He makes me want to watch it 💛 my dad is actually 600 lbs and was actually more active than you'd think but it definitely caused tension in our relationship. I think my struggles with it - not wanting to make my father to feel ashamed but also wanting him to be around longer and him to be able to continue canoeing and running like he used to love. It was hard. I'm sure they both captured their roles well enough that I'll sit this movie out but happy to see him back ❤️
Great listening to Brendan's heartfelt, insightful reflections! Shout out to Seth, too, for being a great interviewer and giving Brendan the space. Not many talkshow hosts are confident enough to let the guest speak for nearly 3 minutes without interrupting.
I love Brendan Fraser. You can just see his humility and passion for his art. I’m so happy to see him back. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a bad bone in this man’s body. ❤
Long, long, long overdue for him to recieve as much admiration and respect from the public and industry that he has. Coming of age with Brendan Fraser movies, my generation feels like we're watching a friend turn his life around. He deserves it.
He’s getting his swagger back and it’s wonderful to see. So great to see him celebrated. It’s not just this role but a celebration of his entire career. We didn’t appreciate him enough the first time. Let’s not take for granted this second chapter. Let’s give this man the roles he has more than earned!
I love listening to him talk. He's so earnest and compassionate and thoughtful. There's a vulnerability in his voice that instantly forms a human connection with me. And he obviously has a deep love for filmmaking.
Brendan has always been an eloquent man who speaks with such a passion and warm level of wholesomeness. I could listen to him talk for hours if we sat down talk cinema.
If we're going to support any actor in Hollywood's career by going to their movies, I feel like this is a guy that we should do it with. He's just so humble and you can just feel he has had a hard journey in the film world/life in general.
I can't help but smile every time I see Brendan and the happiness on his face as the world adores him. I'm so happy for his epic comeback and how everyone is on board with him. He really and truly deserves it.
This man deserves all the love and appreciation he’s been giving. He gave one of the best performances I’ve seen in The Whale. I’m glad he got the Golden Globe nomination (even though he understandably won’t attend). But I REALLY want him to at LEAST get the Oscar nomination
He's not national treasure. He's international treasure. There are videos and comments in various languages adoring him as the Hollywood star who fills the happy childhood of 90s and 2000s generations around the world.
This man is getting back to the man we knew. Not only his looks. Which is great. He’s looking great. But just him and his spirit. I’m happy to see him again
This is truly what being humble and appreciative looks like at its finest moments. Brendan is special guy, very relatable and kind of nerdy and goofy (but in a great way that’d we never see from Leo or Brad).
I’m not watching all of his interviews for no other reason because his joy brings me joy! He’s like a happy and untainted by life child… I don’t know where he put all of that pain he dealt with the last 10 yrs but his joy is infectious!
I love how he gets so in depth with his characters and understands them so well. It shows how passionate he is about his talent. So glad hes back in the spot light again. One of the greats.
So happy to see Brendan working again! He is so talented and such an intelligent, kind man from all that I know of him! I hope he gets an Oscar for this movie!!!

I absolutely love Brendan Fraser, always have and always will. The excitement he has for his projects and the people he interacts with is so genuine. He is also so well spoke and really thinks about his answers to questions he's asked and always answers so beautifully. I cannot wait to see this movie.
I saw this and was in awe. Fraser is very endearing and believable in it but I want to say that Hong Chau's performance is really something else. She is an enabler without saying or recognizing her role that she plays in his destruction. It's really incredible.
I absolutely LOVE Brendan Fraser. He is such a humble, authentic, talented actor. I couldn’t be happier to see him acting and doing interviews again. One of my favorites 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💜
I watched the whale a week ago and this man deserves the world, Oscar’s be damned - he’s won the hearts of so many in his honesty. Awards don’t even matter at this point (he deserves all of them tbh tho) This role was eternal, and will stick with you forever. I haven’t stopped thinking about this movie in days. Brendan Fraser - thank you
Brendan Fraser all I wanna say is that as a child you were my cinema crush, and honestly I am so happy to have you back on the screens! Always will be a fan of your every talent!
