I love Rosé's voice, and she is one of my biases, and her voice is heavenly, However, I listened to her in G-Dragon's song, her voice was HEAVENLY I love it so much.
Winter was scouted by SM for her dance in the first place, and only started training as a vocalist after she got into SM, she used to be in a dance group and her movements are so fluid and her synchronisation with the beat is always on point which makes watching her performances so addictive, that's why many people prefer to watch her solo fancams more
Her visuals play a major role tho….Winters fancam weren’t viral for looking gorgeous or for looking cute in the thumbnail

not trynna be rude, but can't believe she was cast because of dancing. Her stage presence is not it, not worst...it isn't proportional to how her fans overhype it. I don't think the fancam is famous because of her performance, it was because of that cutesy charm...(ngl... she is cute). but looks only cant pay it off. she is a nice performer, but Karina has great facial expression and skills too, so she executes it nicely. But winter lacks facials but has some nice dance skills( sharpness and elegance) tbh, she is talented, and *CAN* be more, that's why people are hesitating about her cause she has the possibility-ability

Stage presence is just the ability to catch the attention of audience(in this case non-fans) and each person have their own preference about it so based on the attention winter gets from non-fans i think she is doing quite well
And by your logic what use is stage presence if it can't make people watch your performance because if you look at aespa, Winter is the most popular among Korean gp and non-kpop fans so people like to watch her performance rather than the group's that's why in some cases her fancams outview the group performance

When she was a IZ*ONE member ,there're 12 members and so each member gets the limited chance to show off their skills.
But now she's a IVE member , it's clear she has improved her skills and I know her talent is not a joke since pd48.
If u watch her fancams, you can see her passion through her performance.
She always try to improve her skill better and better.

I prefer rose's voice cause even though it can be nasal it suites Blackpink's songs and sounds good to me plus her singing just coveys so many emotions like her part in kill this love and lovesick girls is something no one can mimic according to me. ningning's voice is also powerful and verstile and her breath control is amazing. both of them are amazing in their own way

I agree with Winter precision and details, but Karina dance with style as for me, it is seen more interesting and commercial. Like comparing people who learn through dance classes strictly those who dance through the streets or self-learning, both have their own merits. One of the thing that Karina dances more stylish is because her presence and expression compared to Winter. Winter execute the movement well and clear, and Karina execute the movement' flavor well. Both still are great idols nevertheless.
Winter is just way more developed in dancing (specifically in popping). I feel like Winter should've been the main dancer, while karina should've been the visual member.

The choregraphy fit her better for some reason. But the three of them are definitly WAY better dancer than Karina is and probably will be in the futur.

1. Is this even a debate - Yujin obviously. Shas has that charisma and is able to express the meaning of the songs. Wonyoung's stage presence is a little bit superficial as it doesn't dive deep into the message and as a result she lacks in versatility.
2. When it comes to technique, Ningning is indeed better (I'm in love with her vibrato and resonance), but don't underestimate Rosé, she's actually pretty good and is improving day by day. Rosé is now consistently supporting her Bb4's, something she was lacking prior. One thing I would like to say is that technique isn't the sole factor that makes a good singer, every person trained in vocals knows this. Rosé's artistry is off the charts and embodies what an artist really is, and I think that's why all the vocal trainers praise her, along with her unique voice.
3. I think at this point, I will say Jungkook, but Jin in his comfortable mid-range beats everyone else. If Jin continues improving at the rate he's going, he's likely to take over.
4. The gap between all Aespa's members in dancing isn't that big, but at this point Karina edges Winter by a little bit. Winter's really good with isolations, popping and basically hip-pop catered dancing which is Aespa's choreographies so it's no wonder she's standing out. But Karina is really good with adding flavour to the movements, I just adore those head tilts of hers, and she's good with her arms. She has a little bit of a weight-bearing problem and once she's fixed that shifting force in her other leg, she would be really good. Karina's improved a lot too so I think that's commendable.

I stan both Yujin and Wonyoung since produce 48 to IVE. I agree Yujin is way more talented in all aspects. (Not hate) Anyway love them as a WIZ*ONE and DIVE.

I agreeeee as a wony stan! Wonyoung is more of a center/visual idol & socialite songwriter! An Yujin is what I consider to be more of an idol/singer & performer! Yujin can rap pretty well and is very versatile in many concepts (cute, girl crush, elegant, youthful, etc). Wonyoung so far has only been able to pull off some concepts, which isn’t bad because she still has lots of time to improve her versatility!!
I think wonyoung is better than her in stage presence plus she seems to be more well rounded cause not only she's involved in music industry but also in media/fashion business professionally.

