Loving the frequent videos Chris! I am recovering from what should have been a straightforward procedure that sent me into cardiac arrest on the operating table. The body is healing but the mind will take a while to get over needing CPR, etc. Your videos are helping to keep those demons at bay.
I hope your videos stays like this even if you get filthy rich from doing this. It's like experiencing it through your eyes. Absolutely love this channel. And congratulations on your lovely family. Hang in there.
Father of 6 here. Can confirm, the lack of sleep is the hardest part and it only gets better! We had a homestead growing up and his most common phrase was "I'm not building a barn, I'm building men". Our children will be the next generation, train them accordingly!
It is rough. I'm on my 3rd(1st was adopted at 5) and at 43 with a 9 month old I feel pretty tired. However, as I lay here with her passed out on me wasting my day off it makes me feel panic that she is going to grow up. When she sees me she just smiles so big. She will always love me but it won't always be this pure if you know what I mean. Seeing that little smile of pure joy just feels me with.. uh.. rage. lol. I used to be that happy. The world is pretty dumb and watching her happiness while she doesn't know better is probably the closest I'll ever get again. lol
Definitely worth the $800! The 80-96 broncos are absolutely killer off-road in bone stock form. I was really hoping to see you get it back to daily driver status and do some off-roading.
As an aspiring mechanic who works on all my own vehicles I must say I love your videos for the simple tips and tricks you help share really no nonsense and overflowing know how thanks so much for your awesome commitment to saving these old vehicles that most wouldn't bother with!
working on the brake hose, and suddenly...."I think I hear a train coming..." and drone shot of a Norfolk Southern power unit emerging from the tree-lined roadbed...you are a man after my own heart, and my Dad would have enjoyed your channel as well...thanks man. Best to Jen and the Papoochka...
YAY A BRONCO! I enjoy watching you mess with anything. An 88 Bronco was my first vehicle so I’m very familiar with those things. Honestly for being a Jersey truck I would have expected worse rust because they rusted pretty bad. I’m from Pittsburgh so I see similar. Your right they never made 2wd full size bronco in the US.
My wife surprised me with a sweater and a shirt the other day from nnkh highly recommend everyone start dropping hints to you’re significant others with Christmas around the corner 😂
My first car was a 1984 bronco, with a 4 speed manual transmission. That thing was like a rolling living room, so many good times!!! I will always love those old broncos! Thanks Chris
Amazes me how you find the nerve to fire something like that up and drive it down the road and into the woods alone hoping it doesn't break down. Courage, I love it. Always entertaining videos. Long time subscriber.
Hope the baby is well. My 1st grandchild was born on October 2 and if I’m right, your baby was born around the same time. Glad you’re still finding times to make the videos. Thank you and congratulations.
I had an 89 and a 95 Bronco. They were great! Don't step on the roof of a brand new Bronco, you will fall through! This old one is tougher than your RAV4 and you can modify them at will!
A 429 ThunderChicken!! I used to have a '67 Tbird with the 390. If you're going to work on it, make sure you bring a spool of vacuum hose. There's a nipple on the back of the carbeuretor riser plate that often breaks off, drove me crazy trying to tune it before I found the vacuum leak. Some of your vacuum features are the hide-away headlights, tilt-away steering column when you open the door, and a rear window fresh air vent. Awesome car, like you're floating on the highway. Should be worth 3k at least.
Yes, as a father of 4, kids are a LOT of work. Definitely worth it and it makes us appreciate what our parents went through. Keep making these videos as I watch them religiously. Growing up in the 70's, my friends and I worked on our cars ourselves. Easy to do and could not afford a mechanic anyway. My favorite car was a 1969 Nova. Rusted out to the hilt but the 250 six ran great. Paid $130 for it in 1978.
Very awesome.I drive a 1990 f150 with the 300, and it has 425k. I bought it new in 1991 when I was 16. It was my first car. It has the OG engine and transmission. However, I have deleted the car, smog pump, charcoal can, and about 75% of the vacuum lines. The AC is still cold, and I drive it 50 miles a day roundtrip to work. The best thing about old Ford trucks is that the parts are dirty, cheap, and abundant.