This guy is so humble. Even when he's asked about his achievements, he's not talking about himself, he's mentioning all the people that he was working with. I'm really rediscovering Brendan Fraser. I'm just so ashamed that so many years had to pass for me to appreciate him.
It’s not always the individual who is at fault for their weight and illness. As a nurse I often find that there are so many challenges to changing lifestyle habits. It often is due to poverty and displacement and depression. Thank you for shedding light on a persons struggles with weight and the isolation a man can go through.
Thank you .I used to be an extremely good looking slim fit toxic person but was living in Chaos struggling with mental health issues….now on the right medications and therapy I’m a successful, happy mother of 2, but struggling with weight issues from the medication I’m on. Which would I rather ???????
Mental Health & Addiction are two areas that we as a society & community are still failing, we are just not putting enough money & time into them. Food addiction is a real addiction, I know because I had it. I have been overweight most of my life & it wasn't until I worked on my addiction to food that I began to see results, lose weight & keep it off. For people with kids, two jobs, not enough money coming in, loads of bills, medical issues etc it can be really hard to tackle such an addiction, there needs to be more money & resources put into these areas to assist people. My sister is a nurse so I know what nurses have to deal with on a daily basis for stuff all pay & no recognition so let me end this by saying a massive thank you for everything you do! Nurses really are the superhero's in our world!
My parents would guilt me into eating more as a kid which lead to an unhealthy weight. My dad would gaslight me into finishing off his food because 'we're poor and it can't go to waste' even if I didn't want to eat. My husband taught me that I didn't have to eat all of my meals if I didn't want to and I'm a lot healthier for it.
Brendan Fraser is a legend, period. I remember my younger brother obsessing over George of the jungle!! And then the mummy. He is loved through the years

I love that he takes such care to chose his words carefully and with empathy describing the prosthetics and inetent of the story
Brendan is just so pure - it seems like he remembers and appreciates every single person he ever worked with. The man is a treasure
I love that he goes out of his way to talk about his co-stars and speaks highly and in awe of them.
Brendan Fraser comes across as so kind, respectful and gentle. So happy for him and the recognition he’s getting for his craft.
True Felicia
Seth picking up on his enthusiasm for the prosthetics and coming back to it was a great hosting move. Awesome interview
He’s a true gem, always was.
What I love about this show is that the interviews seem so much less scripted and cropped compared to other late night shows.
I can't help but smile every time I see Brendan and the happiness on his face as the world adores him. I'm so happy for his epic comeback and how everyone is on board with him. He really and truly deserves it.
Brendan is so well spoken and speaks from the heart. ❤
Seeing him back with life back in his eyes and confidence back in his walk has me on the verge on tears for the entire interview.
This man deserves all the love and appreciation he’s been giving. He gave one of the best performances I’ve seen in The Whale. I’m glad he got the Golden Globe nomination (even though he understandably won’t attend). But I REALLY want him to at LEAST get the Oscar nomination
I love Brendan so so so much. It warms my heart to see the light back in his eye
I love Brendan so much you can tell how humble he is, and his love for film isn’t hard to see
Brendan is a national treasure. So glad he's back. Hope he gets an Oscar for his performance in The Whale. Very powerful performance!
He's not national treasure. He's international treasure. There are videos and comments in various languages adoring him as the Hollywood star who fills the happy childhood of 90s and 2000s generations around the world.
The enthusiasm Brendan has for this movie just makes him shine from within! Such a sweet, kind man that deserves all the good things to come his way.
This man is getting back to the man we knew. Not only his looks. Which is great. He’s looking great. But just him and his spirit. I’m happy to see him again
He is so sweet and humble, I can´t waite to see the movie. Welcome back Brendan :-)
He is such a humble, calm and genuine person.
This is truly what being humble and appreciative looks like at its finest moments. Brendan is special guy, very relatable and kind of nerdy and goofy (but in a great way that’d we never see from Leo or Brad).