Now.... Rose and Ningning.. both are really good vocalists but ngl Ningning has better vocal technique than Rose. because rose often strains her voice. But rose has a very unique vocal color!
Karina and Winter have DIFFERENT dancing styles, Winter focuses more on being detailed and powerful but i personally think she's focusing more on the dance than her facial expressions nor stage presence, Now karina is more of a flowy dancer, she has a graceful style. but her stage presence is better than winter imo.

Wonyoung and yujin case is one of the best examples about how people care for visuals more than talent, yujin is super pretty too, but people usually appreciate wonyoung more which i find so offensive, wonyoung is talented but her expressions are cringe, she winks 6968685890 times in one performance and it's super annoying, dancing too, she was so good in iz*one idk what is she doing in I've, whereas yujin's expressions are powerful, versatile and her dance is powerful, wonyoung definitely needs to improve,. I think in Jin vs Jungkook.... They both are skilled in their own ways, Jin is known for his high notes whereas Jungkook for his stable and powerful vocals.... But overall Jungkook is better when it comes to live performances with choreo because he can maintain stable vocals even with choreo despite having more lines but Jin can maintain his stability mostly in songs with less choreo despite having less lines...Jungkook can even sing Jin's solo songs easily and we have seen that many times
So overall Jin has an amazing voice for high notes and emotional songs whereas Jungkook is a powerful vocalist.... So comparing them is a bit weird

Rosie’s singing live makes me cry, I don’t cry often . She has a voice that tells a story. I didn’t like “ on the ground” at first but it’s my favourite now that I can relate and I cry everytime I listen to it coz it’s so beautiful

As a dancer myself karina is clearly better than winter. Even do people say that winter is really fluid she actually only highlights robotic movements. Karina is versatile dancer whith precise movements.
HONESTLY I LOVE NINGNIN AND PREFER HER MORE THAN ROSE (I AM BLINK AND MY BOTH) AND I LOVE JIN VOCALS MORE THAN JK
It’s a preference thing in the end. Wonyoung is clearly more focused on being a pretty idol while Yujin is more of a performer. I prefer the latter. It genuinely frustrated me for a moment watching Wonyoung & Sunghoon’s MC ‘Butter’ stage by the sheer lack of.... a performance (idk) Wonyoung gave, particularly in the chorus. But I only saw love for it because it was a visually appealing stage (visuals, bright colours, well styled)
I like i idols who are better performers and give energy/ great dancing (Wendy, Tsuki, Chaeyeon) but some some people prefer a prettier performance which is fine! We all have our preferences so while Yujin can appeal to one group Wonyoung can appeal to others.

I think there is a big chance of them being forced to actually, let’s be honest, Rose is famous for her unique (still beautiful) voice, and that’s exactly what YG is aiming for, unique idols, as you’ll stand out more, and gain more popularity. I unfortunately don’t think they really care about destroying a voice, they are also destroying the idols in many ways (extreme schedules, diets) It’s the money they’re after. The kpop industry is really harsh unfortunately. (This is not meant as an attack by the way! I’m just sharing my opinion on this situation)
Rosé voice is unique.. We can easily identify her voice. She always conveys story through the song. I feel emotional when I listen to her singing

But Nining voice is like any other kpop idol typical voice. Just like any other SM GG groups voice with lot of trained techniques. Very strong and powerful and hitting high note that's it. Sometimes it hurts your ear when you listen to such powerful voice.
Eg: if ain't got you. (when Rosé sing you can feel the pain and emotion, while ninning's was sounded like a kpop song with very high notes)

With aespa I kind of agree, you see when 70% of energy is put in dance it comes of neat and makes one fluid and professional but with 100% energy it's goes off as overdancing and exertion. But both Winter and Karina are good dancers... And yes Winter's dance style is my favorite, it's the way she controls her body with the beats.
Jin is skilled
Tbh, Yujin is more charismatic and eye catching than Woonyoung. I love both of them but Lee Seo, Yujin and Gaeul always caught my eyes they are natural eye catchy plus Liz ethereal visual
it's fine to compare, but as fans, whoever our preferences are, we shouldn't be over-stepping. i see a lot of people masking their hatred with "constructive" criticism term when in fact it's already a direct hate. let's just hope for idols to improve, and if they can't, well we can't do anything about it, perhaps just stan an idol to your preference

They don't know how to use vocal techniques properly and even the main vocalist JK has shallow support with limited supported vocal range throughout his career. I don't know why netizens act like vocal experts when they know nothing about vocal techniques and stuff.