I bought a running driving 89 Bronco with a plow for $1600. It's rotted out horribly. I bought it only because the tailgate was solid and complete. The previous owner was getting inundated with messages about that aluminum panel on the tailgate. Would he sell just that. He wanted rid of the entire thing but people were offering good money for just that aluminum thing. The one I bought for parts paid me back just with the tailgate. I sold the entire plow rig for $300. I ended up using the engine from it as well. Turns out it was freshly overhauled. Bored to .030" over on the cylinders, new everything. Fresh out of the shop. Then all the other little parts I've picked from it over the years, it's been a life saver. Yours for $800 fairly complete and not looking bad at all, that's a hell of a deal. Around here, even with the rot underneath and the front U joints, $1200 is a great deal especially for someone like me. I daily mine and I'm trying to keep it going as long as I can. For me that's a gold mine. And a title. It would never see the road again for me but that it has a title might mean something to someone else.
Had an '88 f150 with this exact engine. Only had the truck up to 55000 miles, but it was as reliable as my Honda Accord. Which is a compliment to Ford.
Your a good person chris, ive been mechanic for 36 years now, just wanted to say the first video i watched of yours i could tell right away what kinda person you was, also i have 3 daughters all 2 years apart in age, the next time you hug your baby girl, go ahead and hug her again, tell her daddy loves you as much as possible, because its gonna fly bye, TRUST ME BROTHER, ALSO THE KEY TO ALL OF IT, IS BEING HUMBLE JUST LIKE YOU MENTCHENED IN THE VIDEO, SORRY FOR THE LONG MESSAGE, JUST FELT LEAD TO SAY THAT TO YOU CHRIS. Also dont worry about people beating you up with messages, they just have no idea!!!
Chris totally cracks me up. He was mentioning how he jumps from one thing to the next but just then he saw the Eddie Bauer badge and was like ooh look, Eddie Bauer edition! Late 80s Broncos are awesome. Good to see him taking this on!
That would be an easy $3500 CDN. Don’t find many up here. That TPS voltage on those speed density fords is always an issue, fox’s always have the same thing. Good video man !
Dude…kids change everything. I’m just glad you’re still making videos. Things get easier once the baby will sleep through most or all of the night. But…you may never sleep the same again. Lol. Great video. Thanks!
Chris, hang in there with the new baby - she'll be big in no time and you'll wonder where the time went. I can only imagine the model RR layout you could build if you put your mind to do it! Preferably HO, but N gauge would fit in a tight space as well! Train around the tree from now on!
In the 80's I was working at a Ford dealership a bunch of guy's were going 4 wheeling . The owners son took out a brand new Bronco when we got to the trails we took the roof off. At the end of the day we went back to get it and someone had stolen it. It poured rain all the way home needless to say his father was not happy.
I always thought TPS report was an Office Space meme but NKNH proves it's real and yeah just disconnect it to fix your engine issue. Once again this guy's mechanical genius humbles me. Absolute favorite UA-camr. And yeah that Bronco was a steal for $800. Replace the U-joint, sort the circuitry issue with the 4 wheel engagement and you got yourself a poor man's range rover. Those rigs are underrated because they were everywhere. But now not so much.
All I want to say is Chris for $800 it runs that well bronco man it's almost there All I want to say is also wishes for wellness good health for Jen and for your little baby and for you of course thank you for the content
They made a Bronco centurion which was a 4 door Bronco. Some were built on the c350 frame while most were on the 150 frame. Centurions are somewhat hard to find.
LOVE THE OLD BRONCO'S!!! MY FIRST WAS A 78 W/351M SWAPPED TO A 460/C6.. THAN A 87 5.8 EDDIE BAUER WAS SO FUN HATED TO SELL TO UNCLE.. NOW LOOKING AT A 96 EDDIE BAUER 5.8 !!!
I have only watched the video for a 1 1/2 minutes and I can tell you now it's not going to scrap.. it has great potential.. and I would think it's a sought after vehicle.. it's disappointing about the floor pan rust
Just wondering when you wash all that mold off them cars in your driveway and water runs into the yard. Is there a chance the little goose man can get it on his paws and drag mold spores into house and the baby can come in contact with it. Love channel.