What a classy gentleman 👏🏽he was so careful with his words to describe the character and people with that condition with dignity, Im floored
Why am smiling the entire time watching this? Gods and Monsters is one of my favirite movies. I was blown away by it.
I’m not watching all of his interviews for no other reason because his joy brings me joy! He’s like a happy and untainted by life child… I don’t know where he put all of that pain he dealt with the last 10 yrs but his joy is infectious!
I really hope this sparks a comeback for him. I can't think of an actor that deserves it more.
He's already been having his comeback for a number of years now and its great to see :)
The most WONDERFUL smile and soul of the entire Hollywood and a lifetime. All the love from our whole family to Mr. Fraser!!!
I love that Seth just let Brendan talk ❤ so many hosts just have to say something even if it doesn’t contribute anything
man im glad hes back, i used to watch his movies when i was alil kid back in egypt, im happy for him
He’s such a fearlessly honest person. Love him!!!!!
Brendan, so, so happy to see you back to entertain us!.., God Bless!
He's just so loveable. I'm still happy he's back in the thick of it and showing his acting chops. I've always seen this in him. I'm a longtime fan ❤
literally this guy is so cool, his smile, you can just tell is so genuine. I love him.
There's sadness in those eyes, man. Poor guy Brendan, we still love you buddy. Thanks for all the good times and many more to come.
From Kenya 🇰🇪 aka Wakanda this guy is true genuine iconic and a real human being regardless of anything ...mad luv & respect for this guy he truly deserves it 🙏🏾
He is such a great human being. I wish nothing but the best for him.
I absolutely love Brendan Fraser, always have and always will. The excitement he has for his projects and the people he interacts with is so genuine. He is also so well spoke and really thinks about his answers to questions he's asked and always answers so beautifully. I cannot wait to see this movie.
I'm so glad things are going better for Brendan, he seems like such a sweet person
I have always loved Brendon Fraser, he went to college in Seattle, to Corning, where my actor sons wanted to go to. So glad he’s back!!
This person made so many great childhood memories for so many of us, im over the moon to see him resurface from all that past negativity.
I love watching Brenden in interviews! His happiness and joy are infectious
@Brendan Fraser for about 30 years now!
Brendan seems like a really great guy. So happy see him again and hear his thoughts.
Journey to the Center of the Earth used to be one of my favorites as a kid! All these years and I never knew Seth Meyers was in it.
This man has such an uncanny capacity to put what he is feeling into words; not just his thoughts, but the emotions he is going through.
He's such a complete sweetheart! I hope he never forgets how loved he is.
Love this guy. He's such a good actor. It's so weird that he got blacklisted for so long.
He is a beautiful person inside and out. I did not like the movie, but his performance made me cry. All the actors really, they did a wonderful job.
I'm so happy to see Brendan back in action. He deserves this more than most.
This guy is so humble. Even when he's asked about his achievements, he's not talking about himself, he's mentioning all the people that he was working with. I'm really rediscovering Brendan Fraser. I'm just so ashamed that so many years had to pass for me to appreciate him.
We missed you Brendan! Thank you for getting better and speaking your truth.
He is a beautiful human being...inside and out. His eyes have such a spark 💕💕
Oh stfu. Stop making excuses for these people. I've been poor and depressed and I'm not obese.
Drugs and alcohol ?
Brendan looks so happy! I'm so proud of him and happy he is back on the screen
Fraser seems like such a good soul. Genuine, grateful, humble, talented.
I saw The Whale -- amazing and emotional movie on so many levels. Brendan should get an award for this role.
I just love him. He made my childhood and teenage years magical. Heart of gold.
Brendan Fraser is a legend, period. I remember my younger brother obsessing over George of the jungle!! And then the mummy. He is loved through the years
This man is a treasure. The way he eloquently describes everything. Brendan..thank you for gracing us with your presence once again.
So glad to see him getting good roles and doing so well. 💜
Seriously we do no deserve u Brendan, ur truly a really nice person and are great at humor, drama and action. It's good to see u back
