Exceptionally well done presentation which earned not only a thumbs up but also a subscription for this first time viewer. I'm looking forward to even more coming up. - Joe -

That stain looks superb! And the laser engravings are beautiful as well; clear, well defined while still not looking out of place.
Personally I would try to make that banding little bit more worn, or aged. Just to embrace the rustic or vintage look. That's just a thought, those crates look great as they are.

Thanks! I appreciate it! I was actually trying to make the steel look old, but I didn't find a good way of doing it so I didn't bother. But I totally agree with you. Hopefully it will look old soon enough :)

    Cool!
You could also apply some patina on those metal parts.

No1 priority of being self sufficient:
    Get a beer source.
    No2:
Get solar energy and maybe wind if possible.
    No3:
Get a water recycling/purification/desalination system going
    No4:
Get more source of energy as the previous setup is falling short of proving sufficient energy
    No5:
    Start a farm
    No6:
    Get a bunker
    No7:
Revise the list and add to it.