37:38 I’m 52 and father of triplets here (They turn 21 in December). Mate, kids are hard work regardless how many you have. Your doin a good job and savour every moment cause time flies. The only advice i offer is don’t be too quick to “make” her sleep through the night. Lil’miss needs her regular feeds and It’ll be tough, but by about 9 months she should be chunky enough for an all-nighter. 🇦🇺🤙🏼
Love the videos! I’m from Australia and just wanted to say I love the videos! Some really really great information and new things to learn and understand! I’m only young being 22 but it’s great to see some different vehicles to what’s over here in Aus but nonetheless, nice to see something new and different! I’ve been watching for a while now and I reckon I’ve almost seen every video with it being such a vast range of different things and just being down right entertaining to watch! Love the will it run videos as well, amazing to see just how you get vehicles to run whether it’s a car, truck or a tractor it’s all entertaining and a lot of fun to watch! Also congrats on the little one!
Love the 4th and 5th gen Bronco's. I bought a 93 for my oldest son and a 95 for a daughter and they still have them 10 year later. Run great and will likely outlive me.
Definitely has value and huge potential. I would not sell for under $1800. The TBird 429 is in my opinion worth approximately $3500 - possibly more if it runs and drives. The hide away headlights are a very desirable feature that could also add value if functionality is correct.
I have very little interest in cars and how they work, but I am always amazed at how Chris can make a Fred Flintsone car run! I look forward to your videos. I wanna see Jen and the baby too. I miss her.
Yes those are solid my brother had an 89 and never had any trouble with it I bought the matching 89 F150 that I show on my you tube channel. Also 5.0 liter V8. 160,000 miles and still hauls o ton payloads with easy. Sure that Bronco needs some fixing up but well worth $1800
Highly recommend adding the relay headlight harness from Bronco Graveyard if you hang onto it. All the light current runs thru the headlight switch and burns it up
If you plug that title service you should also mention they can only do it on vehicles that are 30 years or older most states you can do it yourself if it’s that old
I'm really coming around to your channel, I like your style. I wish that you would consistently drop your videos on Friday night along with the other guys I watch on Friday night as I hang out in the garage. Keep up the awesome work.
I just got a 96 explorer with the 5.0 AWD for free for towing a couple cars with winter coming here in Oregon figured I'd be at up a free running explorer other than my 97 Chevy that I'm putting money into
Being a Dad is both super tiring and super rewarding but believe me Chris it gets easier down the line. Still the best know how on the tube, excellent.
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow Originally there would have been a round cover to hide the "ugly" wheel, the chrome outer trim band you have retained the cover. Still popular on RV's/Campers.
just found this channel about a week ago and the thing im liking about chris is he has the right amount of add to keep videos interesting. keep up the good work.
Brings back tons of memories I had an absolute mint black 88 bronco 302 automatic with beautiful red interior. Definitely regret getting rid of that one. Great video as always buddy! Thanks for the content!
I've owned a 76 Bronco that I sold prior to my service years then later bought a 95 Eddie Bauer that with it's 5.0 liter towed a 6000lb 30 foot walkaround boat from Florida to WA State. That 5.0 handled it really well although I had to keep the speeds normal due to the short wheelbase towing that big of a boat. (Weight wise within that 95's tow capacity. Prior to the tow job the 95 spent about a year in the Bahamas before being shipped back to Florida and the big move to the west. I only parted with the 95 with it's bench seat behind the two buckets as it was tough to setup the kids carseats and I migrated to a supercrew. I wish I had never parted with the 76. Keep up the good work fixing things Chris..
My daughter cried for a year and I was like u seemingly frustrated. Then 1 day I woke up and she was 30. 2 daughters of her own. Enjoy this time life is too short🙏👍
Interesting fact. The north american hunting club was a thing back in the day. I joined the lifetime membership and so did a lot of other people. If you were a lifetime member they would send you hunting items to test. Well, something happened and they stopped putting out the magazine and stopped sending things to test. They basically took our money and folded. I'm still annoyed, it was like 300 and something or something like that to join the lifetime membership. I remember making payments. That was back in the 90s so like 5000 dollars now adjusted for inflation and they just took our money.
they had a fishing club also.similar lifetime membership.they sent me some cheap hooks to test, they would also send books almost every month, was a Pita to return them.kinda like the book of the month club.they folded and absconded with everyones money
Damn! My mom had a 86 black bronco lifted 6 in with swampers on it! Thing got jacked in San Antonio Tx BUT I’ll never forget looking at it and saying one day it will be mine lol never got one. Great video as always Chris keep em. Coming
Chris the vehicle was probs in the best place at first based on the structure alone, but am sure you should get your money back on the engine alone. But as usual decent blog on your knowledge of these old cars.👍
My father in law had a Bronco his was a 300 6cyl. with a 5 spd manual. It would pull a 16ft trailer with a Masse Ferguson on it plus all the attachments. Torque monster for a 6 cylinder.
