Watch as we walk you through the simple steps to installing a Twinkly Pro Majestic Mountain Commercial Christmas Tree. Before installing your own tree, we recommend watching this video a couple of times to familiarize yourself with all the key steps.
Steps to Installing a Twinkly Pro RGB Animated Commercial Christmas Tree
Note: The steps below are meant to accompany the steps in the video. Not all details are outlined below.
1) Bench test the controllers and update firmware if needed
2) Set the base and make sure it is level and L brackets are installed
3) Build the frame, one ring at a time
4) Insert the top pole and 5’ treetop piece
5) Install the elongated top branches. Branch A then Branch B, then connected into the Y splitter.
6) Anchor the tree securely
7) Install the first controller and plug the first 5 Y splitters into the first 5 ports. Do not use port 6.
8) Shape the branches on the ground, but be sure and do additional shaping as the branches are installed on the frame.
9) Begin installing the branches. Branch A, followed by Branch B, then connected into the Y splitter.
10) Adhere to good cord management as you work your way down the tree
11) Install the second controller after 10 branches (5 Y splitters). Again, leave Port 6 open.
12) Continue installing the branches, adding a new controller after every 10 branches.
13) At the base of the tree, install the dry box and hook up your router and network switch. The router plugs into the network switch, and then the Cat 5 from each controller plugs into the switch.
14) Finish the remaining branches
15) Map the tree with the Twinkly App
16) Enjoy the virtually limitless customization of your new Twinkly Pro Commercial Christmas Tree
Safety Note: Failure to use proper lift equipment or not securing the tree properly and installing base L brackets can lead to the tree falling over, causing serious injury.

I'm just curious how many lights are on this tree. I just ordered 5 boxes of the 600 rgb twinklys and plan on putting them on a 12ft. slim artificial tree to use outdoors.

Man, we need a smart phone to put up a Christmas tree now....I'm terrified when the day comes that we need a smart phone to use the toilet.....I hope they come out with the "GENIUS" phone by then or I'm buying stock in Fruit of the Looms. Can I use Twinkly music with this tree if all the controllers are all on one WiFi?

Thank you for your question. The Twinkly Pro trees utilize the ethernet controllers, which will not sync with the wifi Music dongle. The good news is that there is a new Music Player coming out this year for the ethernet controllers.
