Courtrooms are no place to act out. Decades ago, a guy who worked in same plant as i did, was in the local court for his divorce. During the proceedings, he apparently was told by the judge that they were done hearing from him. He proceeded to tell the judge that this was "the people's court, not his, and that he would be heard." He was cited for contempt, and spent 2-3 days in jail. Imagine that. Going to divorce court, and ending up spending some nights in jail. The lesson is that judges are pretty much autocratic kings in their courtroom, and you'd best not cross them. Trump has been given way more slack than most of us would have received.

That's probably false. This second hearing was about additional gag order violations that were committed before the warning of jail was given. Generally, violations of gag orders receive a warning about jail. Only after that, if the gags continue to be broken, then they jail.