Theres a reason why karina was the only member introduced as the all rounder member of aespa! Karina stage presence is wonderful and her dancing keeps improving you can check the got stage and she is on par with sm main dancers and boa!

Ok so here are some reasons why Rosé and Ningning can't be compared
1. Rosè belongs to 3rd gen and Ningning to 4th gen
2.Rosé has more experience than Ningning
3.Each company has its own style of vocalists
But I think I prefer Rosé. Her voice, whether nasal or deep,is truly a blessing.
And most important point you forgot to mention Technique wise Ningning is much better even though she's junior
People who criticize Rosé should watch Sea of Hope. She shined there. And ultimately it all goes down to preference but she isn't using a damaging technique atleast according to vocal coaches. It isn't a fake voice, it's hers!

In my opinion rosé's voice is just legendary . She has the most beautiful and angelic and unique voice. Ning Ning is good but I prefer rosé.
Yes but if you see, Rose had a angelic voice before but now her voice was damaged idk why but if you see than you will understand.
The thing is Rose has a unique voice which stands out and really gives flavor and edge to blackpink songs. She is a good singer but because her voice has become really weak due to straining too much, she really sounds off when she’s singing anything besides blackpink songs. I’ve never enjoyed any of her covers because everytime she just sounds like she’s really struggling to sing. Her voice doesn’t flow smoothly. I’m not hating on her it’s a fact. I feel like she had the potential to be a strong vocalist but because of the technique she uses ( I don’t know it’s true that yg made her sing a certain way), she has to strain her voice so much that she can’t to sing openly.

Jin is my ult bias and his voice is pure heaven. But if I ever get to only listen to one voice all my life I'll choosee Jungkook without a second thought. Jin's voice sounds angelic and joyous like his voice can make me cry and dance at the same time and Jungkook's voice is too soothing and calming it just feels like listening to his voice without doing anything. Both the boys have a way to make me emotional just with their voices, but Jungkook's in a fun way yk what i mean and jin's ina asorrowful way.

I honestly think that they cannot compare them that straight forward because they are all unique in their own way. For example, about Yuyin and Wonyoung, I personally think Yujin improvisation is better and her stage presence as well but I think that Wonyoung facial expressions are quite on spot. The fancam with the vibrant pink dress shows that her expressions in the introduction of the song are insane and on another level

I can only comment to the comparison in vocals since singing is so normalized in my country with a wide variety of genres. Vocal technique is a show of your versatility and range of your vocal tone with your natural singing voice. Most people who have a nice vocal tone ignore this aspect in singing and prefer their normal singing voice with no variety because why bother when you already have a nice voice that attract a lot of people. But to a trained ears it's just a good voice nothing else like how can you get inspired in singing technique's when that's just their normal vocal tone that appears easy because it's really easy to do with their vocal tone. But vocal technique on the other hand show's how much more hardwork you put to your singing because hardwork can't lie but fans can. Comparison isn't bad but forcing your own opinion to your fave to others is. To those who say they have more emotion, obviously didn't her other people that's not in kpop cover's of that song and lack a proper comparison of real emotion versus vocal tone that makes them emotional.

Yeah wonyoung one is understandable. She doesn't try fierce expressions, she only prefer smily or cute expressions. And yujin doesn't care about her looks while performing, wonyoung prefer looking graceful while yujin doesn't so yeah.

Why are people comparing Ningning and Rose, Rose has been in the industry for a long time and Ningning is apart of the 4th generation. They both have beautiful vocal colors but Ningning is on a whole other level. Technique >>>> Unique voice in my opinion.
Many k-pop group are manufactured at their debut. Some of k-pop idol grow become an artist. But in the end, it is about money. Money is the first concern of the label companies. Many fans do not understand about vocal technique, dance, etc. Most of them stan their idol because they connected emotionally, they like their visual, personality, and their fashion. So, the label companies search the visual first because it can attract their fan. They can train them, and hopefully they can sing and dance. It is about making money.
You can’t ask everything of the idol but yes it does get plain but that’s their signature style and it makes them their own original visual appearance and at least you know who it is because it’s distinctly different for the better not the worse
