise.
What is the amount of the ingredients on the Asian salad. I have all the ingredients, just need to know how much of everything to use, couldn't find it.
My guess is you probably don’t like spicy? 🌶️ I’ve never had this one but it looks good I’m going to try it. I’ve had the second one but need to try the creamy cucumber 🥒 and the last one.
I actually love no, adore the last salad. I have made it so many times. The first two are so bland and boring. I don't understand this obsession with mayo. It has no taste.
No vinegar or sugar in the cucumber ,tomato salad! Italians add only olive oil. The acid from the tomatoes is enough and the flavor is not over taken by the vinegar!!! Serve with crusty Italian bread for dipping!
Great job Nicole! Great timing for me, I just got cucumbers in my grocery order that was just delivered. 🥒🍅🧅 Next day- I just made the 2nd version & it's delicious.

Thank u so much! Perfect timing for the cucumber salad recipes. And three to choose from and try all!

Haven’t watched her video yet but did she not mention that it is Korean style?

My mom made the same!
That’s the way I make it. The Germans do it that way… sour cream, not mayo
My family uses lemon juice with the sour cream and a pinch of sugar
i assume it'd work with yogurt to make it low calorie?
@@mencot89 I've never tried it, but I would think it would work
Oh wow, all of those cucumber salads look delicious 😊
That crunch ❤

OMG. Can't wait 2 try the Asian version..thanks 😂

My thoughts exactly! I love this chef!
Do you have an Asian market near you? Korean chili flakes aren't very spicy so if you do sub in crushed red pepper flakes, do it to taste.
Can be bought on Amazon and eBay.
I'm British, independent health store retailers popped up.

My favorite food channel!!! Nicole is the best.

Sensible 👍
Love the 2nd salad , we always had a gallon jar of that in the refrigerator when I was a kid.
Looks delicious. I will try very soon. Thanks 😊
Let me just say - I would love an in the kitchen job like this!!! 😊

Cucumber PARTY 🎶🎶yeah
Awesome recipes, thanks
Super tasty and yummy recipe friend🎉❤
Some fish sauce for the Asian style cucumber salad makes all the difference in freshness... 😀👍🏼
Grew up eating the marinated...I've made the creamy...now time to try the Asian!
Love your recipes
I love cucumbers 🥒! Cucumber salad yummy! Definitely making! ❤

I spotted a Cure t-shirt!!! 😍😍🤩🤩

Did you peel and slice first then soak?? Thanks.
You had me at Dukes Mayo. ❤❤😮

Yummy 😋🤤
Nice sharing dear friend 💗

“Roscoe, come here!!” 😂
Where are the recipes located?
I think I would have just cut them up and mixed other things in for the Asian salad
Nicole, on the Asian salad. The recipe card says two garlic cloves, but it is not in the video. Is the two garlic cloves a typo on the written recipe please advise.
Can sugar be replaced by honey or syrup?
For the creamy salad we used sour cream
The third one looks like oi muchim or cucumber kimchi.
😊
The spiral cut looks like too much work, but all three recipes look fantastic.
she fire
What is the amount of the ingredients on the Asian salad. I have all the ingredients, just need to know how much of everything to use, couldn't find it.
Ingredients
Serves 4
1 English cucumber (or 2 to 3 kirby cucumbers), washed
¼ cup thinly sliced onion
1 green onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons Korean hot pepper flakes (gochugaru)
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
I'd just cut the Asian one into slices, NOBODY in my Family is going to eat the Curly Cues with Chop Sticks anyway.
The last video had a bunch of beer on the fridge shelf. What happened to all that beer? 😄😄
I normally don’t trust a petite cook. However, despite her figure, I really enjoy her recipes. 😊
The first two are winners, the third not so much. ⬅
My guess is you probably don’t like spicy? 🌶️ I’ve never had this one but it looks good I’m going to try it. I’ve had the second one but need to try the creamy cucumber 🥒 and the last one.
@@roseyberry4590 I like spicy.

I love ALL your recipes, and I will like the video out of respect but I so dislike cucumbers. 😂
Omg sugar !! Noooooo
No vinegar or sugar in the cucumber ,tomato salad! Italians add only olive oil. The acid from the tomatoes is enough and the flavor is not over taken by the vinegar!!! Serve with crusty Italian bread for dipping!
The classic creamy cucumber is made with sour cream...not mayo. And red onion.
This would be good but my mom made it sooo much better...
Only according to you ..!!!🙄
Great job Nicole! Great timing for me, I just got cucumbers in my grocery order that was just delivered. 🥒🍅🧅 Next day- I just made the 2nd version & it's delicious.