Congratulations on the new baby. Autumn is a beautiful name. You're right babies are difficult but the good news is you'll look back on these as good days. Enjoy the process. Love the Bronco. Lots of rust as you would expect for your locale. However, I think you might have saved it in the nick of time. You could definitely make a nice profit parting her out. However I hope someone wants to pony up and save her. Thanks Chris
Surprised you don’t have a model train set set up in the basement would be awesome to be a train driver By the way, OJ is going to want his bronco back lol
So 2 things about Chris....
1. He can tell the psi of fuel just by touching it...
2. He is easily distracted by trains 😂😂😂
Love it Chris 😂😂😂
3. He drives very quickly for having zero brakes. 🤣
@andytaylor1588 that as well 😂
Agreed.
Love your videos Chris! Those little 302s are great! I don't think you paid too much at all
And his favorite movie is life stinks
Loving the frequent videos Chris! I am recovering from what should have been a straightforward procedure that sent me into cardiac arrest on the operating table. The body is healing but the mind will take a while to get over needing CPR, etc. Your videos are helping to keep those demons at bay.
Wishing you the best, my friend
Wish you well. Brother
Wishing you a speedy recovery both in body and mind my freind
I’m about to go in for a straightforward procedure. 😳
Get better Soon
I hope your videos stays like this even if you get filthy rich from doing this. It's like experiencing it through your eyes. Absolutely love this channel. And congratulations on your lovely family. Hang in there.
filthy rich collecting all this old fuel and never buying cleaning fluids ever again!
ABSOLUTELY. Stay the same, Chris
That round chroom thing is the ring for the spare tire on the backdoor ,there was a plastic plate in so you protected the spare and it looks nice
Watch opening rear window and dropping hate prob rusted tracks and mechanism on window and door latched seized
Father of 3 here, the first year is tough with a baby. After that it is the best times of your life.
Nope
Father of 6 here. Can confirm, the lack of sleep is the hardest part and it only gets better!
We had a homestead growing up and his most common phrase was "I'm not building a barn, I'm building men". Our children will be the next generation, train them accordingly!
Kids spell love, t-i-m-e
It is rough. I'm on my 3rd(1st was adopted at 5) and at 43 with a 9 month old I feel pretty tired. two things i had never done prior to watching your videos:
1. pick my own parts at a junkyard
2. scrap metal
Appreciate your vids especially noticed the different video angles...blessings to you and your blossoming family

Definitely worth 800 especially with the paint saver’s around the door lock remember when stuff like that was all the rage back in the day
Love that 80s 2-tone color scheme
Another example of why car washes are so important-USE THEM ! Use them properly clean underneath because that’s part of the maintenance process
Don't pay attention to the negative comments. Your videos are great. 👍
My wife surprised me with a sweater and a shirt the other day from nnkh highly recommend everyone start dropping hints to you’re significant others with Christmas around the corner 😂
Brilliant idea 💡💡 I'm still holding out for a Zip up Hoody . Hopefully Chris will get some NNKH license plates !?

Dude are you kidding !!! Wow a Bronco!!!! I love it America s we're built by Ford hope you keep it 💯
Best day ever! A new NNKH video comes out. Love your work.

My favorite thing about that vintage ad is learning that they just had the camera at a 45 degree angle, it was pure flat ground lmao.

Your on-the-fly troubleshooting skills are insane! I was really impressed with how you got it running again by unplugging the TPS.
Had an '88 f150 with this exact engine. Only had the truck up to 55000 miles, but it was as reliable as my Honda Accord. Which is a compliment to Ford.
I owned an 87 Bronco Eddie Baur. It had the 351 V8. Bought it from my neighbor after she quit driving. Awesome rig. Nice find. 😊
KNEW it was Eddie Bauer edition soon as I saw that cute little stripe of colorful pine trees on the upholstery! 😅

I was just thinking it's a bummer the Giants v Panthers game isn't on my TV. Let's see what's on youtube and this banger showed up. Awesome.

