+PyroDrone well if I may add the 11th tip. this from my experience. Keep as many long steady shots as possible and not to be tempted to look fancy. It is a great help for editing and a life saver for rubbish shots lol. I am subbed like your work
Okay video and good points for first time flyers and those wanting to learn the basics. Your audio presentation could use a lot of work. Why not pre-plan and script what you're going to say, rather than show your uncertainty regarding terms and other subjects of basic film-making? What you describe as a "pan" or "slow rise" etc. at 2:19 is actually a "tilt up"'or "tilt down." It is most definitely, not a "pan!" You're presenting yourself as one in-the-know while not really knowing the basics yourself.
How long ago was this video created? It seems to undervalue the improved intelligent mode flying capabilities of newer drones like the Phantom 4 Pro where the photographer can plan segments of flight where the drone flys itself while the photographer focuses on camera movement.
Your pretty much right on everything. Slow steady shots work best. I have adopted this with my filming and it works well. thumbs up from me
+UAV HDTV Thank you!
I've seen these same techniques used in lots of movies as well. People sometimes just don't think about the shot before they fly.

+UAV HDTV That's very true. I've fallen trap to difficult editing cuts because something doesn't flow right

good footage...work on your audio commentary.

You are correct. This video was posted about a year ago. I am working on an updated version to include the new advanced features.
Thanks for the advice
Good video manual from dron.
Comparing Fpv footage to that of a flaming drone is not a good example because they are two different things! Love the video tho
which drone did you use to get these clips?
Phantom 3 Pro
thanks
like he saif in the beginning -.-
I like your videos. Nice job. Great tips. Thank you for sharing. Cheers.
Back up from your mic and don't talk so quiet
Yeah and maybe use a pop filter! The S's are painful to hear, and I feel like you are whispering into my ear which feels a bit pervy! lol
Good tips but extremely annoying audio with the way you talk and the effect you're making with the mic. Couldn't watch past 3 min.
yeah, sounded like an ASMR video half the time ._.
