Ricky Jaramillo according to the story yes., but the gods isen't show in the movie, only Achilles mother Thetis . another thing i don't understand , why did they call Apollo the sun god ? he's not the son God, Helios is the sun god. Apollo is god of music and more . Wolfgang Petersen created this film and he has studied and read homer iliad since he was a little boy, I don't understand why he makes so many mistakes in this movie

Achilles was an atheist before it was cool
no atheism means the lack of belief in god or gods. He believed in so he is not an atheist. He just hated gods. He was a misotheist which means someone who hates gods. But i think it would be cool if he were an atheist.
how exactly do you know for sure if he was or was not an atheist? The Trojan was happened over 3,000 years ago. Most records are manipulated so Achilles might've actually been an atheist. Regardless it doesn't matter. There is no way to prove it.