They made a Bronco centurion which was a 4 door Bronco. Some were built on the c350 frame while most were on the 150 frame. Centurions are somewhat hard to find.
But it was made by centurion not ford. Just like the chevrolet g vans..some conversions are rare and sought after but not made by chevrolet.
LOVE THE OLD BRONCO'S!!! MY FIRST WAS A 78 W/351M SWAPPED TO A 460/C6.. THAN A 87 5.8 EDDIE BAUER WAS SO FUN HATED TO SELL TO UNCLE.. NOW LOOKING AT A 96 EDDIE BAUER 5.8 !!!

I learned 2 new things from this video about the o2 and tsp sensors this is why I watch this channel 💯

Highly recommend adding the relay headlight harness from Bronco Graveyard if you hang onto it. All the light current runs thru the headlight switch and burns it up
If you plug that title service you should also mention they can only do it on vehicles that are 30 years or older most states you can do it yourself if it’s that old
Yeah sorry I should mention that. I thought his website covers all the details on it though.
Congrats on the new baby. Enjoy every moment as they grow up way too fast.
Had a 1988 just like that. Memories!! 👍👍🍺🍺
Congrats on the daughter. I raised three, mostly by myself.
Now 13,17 and 25.
It's amazing but so hard. Love to you all.
I'm really coming around to your channel, I like your style. I wish that you would consistently drop your videos on Friday night along with the other guys I watch on Friday night as I hang out in the garage. Keep up the awesome work.
I just got a 96 explorer with the 5.0 AWD for free for towing a couple cars with winter coming here in Oregon figured I'd be at up a free running explorer other than my 97 Chevy that I'm putting money into
I can watch you 24/7 doing car stuff
Being a Dad is both super tiring and super rewarding but believe me Chris it gets easier down the line. Still the best know how on the tube, excellent.
5:25 thats the spare tire cover, the spare usually is on a bracket in the back that swings out away from the tailgate
Okay that makes sense. Thought it looked a little skinny to be a truck tire cover.
New vid? What a great way to start the day!
Brings back tons of memories I had an absolute mint black 88 bronco 302 automatic with beautiful red interior. Definitely regret getting rid of that one. Great video as always buddy! Thanks for the content!
Rarely been this early with a video. Nice watch for Sunday afternoon!
This guy is unbelievable. Hes so good
Big chrome ring goes around the spare tire like the ring on a finger.
What a great advert for Ford! Started right up. Windows still working.
23:49 oh man! Sleeperdude88 would love this one!
Even seasoned mechanics could learn something from this channel. Chris has probably forgotten more than I'll ever know about vehicle repair.
The best part of sunday! Watching a new video 🙌🏻
Protected by Italian American Police Society of New Jersey-keepa u hands off!
@@fishinmusician-h3i Thanks, never knew there was a fishing club too.
First vehicle was a 92 Eddie Bauer with a 302. Loved that truck
Thanks for the train ❤.
Damn! My mom had a 86 black bronco lifted 6 in with swampers on it! Thing got jacked in San Antonio Tx BUT I’ll never forget looking at it and saying one day it will be mine lol never got one. Great video as always Chris keep em. Coming
That TBIRD is a super classic...utterly cool and rare. It's a must for saving. Do it..what a find!
Chris the vehicle was probs in the best place at first based on the structure alone, but am sure you should get your money back on the engine alone. But as usual decent blog on your knowledge of these old cars.👍
Sup Chris? Hope your family is well.
My father in law had a Bronco his was a 300 6cyl. with a 5 spd manual. It would pull a 16ft trailer with a Masse Ferguson on it plus all the attachments. Torque monster for a 6 cylinder.
Cant get enough of these videos
Congratulations on the new baby. Autumn is a beautiful name. You're right babies are difficult but the good news is you'll look back on these as good days. Enjoy the process.
Love the Bronco. Lots of rust as you would expect for your locale. However, I think you might have saved it in the nick of time. You could definitely make a nice profit parting her out. However I hope someone wants to pony up and save her. Thanks Chris
Surprised you don’t have a model train set set up in the basement would be awesome to be a train driver
By the way, OJ is going to want his bronco back lol
Great video as always mate many thanks for sharing it with us all hope you are well
Is OJ hiding in the back seat?
just hang in there Chris, the first year can be the hardest one with a newborn, just keep on as much of a routine as you both can.
